Lusine Zakaryan: ‘Armenian Soprano with a Divine Voice’ Lusine: The Saint of ‘Surps’ Hear Lusine, when She Chants the Sacred Word ~ Surp ~. (I call you ‘Surp Lusine’: Our Divine Lusine) Each time I hear your voice chanting ‘Surp’; I feel the angels arriving to this dark earth, Trying to purify souls of hidden devils. Lusine ~ You’re an Angel ~ You’re Surp Your name means Armenian crescent (Lusine). Your face hallows like the Moon. When you reach the end of your hymnation ~ Surp ~, I feel I have cleared all my rages against racist killers. You will remain Lusine, The Saint of Surps, With your glorious voice that rays from the clouds and With your amazing Holy Silvery Shining Word ~ Surp ~!
