Another wonderful tribute, for what, after Battra, is my second favorite opponent of Godzilla 🙂 the song fits perfectly for the character, however, as I did for Battra, also for Mechagodzilla I would easily match a song by Lacuna Coil, or Senzafine (" Endless"). This song is about awareness, indecision, the desire to find your own way, to be able to make your own choices and to have the strength to build your own destiny. In Mechagodzilla, in addition to the allegory of the risks that playing with science can involve, I also saw a representation of choice: in many of its versions, Mechagodzilla is an automaton, an artificial being created to be used and in as many of them it succeeds to acquire its own autonomy by being able to choose to act of its own free will. Even if on some occasions this choice will be Evil, Mechagodzilla still manages to overcome his slave status by becoming the only true master of himself.
