Enjoyed the video. We have a pair of Bosch powered mountain bikes for years and immediately changed the saddles to Selle Royal gel saddles. There are Athletic, Moderate and Relaxed versions for the type of riding you do. Very comfortable indeed. Also anticipating a hill / steep path and changing down to a lower gear before you get to it always helps. The bikes have definitely revolutionised our lives. The other advice I would give is to try and keep the batteries half-charged if not using the bikes for a few days. Left Full or Empty for extended periods is not good for them.
Thanks for that - Gill still complains about her saddle so we will definitely look at these. We love our bikes and they have meant that we can now cycle from home, something we could do on non-electric bikes due to the hills around us!
I ordered the same bike from my local dealer. Should arrive next week. Same age and experience as both of you. Nice town to ride in. Hope you build wonderful memories together with your new healthy pastime. Cheers
They are great bikes - you will love it. So far, all of our rides have been on roads or gravel tracks and we have not yet been brave enough to try anything more adventurous!
Ebikes are a big step up from a normal bike and you will certainly get used to them and really start to enjoy them. We do have a lot of hills here in Cornwall and especially some really steep hills and these bikes will handle them with ease. Good dealer support is essential as you will have so many questions when you start off. Safe cycling and thanks for your great videos 😊
I hope that you enjoy your bike as much as we do. For us they have made an incredible difference in that we can visit places that we never would be able to on push-bikes.
We recently changed to electric bikes. We have Carrera crossfuse bikes. We bought them as they have bosch motors, removable batteries and suspension, but are a lot lighter than most. We used them extensible in Spain this year, especially on the via verdes. We have an Altera towbar mounted bike rack, which is great. I am sure you will soon get used to the motors, gears and brakes!
We are really pleased with our bikes - it made our holiday in France so much better. Once we had parked up, they meant that we didn't move the campervan until we moved on.
We're really pleased with them. We haven't been out on them recently because of the weather but are hoping to do a cycle in the next few weeks - watch this space!!

How is the bike ?
Nice bikes - can highly recommend getting some padded cycling shorts for additional saddle comfort
That's a very good idea. It doesn't seem to affect me quite as much as it does Gill!
Sweet bike! I've been looking into the same one myself, cheers from Canada!
We are really pleased with the bikes. In our video on the 23rd February we will be using our bikes again so make sure you stay tuned!!
Looking forward to buy this bike. Tks for the video

I've thankfully not fallen off since our 1st trip! We bought them from a local dealer who was very helpful when we had them serviced.
I am getting one of these next weekend everything going to plan, will mostly use it for riding to work and some weekend adventures.
I hope that you enjoy your bike as much as we do. For us they have made an incredible difference in that we can visit places that we never would be able to on push-bikes.
I liked the colour 🎉 congratulations
Thanks, so do we - although it was the only colour that they do in that model!!
I’ve just got one for myself nd it’s a blast
We are still loving ours - especially now I've learnt not to fall off!!!

We borrowed 2 e-bikes whilst on holiday, I have never been so freightened. Not for me I'm afraid. 🎉🎉
After my 1st little incident, I've been a lot more careful and, touch wood, I've not fallen off again!!!
