I met Gary in 1968 during a concert of the Imperials. The 1st song they sang was "Keep on Holding to those nail-scarred hands." Recently I found the vinyl record of that concert & Gary's voice is just as clear as can be.
He is in Beulah land singing now. It's Father's Day 2021 & he is missed alot but great is his reward. I'm sure he heard the Lord say, well done though good & faithful servant. See you soon.
Gosto muito da voz do Gary. Espero que um dia possamos cantar juntos no céu. I really like Gary's voice. I hope that one day we can sing together in heaven.
He was not only my beloved Pastor, but also my dear friend. What a great man of God he was. He will always be greatly missed.
What a blessing he was, my wife and I were blessed to call him our Pastor

God has richly blessed you, Bro. McSpaden. You are really missed.
Great man and singer. He had a heart of love and was a great minister and pastor. So sad he is gone; but he would not trade places with us today.
We miss you brother, McSpadden. We will see you soon.
I love this song -- God blessed Pastor McSpadden with the gift of being a spiritual leader as well as a good singer!
Gary had his own special style of singing, I am so thankful I got to hear him sing live several time when he was touring. RIP
Gary our brother, we’ll miss you...
Today he's in Beulah Land :)
RIP Psalmist!
