My first game was giants. I’m playing through it again right now because we did some spring cleaning and I found my old massive collection of skylanders. I’m maining the giants and stealth elf. The only game I haven’t played or beat is spyros adventure. I did play the 3DS version but not the console version
@@shvelgudthere isn’t much replayability but i replay it nonetheless, it’s good to replay if you’re using characters you didn’t previously had, or doing upgrades paths you haven’t before. also if you’ve never done nightmare mode then that’s a good new way to play
Personally I love Gill grunt's b path. I had fun with the infinite hose, and if I remember correctly, the third upgrade allows you to spam exploding starfish and things out of it, which does massive damage. What a skylander he was.

Also, on every console but the wii, the console you're playing on, the second attack (skull charge) actually continuously attacks
Actually I think boomer's third attack is very good. You can basically run away and set a ton of bombs behind you waiting for enemies who are chasing you
Was just about to say this myself, personally I think it’s one of the most broken abilities in the game you can run away and spam bombs and the ai is so dumb that it runs in a straight line through every single bomb lol
Finally Cynder getting the recognition she deserves and her ghost path isn't that effective in ssa but future games your enemies will be slow when hit by ghosts
definitely, I prefer her secondary path, it requires a little set up but you're attacking while you setting up and if you do it right you can basically nuke the screen repeatedly.
Hey, nice video! You did a good job showcasing each skylander, which is really appreciated. That being said, if you dont mind theres a lot of notes and corrections I’d like to make. I know this video is quite old, but this is the top result when searching for ssa skylander tier lists behind the “what to buy” video. 1. Bash actually doesn’t have the highest damage, or even the fastest high damage attack in game. Rather, he’s the runner up with access to mobility. Instead, those honors actually go to Ignitor and Voodood. They’re notable enough that both individual skylanders are used for singular boss fights on the WR any% route of the game. Voodood is the optimal way to clear out multiple phases of the water boss fight, while Ignitor’s dps is so high you can defeat kaos in a single cycle. Behind them, Chop’s combo path and stealth elf’s damage paths have access to significantly higher dps than bash. I honestly love bash and still think he deserves bottom of S tier for the second or third most versatile skylander in the game IMO, but as damage goes he’s actually about 5th place or so. 2. Drill sergeant is actually tied for the highest in game mobility, next to ghost roaster. Ghost roaster is also used in the any% run as the speed option due to his ability to climb and clip over map barriers with his secondary. Once drill gets his upgrades i think he’s a lot better than he was given credit for (and your own footage backs that up imo) and ghost roaster’s secondary is so strong it makes him one of the strongest level clearers in the game. (Also, drill sergeant and earth skylanders can break the rocks in any pickaxe level. Not actually important but not a lot of people know about that.) 3. All flying characters and water characters freely fly around and skip water areas and similar. This js minor but i think worth noting since it lets you pretty much skip an entire level and parts of a couple others (if i remember correctly). 4. Stump smash and Boomer’s aoe damage is highly underrated here. Same goes for secondary path eruptor, all of which can clear entire rooms of enemies in a couple button presses. Becomes immensely useful in some stages. Boomer also has really understated single target in his bombs, so im not really sure why those were never mentioned. 5. Terrafin’s burrow makes him completely invincible in the first game. This is VERY important information to know since you can effectively cheese every boss in the game with the upgrades for his secondary and tertiary. 6. Not sure why this was never discussed for trigger happy, but the charge shot’s range is far enough that you can charge an attack and immediately hit almost every boss for half of their health using the maxed charge attack - enough to half everything up to the tech element boss. It lets you completely negate the time loss associated with fully charging your attack, since you havent been put at any risk for almost every fight. My only real biased objections would probably be flameslinger and hex, which IMO are way stronger than they are ranked (they are both about safe positioning for very good damage proportionally) as well as prism break who imo is not safe enough to be ranked so high thanks to the way his beam doesnt target the same way double trouble does and he lacks the mobility of hex and sunburn. I also just really like warnado’s tornado dps and his mobility, making him another very safe and high dps speed pick. I hope this information helps! And as i said i dont think this is a bad video, just missing some information which would help a lot more with passing judgement.
Whirlwind in Giants was disgustingly good. Retreating thunderclouds while flying gave her fantastic movement. I was able to solo Nightmare mode with her back in the day. Also based and red pilled.
There are two types of people: People who went down Sunburn's teleport path and think he's terrible People who went down Sunburn's flamethrower path and know he is GOD.
Dont get me wrong but..... eruptors vulcano path, once you buy his whole path, he becames one of the strongest close fight skylanders of the game, yeah, yeah, in the begining hes weak but, once you buy the vulcano path he becames much stronger.
I find both of Spyro’s paths so fun and useful to the point where, despite my very small collection, I still bought two Spyros to use both paths, plus I just like Spyro
Fun fact: In swap force (and I assume the games after, but I haven't checked), soul gems like Double Troubles and Stump Smashes are actually edited to make them more useful, as their original function no longer exists. Stump now heals in water elemental areas, and DT gains increased speed in them (while also being able to hover over hazards, though I don't actually know which hazards that means).
Wait that's actually sick, I had no idea. Not like you'd really use them outside their elemental zones anyway unless you're doing a challenge run or they're your favorite. Don't even know why they got rid of swimming in the first place, its technically in giants because of Pirate Seas, really confusing.
This is a fantastic video! I like how you actually ranked the Skylanders as unbiasedly as possible. You ranked them on how good they are as opposed to how fun they are. This is a fantastic video. Thank you for making. I would love to see this for all of the other Skylander games
That meme at 19:00 was a good in my opinion... I laughed at it for a few seconds. Also that meme at 29:26 made me feel sad and came close to making me shed a tear because he looks like a cute and cool Skylander on the surface and from gameplay footage, but multiple people complain about how he's not good in gameplay in the actual games.
Love most of the tier list but I think you did terra fin and camo dirty. Camo has insane CC and range along with his healing soul gem and sunbelt shielding. And terra fin is just like a weaker bash but has fast underground movement. I agree with all of the D tiers though, awesome video. Gave me a ton of nostalgia and now im going to buy an old 360 and play this game again
I remember the first time i played skylanders, it was during a friend's birthday party. We played pvp for a while and we all agreed about 15 minutes in, to ban drobot and bash because they were just so OP
Stump Smash was excellent in Giants, and it helps he has the most base health out of all the non-Giants, and all they had to do was give him a Wow Pow that makes his secondary go from one of the worst to one of the best attacks in the game
fun fact about chop chop's shield it can block certain stage hazards such as the spinning blades and if you time it right you can shield them without the shield taking damage
Ive spent way too much revisiting this game over the past week so I'm gonna give my rankings to make it worth it. Bash: S tier, great damage output and mobility, stone fist ability isn't great but it doesn't matter Boomer: B tier, decent spam character with good crowd control, none of his abilities are great but they're all serviceable Camo: A tier, just a good character overall, great main attack, vines are good with upgrades and so are watermelons Chop Chop: A tier, very simple but just a good sword character with probably my favorite combos of any character Cynder: S tier, pretty much an all purpose character, great for crowd control and also has a ton of mobility and dodging ability Dino Rang: B tier, has one of the more boring move sets but still a solid option for crowd control, stone trap is ass though Double Trouble: A tier, mainly due to the fact that his main attack is broken af, the clones are mid but the bomb attack is good too Drill Sergeant: C tier, starts off really bad but through upgrades main and secondary attack become decent, but he probably has the worst tertiary attack in the game Drobot: A tier, lasers aren't great to start but get really good through upgrades, secondary is fine and just overall a solid sky lander Eruptor: D tier, main attack sucks until the last few upgrades, secondary is good but immobilizes you, tertiary sucks, he's slow and just not fun to play Flameslinger: A tier, nothing about him is busted but just a really fun character to play with the flame dash and solid damage output Ghost Roaster: C tier, I know he gets a lot of shit but its for a reason, main attack sucks, secondary is really good, but then the tertiary literally does damage to you Gill Grunt: A tier, great range with his main attack, secondary is serviceable for crowd control and tertiary is also fun Hex: B tier, main and secondary attacks have some flaws but she has one of my favorite tertiaries in the game especially with the upgrade so bones deal damage Ignitor: A tier, honestly just like a slightly worse Chop Chop in my opinion but not enough for B tier Lightning Rod: C tier, main and tertiary attack kinda suck, secondary becomes really good through upgrade but immobilizes him which ticks it down Prism Break: A tier, not great to start but through upgrades becomes one of the most fun skylanders to play once you learn how to use him Slam Bam: S tier, not much to say, he's completely broken in this game and easily the best skylander in this game Sonic Boom: B tier, main attack gets pretty good through upgrades but not a fan of the secondary Spyro: B tier, main attack is pretty mediocre, but the secondary upgrade route is really good Stealth Elf: S tier, super fast and mobile, secondary sucks but everything else is fantastic Stump Smash: E tier, this guy is so ass, he's slow, main and tertiary are mid, secondary sucks and just not fun to play in general Sunburn: S tier, even though the secondary sucks the main attack is too busted to not be s tier Terrafin: A tier, main attack is pretty good but nothing crazy, but the secondary is super useful and fun Trigger Happy: S tier, the ultimate spam character, never been a fan of the secondary but main and tertiary are nuts Voodood: B tier, very solid skylander overall where every ability is useful Warnado: C tier, good mobility but not much else to say, not a fan Wham Shell: S tier, im biased because he's my favorite skylander but main attack and tertiary are amazing to me Whirlwind: C tier, I know a lot of people love this skylander but I've just never seen it Wrecking Ball: E tier, only reason he's not F is because its fun to fuck around with the secondary sometimes Zap: A tier, really good mobility and one of the few skylanders in this game where all his abilities compliment eachother Zook: B tier, he shoots a bazooka, that's about it
I can't believe you said double trouble's tertiary attack is bad. On the channeler path it does 65 damage 3 times in a row, and it's somewhat spammable. That's much faster than his eldritch beam, although it makes you a little more vulnerable since you can't move while doing the bombs.
I think you underestimate the combos in the game. Especially slam bam's and stump smash's, they're practically one of the most damaging attacks in the game and it's not like they're too difficult or even slow to pull off. It's why they're one of my favorite skylanders when going against mooks, not so much bosses though.
I just love wrecking ball alot and well 3rd attack you can get use out of but soul gem + toungue path makes him pretty great I gotta say and rolling around is always a decent option and I find drill sergeant somewhat op because of the drill path plus while 3rd attack is useless unless you want to hurt you fingers gotta say each attack is generally pretty good others great job
Listen, me as having my one and only favorite skylander terrafin have to say that when you eventually master all his gimics then you can come up with strategies that no enemy can escape from which makes him the strongest of S tier. My sister helped me with this experiment. She fought all the og skylanders one by one against terrafin who I was playing as and terrafin dominated everyone. And it eventually went on to giants, swap force, trap team, superchargers, sensais and no a single loss. That's why they call him the undefeated boxing champion.
FINALLY! A Skylander ranking I can (mostly) agree with! I'll definitely be going back to this game and replaying some of these guys after hearing your thoughts on them. But I need to understand 1 thing... Whirlwind? I'm always hearing how great she is but from what I can tell, her main attack is just average, secondary I understand why it's good, and flight is useless unless it's Drobot. Not to mention that if you're playing solo, her soul gem is useless. What am I missing? Again though, great video my friend.
The secondary attack melts bosses and the primary attack is really strong and is a lob, which is really good in SSA specifically. Also just because I’m solo doesn’t mean everyone will be, and she has one of the best soul gems in the game.
dino rang beside having a not so fun skill set, he has the best armor in the game and good healt + he can erase projectiles with his boomerangs, that makes him the tankies of the starters so id move him up abit
Wtf are you talking about terrafin is literally one of the best skylanders he is literally invincible and when he comes up above he deals crazy damage. You could easily take on boss battles
I know this was made a long time ago but I really wish that you would have said what each Skylander's abilities were and maybe their upgrade paths and soul gems. It's a lot but it would have felt really professional.
camos other path is like insanely better than the vines, the watermelons centered oneshot everything in the game with one button press and you get invincibility, the vines comparably do so little damage for just some splash range you cant control that well
Double trouble is S tier DPS higher than bashes by far on primary attack Easily clears waves of enemies Secondary attack is a good ranged option And tertiary attack even outdamages the primary attack of you have the top path upgrade in a somewhat large area
i agree eruptor got the short end of the lava stick, but he isn't all bad his moves just can't decide what he is good at primary: DPS secondary: AoE Third: projectile? ranged? utility? so he sucks at one thing, but when you use him as a whole he's pretty decent
I played the entire game with just trigger happy. If you lean into the charge attack, it can be really effective. It can one shot pretty much anything in the entire game. Not as good as drobot, but drobot is really overpowered.
skylanders giants video would be a nice addition to have on your channel. It would make me very sad if you did not make this video on this very date in which I am posting this. ;)
Stealth Elf and Chop Chop are very overrated, and Wrecking Ball is underrated. Sure his soul gem sounds better than it really is, but he didn't deserve to be at the bottom with Eruptor
Now I know you didn't roast my boy wrecking ball like that, the base one is pretty trash but the one in giants is busted. He at least deserves something for only existing for the first two games and never being being mentioned again outside one shitty side game outfit for easter
Alright, so I'm just going to give my personal opinion on some skylanders if only I think it's interesting, so you can see a different one than Dymnastia's, this comment could get updated anytime if I have something to say. Camo : I feel like Dymnastia sleeps a lot on Camo's tertiary attack. Dymnastia, if you see this comment and haven't done that already, I recommend you try his second attack path. Because yes, is tertiary attack is very bad on its normal form, but after it has all of his upgrades, it does a lot of damage, and has invincibility before attacking, which means it's very good against everything that runs at you, because if you time the attack right, you'll invincibility through the hit and make a ton of damage. And while it makes Camo maybe a bit worse on PVE sections, it makes him very good on his own niche, on bosses such as litteraly every boss on Giants, or Wolfgang on Trap Team. Cynder : Also, can we talk about her flight ? Because for some reason, it just feels so much better to control than most others ! I don't know if that's the only one, but Cynder turns instantly on her flight, probably because her main attack literally slows her down, so it's actually very viable to be flying the entire time, especially when you compare it to other flights, and yes, I am directly looking at you, Spyro ! Also, I know we are not in the Giants video, but seriously, don't buy the series 2 Wow Pow. Not only is it expensive, but you lose the possibility to do your very fast movement option directly from the flying state, which is very decent for getting out of danger and moving around, to an attack that's not that strong and that exposes you way to much for being used, especially for a Zoner like Cynder, it almost feels like a laggy melee attack. Spyro : I don't think that Spyro is worse than Double trouble on bosses. Because, yes, technically, on normal bosses, he would be, but I believe that being a skylander that can run away and has good projectile coverage at once makes you very good against all the Kaos fights, except for the final boss, because you need to damage him, but still. On all the other kaos's bossfights, it's you against an evil Skylander recreation, with a massive arena, and so, with Spyro, you can just slowly camp them out. And if you have selected the fireball path, he's also good when Kaos spawns the three enemies at the same time, because you can just hit all of them at once. Stealth Elf : You may have wondered, in the Giants video, why dymnastia completely killed Bash but also didn't move Stealth Elf at all. And honestly, even though he didn't really talk about it, I can understand why he did this. Stealth Elf just doesn't care, because with her mobility, and with her secondary attack, she can just manipulate the enemies like she wants too, and kill them very fast thanks to her damage output. Now obviously, it isn't very ''free'', especially compared to the projectile skylanders, but I feel like Stealth Elf is still interesting enough to belong in S tier, mainly thanks to her N°1 getting out of danger ability, and her auto regen.
this is based around just SSA, she's probably too low for this game, the secondary and tertiary attacks are useless, but the primary attack is better than some of the things in C
You’re not playing eruptor right, his eruption path makes him a lot better. As for drill sergeant, either you’re not hold down the third attack while using other attacks, or you have a skill issue
I did, and I also forgot to mention that Drill Sergeant can break cracked rocks, doesn’t really effect their ranking too much but does give them some points
Lightning rod cannot walk on water I was surprised too when I found this out try again Go to the hub go to the beach and you will find out that lightning rod cannot walk on water I think we all just Mandela ourselves to thinking that
Regarding Spyro's Face...Skylander's 1 Yes Spyro looks pretty ugly. Though I'd say as time went on Spyro's design improved. Spyro in Academy looks pretty good.
id say terrafin is the #1 skylander. his DPS is probably the highest in the game, its AOE and hes tanky. movement underground is fast and being invinceble while being underground is also very good
my S-tiers (as in favourites) are Camo, Spyro, Zap and Sunburn. it's simple: i love dragons, and i love ranged attacks - specifically breath attacks. Camo's the first skylander that caught my attention other than Spyro. he alone tempted me to but the game back in 2011... but i wasn't going to tell my parents to buy a whole console just for one game (i had the Wii, but i didn't notice until MUCH later). i chose the Melon Master path. Camo already has range with his Sun Burst, so i decided to cover his weakness of melee range. i'm one to cover weaknesses; balance the stats as best i can. so anyway i played Camo in Trap Team (i started my career as a Portal Master with that game)... he was a whole load of explosive fun! shooting enemies and obliterating them with Sun Burst is just satisfying. Spyro... i've seen gameplay of him in Dawn of the Dragon (DS version) from a friend. Skylanders was as close to a Spyro game as i could get. and Spyro himself is a BEAST! even with Camo, i defaulted to Spyro when it came to projectile firepower: 3 fireballs at a time, the Exploding Fireblast upgrade is awesome... but the Daybringer Flame is just excellent. i chose the Sheep Burner path so i can incinerate my enemies! with Legendary Spyro i only went as far as the basic upgrades, minus the Triple Flameballs upgrade. sometimes, i only need one projectile to set my target ablaze. Zap's a case of my liking of crests, espescially from creatures that fly or swim. and in terms of gameplay, he packs a shocker of a punch! (not sorry) his Lightning Breath isn't exactly what i expected... but boy is it fun! blasting enemies with fast-moving projectiles is a lot of fun. and the Tesla Dragon path - which i chose - is one of the most fun paths to take: fast-moving *large* projectiles that can ricochet off walls and electrify the sea slime trail you left behind, stunning whoever steps in it. Zap is as fast as he is fun. Sunburn's the dragon i hoped i'd see: an actual fire-breather. Spyro spits fireballs; and while that's technically breathing fire, i refer to streams of fire, not fireballs. and Sunburn fits the bill with a perfect score-ch! (again, not sorry) if Spyro was the definition of "incineration," Sunburn's the definition of *"conflagration"!* if Spyro was a beast, this Phoenix-Dragon hybrid is a *MONSTER!* you choose the Blaze Dragon path - like i did, and one Flamethrower Breath is all you need to turn your enemies to ash. and the Infinite Flame upgrade is personally one of the best upgrades in the game. a fully upgraded Blaze Dragon path Sunburn is a menace that can send you to a fiery oblivion with just a single breath. and it. is. FUN! *fun fact:* those 4 skylanders alone carried me all the way through Spyro's Adventure up until Kaos (final boss). it's only after i got Bash that i defeated him - with Spyro. i wanted to end the game thematically. now then, may i make a suggestion? how about making a tier list about skylanders that work perfectly as a duo?
these aren’t OBJECTIVE S-Tiers, but those are some great skylanders. My personal favorite from these is probably Spyro, mostly because I don’t have Camo lol
@@V1atic i know they're not objective; i said "my S-tiers", as in the Skylanders that are my favourites. i guess i didn't make it clear enough. alright, i've edited my comment.
stealth elf is way better than bash especially in giants. Lightning rod in ssa is probably high S tier (although hes not great in giants) because his secondary attack just does retarded amounts of damage at a massive range. Cynder is actually a skylander I hear a lot of bad things about but shes really good in ssa and is probably the single best character in giants because of her insane burst and mobility. Placing hex in the D tier is a crime too, although she really shines in giants shes not bad at all in ssa. voodood is just a stronger ignitor too, He literally does more damage and has mobility and stronger combos (and chop chop is the improved version of both of them).
Ok im doing a self imposed challenge im going to beat kaos in ssa with every skylander it can be on either path i pick so far Wrecking ball on his spinner path did it in 2 try's Terrafin on his sand hog path did it in his first try Hex on her bone path did it on her first try.
I'm sorry, but Hex and Eruptor not being S-tier is criminal. I can't speak too much on story mode, but I know they're both animals in PVP. Hex is unbeatable if a Skylander isn't quick with her flying skulls, and Eruptor can instantly end the match if he gets close to his prey
@@Dymastia Maybe more testing would need to be done in a highly competitive environment with more players, since it was only my dad and I that would spend hours doing 1v1.

Also the list is trash as hell
Very true it was supposed to be a spyro revamp
Iirc they intended the dragons to be the “masters” of each element

Dont get me wrong but..... eruptors vulcano path, once you buy his whole path, he becames one of the strongest close fight skylanders of the game, yeah, yeah, in the begining hes weak but, once you buy the vulcano path he becames much stronger.
I find both of Spyro’s paths so fun and useful to the point where, despite my very small collection, I still bought two Spyros to use both paths, plus I just like Spyro
I absolutely love this video! You didn’t let nostalgia get in the way of your rankings and you were completely fair. Definitely subscribing
I definitely let nostalgia get in the way, whirlwind and bash probably wouldn’t be number 1 and 2 if it wasn’t for that, they’d still be S tier tho.
@@Dymastia that may be so but still the rest of the list seems like it is ranked fairly. Take the complement XD
Really great video! It's so interesting to see their actual gameplay and paths compared, lots of great info!
Camo’s 3rd attack is overpowered asf
This is a fantastic video! I like how you actually ranked the Skylanders as unbiasedly as possible. You ranked them on how good they are as opposed to how fun they are. This is a fantastic video. Thank you for making. I would love to see this for all of the other Skylander games
He said he tried both paths but he went bad path on zoom and eruptor which is very unfair
I am here for the Drobot respect. Always been my favorite skylander since day 1
Yeah, he's like the ONLY Skylander that has a satisfying flight.
@@aesiro1336 it was the opposite for me until I got the after burner upgrade, I hated how his flight was virtually controllable
Drobot going instantly into S tier put a smile on my face. Dudes been the goat from the tech element along with trigger happy
Stump Smash was excellent in Giants, and it helps he has the most base health out of all the non-Giants, and all they had to do was give him a Wow Pow that makes his secondary go from one of the worst to one of the best attacks in the game
Wait your a Skylanders fan??
@@ducky2052 a few years ago lol
@@GNVS300Agreed! one of the best Skylanders in General, High stats in all but Speed (hats can literally fix that)
fun fact about chop chop's shield it can block certain stage hazards such as the spinning blades and if you time it right you can shield them without the shield taking damage
Trigger Happy is literally 'Don't Stop Me Now' personified
Spyro is my favorite skylander of all time I always use him
This list would be almost completely different if it was all based on character design…
Ive spent way too much revisiting this game over the past week so I'm gonna give my rankings to make it worth it.
Bash: S tier, great damage output and mobility, stone fist ability isn't great but it doesn't matter
Boomer: B tier, decent spam character with good crowd control, none of his abilities are great but they're all serviceable
Camo: A tier, just a good character overall, great main attack, vines are good with upgrades and so are watermelons
Chop Chop: A tier, very simple but just a good sword character with probably my favorite combos of any character
Cynder: S tier, pretty much an all purpose character, great for crowd control and also has a ton of mobility and dodging ability
Dino Rang: B tier, has one of the more boring move sets but still a solid option for crowd control, stone trap is ass though
Double Trouble: A tier, mainly due to the fact that his main attack is broken af, the clones are mid but the bomb attack is good too
Drill Sergeant: C tier, starts off really bad but through upgrades main and secondary attack become decent, but he probably has the worst tertiary attack in the game
Drobot: A tier, lasers aren't great to start but get really good through upgrades, secondary is fine and just overall a solid sky lander
Eruptor: D tier, main attack sucks until the last few upgrades, secondary is good but immobilizes you, tertiary sucks, he's slow and just not fun to play
Flameslinger: A tier, nothing about him is busted but just a really fun character to play with the flame dash and solid damage output
Ghost Roaster: C tier, I know he gets a lot of shit but its for a reason, main attack sucks, secondary is really good, but then the tertiary literally does damage to you
Gill Grunt: A tier, great range with his main attack, secondary is serviceable for crowd control and tertiary is also fun
Hex: B tier, main and secondary attacks have some flaws but she has one of my favorite tertiaries in the game especially with the upgrade so bones deal damage
Ignitor: A tier, honestly just like a slightly worse Chop Chop in my opinion but not enough for B tier
Lightning Rod: C tier, main and tertiary attack kinda suck, secondary becomes really good through upgrade but immobilizes him which ticks it down
Prism Break: A tier, not great to start but through upgrades becomes one of the most fun skylanders to play once you learn how to use him
Slam Bam: S tier, not much to say, he's completely broken in this game and easily the best skylander in this game
Sonic Boom: B tier, main attack gets pretty good through upgrades but not a fan of the secondary
Spyro: B tier, main attack is pretty mediocre, but the secondary upgrade route is really good
Stealth Elf: S tier, super fast and mobile, secondary sucks but everything else is fantastic
Stump Smash: E tier, this guy is so ass, he's slow, main and tertiary are mid, secondary sucks and just not fun to play in general
Sunburn: S tier, even though the secondary sucks the main attack is too busted to not be s tier
Terrafin: A tier, main attack is pretty good but nothing crazy, but the secondary is super useful and fun
Trigger Happy: S tier, the ultimate spam character, never been a fan of the secondary but main and tertiary are nuts
Voodood: B tier, very solid skylander overall where every ability is useful
Warnado: C tier, good mobility but not much else to say, not a fan
Wham Shell: S tier, im biased because he's my favorite skylander but main attack and tertiary are amazing to me
Whirlwind: C tier, I know a lot of people love this skylander but I've just never seen it
Wrecking Ball: E tier, only reason he's not F is because its fun to fuck around with the secondary sometimes
Zap: A tier, really good mobility and one of the few skylanders in this game where all his abilities compliment eachother
Zook: B tier, he shoots a bazooka, that's about it
I can't believe you said double trouble's tertiary attack is bad.
Not sure if it's a thing in Spyro's Adventure, but Zook can be basically invulnerable due to his secondary taunting enemies.
I still remember Prism Break being the first lander I ever used in Giants.
He was fun.
Even though Drill Sergeant is weak it’s still my favorite.
Tbh I think Boomer belongs to S, spamming the bombs behind him is quite strong
Most OP tactic in the game easily
Your content is very high quality. good job
I was busy with my life so much that i missed to see the tenth anniversary...
Enjoyed the video a lot, hope you will make a sequel at some point. keep up the good work.
Drill sergeant is good
He doesn’t do a ton of damage, but he has a lot of health, is fast with his second attack, and can space out things well
dino rang beside having a not so fun skill set, he has the best armor in the game and good healt + he can erase projectiles with his boomerangs, that makes him the tankies of the starters so id move him up abit
I haven’t played this game in probably 10 years but that mf was my go to. Boomerangs were nuts. He’s still up in my attic somewhere lol
My favourites are drill sergeant, trigger happy and chop coo
Chop chop
With sonic boom you don't rely on the AI to most of the damage, you spam eggs, just spam and they do massive amounts of damage
that's true but that's also the problem, the primary attack is just way better as a spam attack
Wtf are you talking about terrafin is literally one of the best skylanders he is literally invincible and when he comes up above he deals crazy damage. You could easily take on boss battles
lololo i thought i was the only one
I know this was made a long time ago but I really wish that you would have said what each Skylander's abilities were and maybe their upgrade paths and soul gems. It's a lot but it would have felt really professional.
I love zook and wham shell they were the first two skylanders i ever saw
Actually it’s a good list great job
camos other path is like insanely better than the vines, the watermelons centered oneshot everything in the game with one button press and you get invincibility, the vines comparably do so little damage for just some splash range you cant control that well
Double trouble is S tier
DPS higher than bashes by far on primary attack
Easily clears waves of enemies
Secondary attack is a good ranged option
And tertiary attack even outdamages the primary attack of you have the top path upgrade in a somewhat large area
i agree eruptor got the short end of the lava stick, but he isn't all bad
his moves just can't decide what he is good at
primary: DPS
secondary: AoE
Third: projectile? ranged? utility?
so he sucks at one thing, but when you use him as a whole he's pretty decent
I played the entire game with just trigger happy. If you lean into the charge attack, it can be really effective. It can one shot pretty much anything in the entire game. Not as good as drobot, but drobot is really overpowered.
I saw Bash at the top of S-tier, I instantly agree
Wrecking roll was my first skylander ever
Flame slinger was my favourite Skylander
He's the best for speedruns apparently
Bash is the man/drake for everything. Also my first skylamder i got
It's the first one I saw, which is why I like him a lot
Voodood was literally my favorite character lol
skylanders giants video would be a nice addition to have on your channel. It would make me very sad if you did not make this video on this very date in which I am posting this. ;)
DOUBLE TROUBLE IS HANDSOME
Stealth Elf and Chop Chop are very overrated, and Wrecking Ball is underrated. Sure his soul gem sounds better than it really is, but he didn't deserve to be at the bottom with Eruptor
Now I know you didn't roast my boy wrecking ball like that, the base one is pretty trash but the one in giants is busted. He at least deserves something for only existing for the first two games and never being being mentioned again outside one shitty side game outfit for easter
Why is he better in Giants? Because of his Wow Pow upgrade?
You’re wild for drill Sargent in C
Chop chop is my fav still but I unfortunately lost him years ago 😢
Spy to in A? What? He’s spyro! Gaming icon! Og gaming mascot!
Stealth elf my favorite skylander I remember when I simped for her 😂😂😂
Nahhh, Hex is at least high b-tier, at least in the later games imo
this is based around just SSA, she's probably too low for this game, the secondary and tertiary attacks are useless, but the primary attack is better than some of the things in C
You’re not playing eruptor right, his eruption path makes him a lot better. As for drill sergeant, either you’re not hold down the third attack while using other attacks, or you have a skill issue
But zook can throw the pinapple?
I feel the same about warnado
i made exactly ONE skylanders video youtube just because i watch every single one you recommend me DOES NOT MEAN IM HAPPY ABOUT IT
I wish spyro had other kind of shots as a third attack instead of just....fly
I think you forgot to mention that prism break actually breaks rocks and crystals in the mine level.
I did, and I also forgot to mention that Drill Sergeant can break cracked rocks, doesn’t really effect their ranking too much but does give them some points
@@Dymastia guess I’m blind lol, fair enough!
@@BrokenDesktop no I mean “I did” as in I forgot, you were right. Sorry for the confusion
@@Dymastia np, I confuse people all the time lol
Bash's upgrade paths are great
Lightning rod cannot walk on water I was surprised too when I found this out try again Go to the hub go to the beach and you will find out that lightning rod cannot walk on water I think we all just Mandela ourselves to thinking that
8:43 me being a eruptor fan : 🥲
His second path is really powerful
At the start He is weak
At the end He is really strong
Regarding Spyro's Face...Skylander's 1 Yes Spyro looks pretty ugly.
Though I'd say as time went on Spyro's design improved.
Spyro in Academy looks pretty good.
I don't find Hex so bad, but i can't compare her to other undead Skylanders for a check cuz she's my only skull guy :(
I like boomers bomb attack in my most recent playthru I just spammed it if I was lay being chased lol it help against the arkayen robots
id say terrafin is the #1 skylander. his DPS is probably the highest in the game, its AOE and hes tanky. movement underground is fast and being invinceble while being underground is also very good
idk about dps but yea thats why im here as a kid i always remember just being invincible underground lolol
I disagree with bash being S tier just because of how ridiculously OP drobot and stealth elf are compared to the rest of the roster
Chop chop.
End of debate
my S-tiers (as in favourites) are Camo, Spyro, Zap and Sunburn.
it's simple: i love dragons, and i love ranged attacks - specifically breath attacks.
(not sorry)
his Lightning Breath isn't exactly what i expected... but boy is it fun! blasting enemies with fast-moving projectiles is a lot of fun. and the Tesla Dragon path - which i chose - is one of the most fun paths to take: fast-moving *large* projectiles that can ricochet off walls and electrify the sea slime trail you left behind, stunning whoever steps in it.
(again, not sorry)
if Spyro was the definition of "incineration," Sunburn's the definition of *"conflagration"!*
if Spyro was a beast, this Phoenix-Dragon hybrid is a *MONSTER!*
you choose the Blaze Dragon path - like i did, and one Flamethrower Breath is all you need to turn your enemies to ash. and the Infinite Flame upgrade is personally one of the best upgrades in the game.
a fully upgraded Blaze Dragon path Sunburn is a menace that can send you to a fiery oblivion with just a single breath. and it. is.

@@Dymastia thanks a lot I didn't have any other ideas for a video so yea thanks a lot
Same goes for PlayStation 3 he can't walk on water either specifically lightning rod
My poor eruptor
stealth elf is way better than bash especially in giants.
Where is double trouble
Ok im doing a self imposed challenge im going to beat kaos in ssa with every skylander it can be on either path i pick so far
Wrecking ball on his spinner path did it in 2 try's
Terrafin on his sand hog path did it in his first try
Hex on her bone path did it on her first try.
Drobot is the best. The character looks good and it is the most powerful Skylander of SSA
I was able to one shot a boss in giants with double trouble
Rank the skylanders from the other games, like rank the skylanders in giants, then swap force, then trap team and so on
Boy do I have good news for you
Oh wait sorry I thought you said something else
I'm sorry, but Hex and Eruptor not being S-tier is criminal. I can't speak too much on story mode, but I know they're both animals in PVP. Hex is unbeatable if a Skylander isn't quick with her flying skulls, and Eruptor can instantly end the match if he gets close to his prey
Not to familiar with the PVP all I remember is Drobot and Slam Bam being really good, don’t really remember Hex and Eruptor being stand out
@@Dymastia Maybe more testing would need to be done in a highly competitive environment with more players, since it was only my dad and I that would spend hours doing 1v1.
Man this list is based as fuck
in 1v1 (skylander vs skylander) terrafin is one of the strongest skylanders
Not this misstreatment to hex 😩
Voodood is my favorite. TwT
Hex is my personal favourite 😅
