Breeding purebred poultry

All the different breeds of poultry in the world originated from the Red Junglefowl of southeast Asia. Poultry breeding has resulted in hundreds of different breeds with many different varieties. Emily Shoop, Extension Educator with Penn State Cooperative Extension, will discuss the basics of breeding purebred poultry.

Ayam Cemani do indeed have a written breed standard that covers far more than just the fibro black coloring. The Dutch breed standard is what the Ayam Cemani Breeders Association has adopted.

Wet your bird and it promotes molting during the molting season, usually at the first sign is best. High protean diet helps too.
