4:35 I wouldn't try jump-starting another car. The 12v battery in an EV doesn't have the amperage to crank a starter motor. It's not so much a standard car battery but rather more like the Uninterruptible Power Supply that you'd plug an office computer into. That's the entire job of an EV's 12 volt battery, after all: To keep the onboard computer alive and in standby mode. The terminals there are for you to plug a jump-starter _into,_ in case the 12v battery died and you need to bring the computer back to life long enough the engage the high-voltage traction battery to recharge the 12 volt system.
Hate this car! I was given it as a rental while my wife’s Lexus was in the shop. First, it’s way too jerky. The breaking is terrible. As it is also very jerky. But the biggest issue is the damn doors. You barely close these things and it’s like slamming metal to metal. This is in no way what a luxury BMW should sound like. It’s crazy. Thankfully, this is a rental because there’s no way in hell. I’d keep this thing.
I think the BC stands for "Board Computer" which is very anachronistic :D
How do you take the plastic off the rims?? Looks way better off…
Great car, i rented it for 19 days recently in California, range was 340 mi @ 95%
You have to kick in and take your feet out quick not swipe for the trunk to open

Thanks so much! Just got my car and definitely learned some tricks and tips. Like the window one.
Does BMW routinely update your computer? If so, does BMW charge you for each upgrade?
1) Yes
2) No
Why don't u say what trim if it's a 35 or not
When he mentions the 83 kwh battery capacity, this suggests it's an E40. The E35 has less than 80.
My first electric car and I love it! ❤
This car is really fast as well 😎

@@ProtectiveDadPranks I test drove a 2025 i4 e40 recently and felt the same way as far as jerkiness. My question is that a deal breaker?
@ - I liked most things but the doors were a head scratcher for me. How they slam so loud on a luxury vehicle gets me?
Si possono comprare i copricerchi di plastica aftermarket per ridurrr i consumi sui 17''?
