Never heard of Choir Choir Choir till they performed at a work conference I went to last week. I feel richer for having seen them, as Gord Downie would say.
came here after watching their documentary. my sister met her partner at CCC when they were singing at Clinton's in Toronto the Hip were my bar band in Kingston when I was at Queen's 84-87. Went to the Manor to see them on a week nite. there were like 8 of us in the room and i was the only one dancing. danced my face off while the band slayed. Gord doing the funky chicken on the floor. They always gave each show their all. Thank you guys :)
03:38 ... It's clearly evident that Gord's spiritual essence was being divinely channeled through that angelic Grandmother (in royal blue) belting out "I'M TOTAL PRO HERE!! So beautiful and powerful to see and hear Gord's radiant light shining brightly through everyone in glory ... and with grace, too.
One of my favourite renditions of one of the coolest Hip songs ever. You captured the spirit of that song and killed it. Rob and Johnny's faces show that they approve.
Holy shit! I didn't expect it to hit me the way it did. I was just in it to hear a choir sing The Tragically Hip. I certainly did not expect the flood of emotions that poured out of me. Fun fact... It is hard as Hell to drive when you can't stop crying.
I was there and sang together but the higher part was too high for my low voice. I waited behind the stage and luckily got autographs from Rob and Jonny on my Hipeponymous!🥰
Having just watched Paul Langlois' performance on his step in honour of Snowbird, Jenn Casey, make me remember how much we also miss Gord. Wouldn't it be great during covid to have The Hip still around to comfort us.
I should not have watched that at work... dusty in here... must be the files... or something. Today it's been a year... feels like no time has passed but it's also been an eternity... miss you Gord.
Baker has more swagger than most guitarists. Always admired that. Too bad in this video people were focused on their cell phones a lot of the time. Must have been a magical moment
@ 4:26 it sounded like it was a call out to Gord. Then @ 4:50 "Louder! Go Go!" - Gave me Chills. Did anyone else notice that not many ppl needed the lyrics - young or old?
I was thinking that yeah this would be amazing to be able to be there and perform but how awesome is it fir the guys from the band to hear this. Phenomenal
Yup. Teared up as bad as I did the last time I saw them, and was front row. Seeing my favorite band since I was 12 that close was so surreal. Wrote a bit for "Museum After Dark" which is a lyric/fan site about the experience. I was able to experience this poet 4 times, and still listen to The Hip once a week or more
I have American friends in Buffalo who have probably seen the Hip more than most of us up here. If you love them, it's irrelevant where you're from. Just enjoy them.
Brings Tears to the Eyes …. Thank You Gord Downie for making the World a better place with your presence
This is the real Canadian National Anthem
Never heard of Choir Choir Choir till they performed at a work conference I went to last week. I feel richer for having seen them, as Gord Downie would say.

I know bro. Same here...
I was cutting onions

I'm still not crying, Yes we are...

Chills...tears...and smiles here! RIP Gordon from Buffalo NY.
Canadians do really know how to make things special. God bless you all, you’re great country and The Tragically Hip. You were amazing.

I consider myself very fortunate to have seen the Hip live twice. Their music will always be a part of my life.
...damn onions...I miss Gord so much. I'm glad the boys are still doing stuff like this.
Grown man here saw his last show in Ottawa with a male friend of mine, and we both cried our eyes out. Always will love them. 4:20 Gordie

For you Gord... Thx CCC

You gave back to the boys. You all comforted them. You can see and know you helped Robbie and Johnny well done!
As a Canadian ... should be more views.
I should not have watched that at work... dusty in here... must be the files... or something. Today it's been a year... feels like no time has passed but it's also been an eternity... miss you Gord.
I just met you guys last week at a bar named the Clinton . This, this shit right here makes me proud to be a Canadian. God bless you all.

I'm not crying...it's just raining on my face.
@ 4:26 it sounded like it was a call out to Gord. Then @ 4:50 "Louder! Go Go!" - Gave me Chills. Did anyone else notice that not many ppl needed the lyrics - young or old?

FUN, makes you want to be there
Beautiful
They were chanting, "Hip, Hip, Hip..." at the end. It's clear that there were a lot of Hip fans there.
Beautiful!
I saw my head!!!!
Man.....the hip could just tour without gord and let Canada fill in 😪😍😀

So how does one explore franchise rights? What if I wanted to do this in my town, with local talent??
Beauty eh
Thanks 💃
Holy fuck this is good
Hip hip hip
At 3:22, I think that might be Gord's brother, Mike.
I wonder…
man there is some dust in here...
I noticed there’s no comments from Americans, that because TTH, belong to Canadians. 😉
Well here ya go then. I saw them in concert several times here in Buffalo and we miss him just as much.
I have American friends in Buffalo who have probably seen the Hip more than most of us up here. If you love them, it's irrelevant where you're from. Just enjoy them.
