@@jacksugden8190Because Ken was married to Valerie,, who was Albert’s niece - making Albert his uncle-in-law - which is the nearest thing that you can get to an uncle when your actual uncles are either deceased or nonexistent - even Deirdre called him Uncle Albert! I have loads of actual nephews and nieces and some of them have offspring - not one of them has my surname, since they are the offspring of my sisters and have their father’s name - and even some of my nieces have their husband’s name, as do the offspring!
Coronation Street was a slum in 1962, a slum now in 2024, at least I never lived in a place like that, about time the demolition crews moved into that street and built some affordable modern homes, modern shop and boozer 🍺.
Wish corrie could be more like this again.

I never understood the man, I never had an Uncle like that, Ken always called him his Uncle, strange Sir Name was Tatlock.

He was a busy body, he could have reported the father, rather then get involved, still it’s only a soap.
