Hahaha, the zoom in to Questing Beast's block of text was terrific. Feather, one of those rare cards that both creates an archetype in 60 card formats and creates an archetype in commander.
I haven't played Arena since Alchemy was released, but I still watch every single one of your videos. Quite simply the best MTG deckbuilding/gameplay content on the platform. Keep up the remarkable work!!
Lmfao I love the thumbnail! I can't believe that movie is over 20 years old! The humor and vibes bring the people in, but your intelligence and calm attitude keep them coming back for more 😄
I have lots of Boros/Illuminator Virtuoso hate in Standard right now, but you make it look like fun in Explorer! Thanks for the great content as always!
Usually I dont watch Explorer gameplays, but Feather was one of the greatest deck I played on Arena and enjoyed the most, so I'm very happy that my preferred TH-camr plays it :)
I really love the prevalence of Reckless Rage. I kind of assumed that it had been forgotten about, but tbh maybe I just wasn't aware of the meta enough to know how much it was used in the first place. Either way I love seeing it be used so well, it's just so flexible so it's cool seeing it in so many different archetypes.
Pioneer sure has some staple cards, you see a strong meta so far. So many of the same cards gets old. But I'm still interested in the format and getting into it more
holy shit smokes legends on top of legends mixed in with the crows of the gladiator? My man must be the messiah or this deck must be gods gift... How do i get entertained???
Wow, being able to play a 18 lands deck and draw the perfect 3 lands in every. single. game would make me feel like blessed by the Gods What is your secret, boss?
@@LegenVD haha! to the point! Thank you for the reply! I was wondering about the vindicator. I remember Ravnica, and it always seems like Vindicator *should* be good, but was too slow in an actual game. Thanks again!
@@eckroattheeckroat4246 Don't get me wrong those are nice abilities, but +1/+1 counters and card selection are just more valuable. Damage adds up so quickly and you're still left with a huger threat once you run out of pump spells.
@@LegenVD I wait the most for your Historic Brawl decks, and I try to copy them card by card! Because I find them to be the best version of what I built! Sadly there are always some rare card that I miss, so I make some replacement. Keep up the good work Luca, you are my favourite MTG content creator by far!
Domris ambush would probably be the better splash but I don't think you need it. This deck really needs good mana so getting screwed over by drawing the wrong lands really hurts.
Between Arcanist, Feather and all the cantrips the deck usually doesn't lack card draw effects. However in a BO3 setting I could see it being good vs more controlling strategies.
In that first game, since you were planning on using God's Willing for the connive anyway, I think you could cast Reckless Rage targeting Virtuoso and Valkyrie, hold priority and then cast God's Willing on Virtuoso naming Red so it doesn't die. Gives you an extra connive that way.
@@LegenVD I mean the part where the companion's unplayable because of Feather. I mean I know how they work, they were relatively prominent when they caused the first magic apocalypse in over 25 years lol
@@LegenVD Ah, it's no biggie lol. I just noticed that with not only yours but several other lists when I picked that deck up coincidentally yesterday. Looked like people are just brainlessly copying some featherless boros aggro lists. Appreciate the response, this deck goes hard.
Thumbnails are the stuff of Legend, literally
These secret lair cards are getting out of hand

Agree. Definitely love the zoom in on the text. One of Questing Beast's hundred abilities.
You are killing it lately. Great decks, awesome thumbnails, fun gameplay, and as usual, masterful presentation. Thanks bro.
I just started watching you again, and let me just say your editing and playing quality is still amazing!
i very much second that. randomly got one of his videos a few weeks back. now look at me back into arena.

Your videos are so relaxing. Perfect way to wind down after a stressful day!
Definitely a creative build! Glad you featured feather, it's one of my favorite cards. Nice build as always!
Incredible variety and skill from you and your brews recently LVD, excellent content! Thankyou so much, keep up the good work 👍
Much appreciated!

I know others have said it but the zoom in on Questing Beast's text was comical 😂
Smooth gameplay and commentary. One of if not the best MTG channel out there
Yep, the only one I'm still subscribed to... I love above all how much NOT poochied-up it is
I come and go because MTG can’t keep my attention but you always are the one to bring me back! Everything is top notch. Good job

Glad you enjoy it!

Glorious thumbnail. Despite not really liking feather, you sure are entertaining to watch 👌
LVD has the best thumbnails in the multiverse. This one of Russell Crowe really provides a lot of value.
Reminds me of your budget kiln fiend deck. Temur battle rage is a nice addition to that deck for another double power spell plus trample
29:43 when opponent plays a single land and Legend immediately knew the entire deck had me rolling
I love this style of deck
Me scrolling through related videos and seeing the thumbnail: I am not entertained..
Me clicking on the thumbnail: I am now entertained!
That first game was brutal!
My favorite movie!
Wonderful video!
I love the way Luca pronounces virtuoso, I don't know why but I had to say it.
The one in best of one!
Man saw the title and thought it was gonna be a gladiator deck!
I love the thumbnail! xD

It’s diverse enough to keep things interesting.
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED!?!?!?!
why yes I am thank you for asking :D
Ive seen at least 50 lvd videos, i'm not sure if i have seen him lose 10 times in those videos always 7-0 8-0. Jeez man damn good!!

I mean show of confidence with virtuoso works great
Is the Illuminator Virtuoso just strictly better than Swiftblade Vindicator? Is connive that much better than trample + vigilance?
Yes.

From the thumbnail I thought this was gonna be a gladiator deck lol
Do you mind when people net deck your decks? I always find your decks fun to play. They are usually consistent!
Most of these Explorer decks are known quantities, but I'm always flattered when someone picks up one of my brews.

whats with the nissa avatar in match 1
That's Lae'zel, not Nissa.
Any reason as to why yours and several others' decklists on MTGdecks list Jegantha as a card in the sideboard? Or is that just some inside joke?
Companions always end up in the sideboard, because that's how it works in paper.
