    Hey I'm from Jamaica. I use to drink these all the time. Really enjoyed them too. You can try it with a sweet snack when it's been chilled, really cool. I haven't had one in a few years because it contains soy and I don't like the idea of consuming soy a lot. Before that it was one of my favorite drinks. That's the OG flavor but others are out now that are way better. Great channel, I'll definitely sub. Have a good one!

    • @azurda7483

    Hey Atomic Shrimp!
    This question isn't really about the video so I apologize.
    I think I'm going to try gardening, and you seem to have an interest in gardening. Do you have any tips for me to get started?

    • @AtomicShrimp
      @AtomicShrimp  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for asking - sure, just a few of tips to get you started...
      1: figure out what kind of garden you have - does it enjoy a lot of direct sun, or is it shaded by trees; is it generally dry, or very damp - is the soil fee draining and sandy, or heavy like clay? - once you've gathered some facts about your garden, choose plants that will enjoy those conditions - there are garden plants for almost any kind of environmental conditions, and choosing the right ones will help to ensure success.
      2: Make sure you plan in something that you will find rewarding in the short term - what I mean is: don't start by planting an acorn and waiting for an oak tree - well, actually, do that if you want to - but also grow some strawberries, or aromatic herbs, or sweet-smelling annual flowers - or whatever you think you might be able to enjoy, and feel proud about within a fairly short term.
      3: do the right thing for the time of year - assuming you're in the northern Hemisphere, it's getting a little late in the year to plant seeds, so pick things that *are* appropiate to plant now, such as live plants, spring-flowering bulbs, etc. Ask for specific advice on 'what can I plant now?' at a garden centre - you might not even need to ask, as many plan shops have seasonal displays

    • @crunchi6383

      Atomic Shrimp, I took your advice on gardening, and I am currently starting by growing indoors, because I live in an apartment. I am growing Basil, I am going to try to grow Alyssum, but it is a bit late to plant those, so I'm just going to hope it will grow, and tomorrow I'm going to plant Painted Daisy's! Thank you for your advice, and keep on making the great content you have been making!

    I saw Irish Moss and thought, oh, nice. Guinness. I like Guinness. My son calls it peat moss in a can though. Not too sure about the peanut thing. But I'll watch the video anyway because I like your content. Carry on.
    ETA: When you said it reminded you of something you were given for tonsilitis, I was immediately taken back to when I was 4 and had a kidney infection and had this wonderful stuff that I now know was penicillin in a suspension vaguely flavored with chocolate (this is a US version of maybe what you had). It was kept refrigerated and was supposed to be doled out four times a day. But I snuck sips any time I was alone in the kitchen. Suffice to say I apparently gave myself an overdose of antibiotics and ended up back in hospital and was told not to have any penicillin or related drugs. Not sure why as my mom is an inaccurate historian at best. But I've never dared try penicillin or any of its derivatives since just on the off chance I completely f-ed up my system as a child.

      @applegal3058 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was sick a lot as a kid and spent a lot of time on antibiotics. I remember drinking a banana flavoured antibiotic suspension that I absolutely loved! Luckily I did not overdose on it...I was a weird child and had impulse control that most kids didn't have I suppose, because that stuff was tasty and mom used to keep it in the fridge.
