As someone who has gotten 100% in this game before, I can confirm that it is a lot of effort especially since all of the planets are intertwined with side quests. That means that you can't just take the game one planet at a time, you have to run around the galaxy constantly waiting for new quests to unlock as you complete them around the galaxy. If anyone reading this actually wants to try and 100% this game, my best advice is to start by fully completing the story levels first (level challenges, true jedi, etc), then proceed to the open world.
As someone who also has gotten 100% twice, can recommend 2 ways of doing so (the one above is not bad, but i personally prefer the ones below for reasons i explain in them) 1) Do story mode first to unlock planets and after finishing saga u can go and explore free galaxy. That way you can get more cyber bricks to unlock more upgrades (such as damage. collectables detector, panels skip and so on). The studs are harder to collect, than in story, but its much more fun to destroy free galaxy, than trying to 100% true jedi on some levels without multiplier (8x is more than enough, you can collect this multiplier and then mix story levels and free galaxy) This way u can easy upgrade and don't have to stick to 1 thing so u don't get bored. 2) Explore the galaxy inbetween story missions in the first place. I did this in my second playthrough as i already knew the story and it was much more comfortable experience, here is why: 1. I did various missions so i didn't get bored by same story missions or side quests 2. I collected multipliers much faster than my 1st time playing and it helped me not to return to many story missions for true jedi 3. When you arrive at new place and do missions, that in front of your eyes, you can always unlock something for another planet, so when you return after finishing the story, you can practically evade the problem of the commentator above, as you have already unlocked everything you need. P.S. This part is especially for Andrew: if you decide to do it, buy at least 1 step of panel skipping in Hero, Villain and Astromech Droid section (before you complete all game, because if u didn't know, u can skip all these puzzles in cost of 4 cyber bricks, that's really helpful, trust) P.P.S. Or, if u think that's unnecessary and it doesn't bother you, then play as you wish and, i guess, fuck me then :D
I've also gotten all the trophies and I can also surely say that it is truly a grind. Plus, the quests get a little too repetitive. Regardless, still a good game

I did it. It was fun and satisfying at the end but I was kinda sad at the end. currently working on Lego Star wars 3. Im normally also not the type of person to do 100% in games but lego star wars games always have been very comforting for me.
I have over 180 hours played on the game and have almost 100% it. I have all characters unlocked and bought, I have completed all the activities on every planet, I have every ship, and I have almost every minikit. I pretty much just have minkits and challenges to finish. Also I have been playing the game since it came out.

I got the game up to one hundred percent relatively soon after its release...and I have to admit that after that I had no incentive to play it again. Even now. When I think of Lego Star Wars games, Star Wars III The Clone Wars would be a lot more fun to replay than The Skywalker Saga.

I got the Galactic Edition for like 17 bucks a few months ago, and I'm very pleased with the game. Even with it's short comings, waiting for sales makes it feel much more worth it.
I 100% the skywalker saga and got the platinum and it’s one hell of a grind, it’s not hard to do but it makes you fall out of love with the game a bit just because of how repetitive everything gets, it’s still an amazing game and I do love it
I literally 100%ed this game the week it came out as i obviously preordered this after waiting 2 extra years for it to finally release, as was extremely delayed and absolutely loved it!!! Unfortunately as a platinum hunter and moving on to other games, I’ve never come back to it, even though it’s had DLC additions from the other films/shows.

I never played a lego game before and got this for free im a big starwars fan tho and looked at the dlc's a lot of them were also free and just for another 6 euro i had everything. Started playing and im enjoying the hell out of it what a amazing game i didnt expect it to be this fun i just ended the 5th movie now and actually cant stop playing
Personally I like playing lego games for the levels and TCS has some of the best levels in any lego game in my opinion, so when I finally played TSS and found that the focus is far more on the open world, an element I don't interact with much when I play lego games, and that the levels were more of just "what sequences can't we do in the open world?" I can't lie when I say I was pretty disappointed. Still love the game, but not nearly as much as the original
Technically, the game was free with xbox game pass for a decent time, maybe even a year or so. However, its awesome that ps players can have the same ability now :)
