FINALLY, FINALLY a brother showing urban get home bag. What we need is to show the daily grind of just getting oriented with using the atlas. That’s the most important part. Having a small radio and then maneuvering around the chaos to get home even just traffic jams. If you can do that for us would be great TH-camrs don’t show that. You know your city better than anybody else. This would be a great effective way of really dealing with the urban grind. People want to show the worlds gone to hell instead of being lost and confused especially if in another city. Showing how the compass would be useful while on foot 🦶 inside the city. Thanks SEMPER FI
Ok. Thank you for the feedback. I will come up with a plan to make that happen. I have several compasses and maps of my city. This is a great idea for an educational video. Stay tuned. Thank you! Peace and Blessings.
Nice video bro. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. You’re loaded to say the least. I do like to point out that the bag in use screams tactical. I’d suggest toning it down to a more civilian looking bag that would blend in more in an Urban setting cause if SHTF, and you’re in a city, you will stick out like a sore thumb. That’s said, keep up the great content!
Don't forget that you can get water from your water heater in your house. Most of them will hold 40 gallons. Also carry a handful of tea light candles in your bag and in your house as well as some matches in plastic bags. Keep up the good work and God bless you my friend.
@shonsadler3817 Thank You Shonsadler ! Good knowledge transferring. I just added 6 tea candles in a Vacumed Sealed pack. I love how we can all learn something new here, because of this video. Like, Share, SUBSCRIBE. Peace and Blessings.
Husband and wife team truck drivers here. We both have 72hour bags set up and stored under our bunk. With how things are these days in emergencies we have to be able to take care of ourselves. I never thought about a silcock key before, that’ll be something I’m adding into my bag. Good video, thanks for taking the time to show us.

Well thought out. PIcked up a few tips. Forgive me I missed it, but a p38 or p51 can opener is a small, lightweight addition. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe.
How did you avoid your key ring getting snagged on fabrics? Mine was on my keychain for awhile but it would often snag at the most inopportune times. @peternorton5648
@@coltapodaca Yeah, I get that. I keep one on my keychain and it does occasionally poke my skin (haven't had an issue with my pockets or fabrics, but I can see how that would happen). I suppose you could put a little duct tape over the sharp point and then remove the tape if you need to puncture a can. But it hasn't presented a big problem for me. Stay safe.
Thank You Sir. The way things are going and the prices of "Water" one day at an unexpected moment the sicock key will save your but. The hat clip on the pocket light is a must have for any light I buy. I like what you did with your bag and every bag needs to be specified to the person carrying it. I took out a lot of redundancies to reduce weight so I can move faster because if SHTF every day is going to be worse and more dangerous than the day before. Something I like to carry is a sandwich bag with dryer lint as its a great fire starter and will even work with that ferro rod. Nice bag, but with a little consolidation, you could trim a lot of weight off of it. A get home bag only needs to support you for a couple of days at most, so it doesn't need as much redundancy. Still, you're thinking about this stuff, which puts you way ahead of the pack! And thank you for your service!
In the ATL I make sure I’m toting daily and we also hit the woods for rural survival. Our bags get a lot of use which helps us determine what is needed in the bag. Torches are cool but here in Atlanta pine is plentiful. If I can get fire from a knife, pine knot and a striker I’m food. Torches run out of fuel. Not bad.

It's My Pleasure to serve. Thank you for the acknowledgement. Thank you For SUBSCRIBEING, means alot to me. Get Home/ Go Bags can be challenging. There is so much gear and gadgets out there, some very good, most are gimmicks. Whatever you have in your Bag, you should be Training with it. Training days to mimic certain SHTF scenarios. Again Thank you for enjoying the Video. More content on the way. Peace and Blessings.
Thanks for sharing great content. Keep making the vidoes. Good gear. Good bag. "Possible" recommendedations for your urban get home bag 1. gator neck to shield face and mouth, to keep warm and protect from inhaling hazardous air particles. 2. Pocket knife+Glass breaker combo. 3. Grayl water filter bottle. 4. Mini crowbar. 5. Small binoculars.
Put either an MRE or a pack of SOS Emergency Ration bars into that pack. Or make your own MRE with snacks and anything that lasts a long time. Depending on how far you have to go on foot to get home, you're going to get hungry. Ready to eat rice packs and ready to eat tuna/salmon are great to mix up in a pinch and dont take up a lot of room. Don't forget to pack some gummy bears too. Also for urban and some rural GH/BO, a pry bar comes in very handy. Doesn't have to be anything big and heavy. Something to pry open doors or anything with. There's also small pocket sized pry bars that will save the blade on your knives. Don't want to damage your knife if you can have something dull to use. Also, for carrying water, a nalgene water bottle is a must have. If you're trying to get home, you won't have time to stop and boil water. That's what you filters are for and you should also pack some aqua tabs to purify water you collect while you're moving. There's an excellent water bottle called the Grayl GeoPress and another one from a company from Germany called Bachgold that has one like the Grayl for much less $ on Amazon. Also, this is very important, SAWC(Size and Weight Constraints). Be mindful of how much stuff you pack into your bag. Every item adds weight. Ounces add up to pounds. Us bigger dudes can carry a lot but in bad times, low on calories, high stress and long distances to cover, that weight takes a toll on you. Take your kit out for a weekend of hiking and camping. By time you're done, you'll know what you really need and what you dont.
Great video. I also agree that some sort of more is needed but one additional thing to thinking about is getting a gas mask if you haven't already. It understandably won't fit inside but you can attach it to your bag and if SHTF then you can then wear the gas mask bag around your waist/hip. In an urban environment, there is serious potential for biological/chemical scenarios where you will want to have one with you.
Gas Mask Yes 🎯 There have been several attempts where Bad Actors attempted to use chemicals But there secondary did Not explode. I am former LEO . * Stay Sharp Move Wisely*
It's my Pleasure. You are Welcome. My Lineage is of great Military Warriors. My dad is a Complete Bad Ass Green Beret LRRP Commando. It's our pleasure to Protect and serve. Peace and Blessings.
That's awesome. That's a great idea, if you travel further, it is good to build a bag that will suit your needs for an extended period of time. I will be doing another video with more serious off grid items, like jet boil, emergency blankets, tarps for lean 2's ect.... there are many ways,we all have different needs, to continue to evolve and build your bag to how You see fit is Key. Thank you for you support. Peace and Blessings.
You had a Sill Cock key to obtain water, but no water bottle to store your water. You said you could attach it to your bag. If not in your bag you most likely won't have it when you need it. Stay safe😊
“In God We Trust” But we prepare regardless. Wrap duct tape around your lighters. Before SHTF make sure you practice using Everything in your bags folks.
Subscribed. Edit: Be very careful using 10mm in self defense. Yes one round will stop every threat but hard to defend yourself in the court room. Glock makes a .357sig better to defend yourself in a court room proceeding God forbid. Also 9mm+p goes through windshields and lighter to carry. Sorry I’m sounding like salesman/lawyer I’m neither by the way. But being most blue anti 2A states will try anything to get you behind bars. End of statement.
I can't really imagine a scraper or a wrench coming in handy in either a bug out or get home scenario. If you really do find yourself needing things like that they should maybe be in your vehicle kit if that's even an option for you in the first place.
Change of shoes and socks. You have rain jackets but if you have ever walked in wet shoes ans socks or boots it will destroy your feet and attitude. Also mole skin patches to stop potential blisters on your feet.
Holy hell. Ok lets play a game. Get 2 or 3 friends, 5th of booze, and some shot glasses. Now evey tome he says "guys" ya take a shot. I promise you by the 5th minute nobody is gonna be sober. Nobody will make it tthroughthe video. I mean nobody.
Lol. Just Military Phrases. My Capt. Use to be the same way ! He would walk in must and say Alright GUYS ! LITERALLY he would say it 30 times before muster was over. I will be more cautious of it. Now when I go Start Atl Ebonics, make sure to not complain, saying that I sound like an urban Gang Banger. I can flip the lingo for sure. Lol.
@@newmillionsfilms I get ya my friend. Would make for a heck of a drinking game though. Maybe you will do a live event at a park here in Hot'lanta and we can do it with beer.
An "urban" get home bag? I'd suggest losing 4 of your lighters and swapping your black electrical tape for Gorilla duct tape. Just take the map pages that are relevant. You can easily lose a few pounds and save space. Movin along.
I'm all for redundancy when we're talking about a car kit. When you are humping all that weight, I'd probably ditch about 20% to 50% of what you have. Prioritize water, trauma kit, pew pew, some calories, and foot care. You are most likely going to be walking at most for 1 maybe 2 days. You can do that with a much smaller pack. Also don't advertise that you've got a bunch of cool stuff. The gangs will be out and you'll get robbed or worse. Did I mention have a pew pew? Good concept, but go walk with all that stuff for 20+ miles. There will be a trail of ditched gear behind you. Retired Marine Recon that as a youngster learned this the hard way. Swift Silent Deadly. Hard to be swift when you are humping that atlas LOL. Get the relevant pages for your area, waterproof it, and ditch the rest. Semper Fi. Stay safe.
Totally Agree with you, I've literally done what you are saying times 5, The Human Brain when in a Fight or flight stage will do remarkable things! Ive carried more weight than this during multiple 'selection" processes, I understand that not everyone is a Ranger or Marine, but when under stress we will Prevail ! Peace & Blessings, RANGERS LEAD THE WAY ! ALL THE WAY !
LOL! You have 'Dude Wipes' (LOL in and of itself), why do you also need a head seat cover? Space being a premium in a 'Go Bag', filling it with non-essential redundancy is ludicrous.
He was raised not to put his naked ass on a filthy public toilet seat. Might leave with something you didn’t show up with 🤮. We have them in our bags too. As you saw, they don’t take up any space!
Thank you for your service sir, I did my 20 and retired. That said, I have been building these kinds of bags/packs for a few years now. And as you said, when I started, I got a lot of information on how to do it from TH-cam. I'm sorry to say, and I mean no offense, but perhaps you should engage in some study from TH-cam yourself. This is one of the worst GHB videos I've seen. Where's your water? Where's your water purification systems? What do you plan to use as a non-lethal form of self defense? It looks as though you have two med kits, put both the blow out kit and the boo boo kit in one pouch, save space, put that kit on the outside of the pack for easy access, with a molle pouch it will attach right to the side of the pack without issue, for first aid you want to be able to get at it fast. Fire......you have torch lighters strewn all over the pack, make a fire kit and include more options for making fire, a ferrocium rod with a striker, matches, and tinder. Again make a fire kit all in one pouch. Keep an extra lighter or two in other areas of the pack as a back-up in case you lose the fire kit. This makes things more organized. Food.....I believe I only saw one food source in the pack, you could easily carry a bit more food in a pack that size without adding a lot of weight, and you should. You have two beenie caps. Why? You only need one to cover your head. I'm a believer in redundancy, but for a beenie cap? I don't think it's necessary. You have two headlamps, and a small flashlight. Why two headlamps? Keep the one that is rechargeable and take out the other. And increase the charging power of your charger (in other words get a new one with a higher milli-amp hour rating). And the flashlight should be changed out for something more powerful, preferably with a crenelated bezel for self defense use. Clothing....Have you included a change of clothes? Or, a partial change of clothes? I say that not so much so you can just have a change of clothes with you to make you feel cleaner, but what if you're spotted and pursued by some bad people? And they have your description? A quick change of clothing could throw them off your trail. Part of GHB philosophy is to avoid conflict with others, you don't want to get caught up in a fight with other people if you don't have to, it's best to avoid that at all costs. At the end of the video you state that you're a neat freak. Well, I have to be honest, looking at the pack, it doesn't look that way. I see no real organization at all. You have multiple items strewn everywhere in that pack, things that should go together but haven't been organized. If you're in a situation that requires you to walk home, then things are likely in dire straights. You don't want to be fumbling through your pack trying to find something you need like, right now. In addition: The way that you speak and move throughout the video, it's all very fast. It almost gives one the impression that you're just making a video on this subject, just to make another video, and that you really aren't interested in the subject matter of the video, you just want to get it done quickly so you can post a video. I would suggest you re-think the whole pack, the concept of the GHB, and organize it properly. Again, none of what I've stated here is meant to offend you, I hope that you don't take it that way. If you have then my apologies. I'm just trying to help 🙂

seems to big to be a get home bag.. least my mindset. a get home bag is something for small (fanny pack size) that u can bring about anywhere and get yourself home within a few days on. water purifier. small first aid. map? fire. knife. flash light. maybe a few rounds if u carry. space blanket. granola bars or similar. the idea is to imagine yourself 3 days from home and figure out the bare minimum you need to get home. and get your stash. the bag in the video seems to be more of a bag to keep in your car that would last you for a week or more to get to your next location. bigger the bag the more attention you might draw to yourself. just my opinion. by absolutely no means any kind of an expert.

Greetings, Hossm1808 ! It's my pleasure to serve, sincerely. Thank you for watching and supporting. I wish you success in putting your bag together, You be safe and blessed as well. Sincerely
What about a sleeping bag or something similar if it took more than a few hours to walk home?
No sleep, keep moving to safety. You wouldn't want to just sleep in an urban environment.
Great suggestions. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you. You're welcome. Sincerely
Thank you for your service. Subbed. Good vid. Useful gear. These bags can be harder to do than people think.
Good gear. Good bag. "Possible" recommendedations for your urban get home bag
1. gator neck to shield face and mouth, to keep warm and protect from inhaling hazardous air particles. 2. Pocket knife+Glass breaker combo. 3. Grayl water filter bottle. 4. Mini crowbar. 5. Small binoculars.
Greetings a d Thank You ! I will definitely add a couple items that you mentioned to my Bag. Be safe, Peace and Blessings !
Cool video good info
Thank you !
Ok. Thank You. I just purchased some readywise emergency rations. Updated video coming soon.
@@newmillionsfilms Awesome. Great video by the way.

Good video with good info!
Thank You. Sincerely.
Thank you for your service
It's my Pleasure. You are Welcome. My Lineage is of great Military Warriors. My dad is a Complete Bad Ass Green Beret LRRP Commando. It's our pleasure to Protect and serve. Peace and Blessings.
I've put together a bag that's a little of both, because it might take me a while to be able to get home as i travel thousands of miles a week.
Check out the recover 20/20 chassis, i put a glock in it, and thats in my get home bag as well, just in case the work gets a little harder.
Do forget the snacks jerky, trail mix, energy bars.
Jerky & Cliff bars Loaded.
Great stuff!
Thank you. Sincerely!
@newmillionsfilms most welcome! Shared you out too.
Awesome!
Thanks !
Is this urban bag meant for getting from one city to another or within the same city?
You had a Sill Cock key to obtain water, but no water bottle to store your water. You said you could attach it to your bag. If not in your bag you most likely won't have it when you need it. Stay safe😊
Thank You. I have a stainless steel Water bottle that can be put over an fire to boil. A few new items will be added. Peace and Blessings.
Get a small water filter and a plastic foldable water container. Walmart had em for 13$ on sale
He did have 3 condoms and baggies so that is usable
@@unitedivide2789 ok. Thank you.
Lol, he doesn't need a water bottle, he has condoms.
It’s very military and professional, I’m only a civilian, can I buy this bag ?
Yes, You can Buy this Bag. Check your local Army Navy surplus store.
“In God We Trust”
But we prepare regardless. Wrap duct tape around your lighters. Before SHTF make sure you practice using Everything in your bags folks.
@johnjanuary2958 Yes. Indeed!In GOD we Trust ! Thank you ! 🙏🏾
thank you
You're welcome. Thank you.
As a black man I appreciate this brother.......
Greetings Brother! Thank you! I appreciate the support! Peace and blessings king!
Amen - In God we trust. God bless!
Peace & Blessings! 🙏🏾
Do you mark the pack with your last name on it? and inside it? Paracord? Duct tape? Bear Spray?
No Sir. That's a Negative.
I can't really imagine a scraper or a wrench coming in handy in either a bug out or get home scenario. If you really do find yourself needing things like that they should maybe be in your vehicle kit if that's even an option for you in the first place.
Peace and Blessings !

Change of shoes and socks. You have rain jackets but if you have ever walked in wet shoes ans socks or boots it will destroy your feet and attitude. Also mole skin patches to stop potential blisters on your feet.
Yes Indeed socks, undergarments are in the Vacumed Sealed bag that I displayed. I'm always in a pair of nice boots, which are water resistant.
I liked the video but you must of said guys 300000 times🤣
@davewasea Thank You ! Peace and Blessings.

Nice bag, but it seems to me that the trauma kit and the rain poncho should be more readily accessible.
Ok. I can consider that idea. Im open to Learning from different perspectives. Peace and Blessings.
Lol.

I get ya my friend.
Thank you for your feedback. Peace and Blessings, Salute. Moving Along!
Coast and nebo are great and cheaper in price

Indeed. In God We Trust. Peace and Blessings.
Nice video man, maybe just try not repeating "guys" every 2 seconds pleaaase
Thank You ! Lol.
@@newmillionsfilms I really didn't mean offense bro, I liked the video lol it was just an observation
It’s better than hearing folks or bros over and over again.
@@The_Hartofect_ Facts. Lol
LOL! You have 'Dude Wipes' (LOL in and of itself), why do you also need a head seat cover? Space being a premium in a 'Go Bag', filling it with non-essential redundancy is ludicrous.
Peace and Blessings. keep in Mind Urban Get home sir.
He was raised not to put his naked ass on a filthy public toilet seat. Might leave with something you didn’t show up with 🤮. We have them in our bags too. As you saw, they don’t take up any space!
If duct tape and zip ties can’t fix it it’s not salvageable lol
Lol. Nothing But truth there brother! Lol. Peace and Blessings. Please consider SUBSCRIBEING. More preparedness content on the way. Thank You !

Love the intro & nice bag. I don’t want to come across rude but for the sake of viewership try to limit the use of the word “guys” in the future. I loved the video but it became distracting. Look forward to more content. Liked and subscribed. Cheers.
Thank You Peace and Blessings.
seems to big to be a get home bag..
least my mindset. a get home bag is something for small (fanny pack size) that u can bring about anywhere and get yourself home within a few days on.
water purifier. small first aid. map? fire. knife. flash light. maybe a few rounds if u carry. space blanket. granola bars or similar.
the idea is to imagine yourself 3 days from home and figure out the bare minimum you need to get home. and get your stash.
the bag in the video seems to be more of a bag to keep in your car that would last you for a week or more to get to your next location. bigger the bag the more attention you might draw to yourself.
just my opinion. by absolutely no means any kind of an expert.
Thank You. We can all learn from one another. Peace and Blessings.
