My family and I were visiting grandparents then. Unfortunately we did not go via clapham junction but via the VICTORA line which was very hot and smoky. I was in wool jumper and jacket !!
I lived near Clapham Junction and used the station a lot in the 70s, then it was known has the busiest Junction in the world, I dont know if it still is
I like trains but not the every day passenger ones reminds me of going to work. I love goods trains and live near Clapham junc is there anyway I can find out when they will be coming. Sorry if I'm being stupid but know nothing about train spotting cheers
There are two Waterloo to Waterloo loop services. One is via Clapham Jct, Wimbledon, Kingston, Strawberry Hill, Twickenham, Richmond, Putney, Clapham Jct and Waterloo. The second loop is via Clapham Jct, Barnes, Kew Bridge, Brentford, Hounslow, Twickenham, Richmond, Barnes, Clapham Jct and Waterloo.

Clapham Junction is the busiest in Britain by number of trains. Waterloo is the busiest in terms of the number of people in the station

The SWR livery is just a transitional livery from SWT, pretty much 85% of their trains still have the original SWT liveries on them.
But with an SWR sticker slapped on them

YEAH they did actully Repaint the 375S Southern livery because southern wanted some 375S And turned them into 377s
i thought they were gonna get rid of southwestern
They did with the SouthWest, now its South Western.

no, they have just got new liveries, they are mostly 90s/80s trains
