You’re very right 😅 my mother in law is very kind in front of me but starts a tantrum whenever something doesn’t go her way. She does it by faking sickness, she pretends to faint 😂 or cries to get my husband’s attention. I knew what I was getting into when she and her husband (father in law) threatened my husband with disowning him, stop talking to him and never wanting to see him again if he didn’t marry an Egyptian woman. THANKFULLY 😅 my husband knew that was a manipulative behavior so he just let them and proceeded to marry me regardless. They showed him tons of options (other Egyptian women) they spoke to their families on his behalf, tried everything to prevent him from being with me. Didn’t work so they had to accept but I knew it wasn’t gonna be easy. She’s a hypocrite with me, I know it so I pretend to be nice as well 😂😂… I play her game, we both know it. But if I had known it was going to be like this before falling in love: FOR SURE I would’ve simply found someone else. Gotta grow thick skin to deal with toxic Egyptian in laws, which I do have but still it’s very annoying! I personally don’t suggest foreigners to be with Egyptian men. Lots of negative energy, manipulation, deceiving, narcissism, selfishness… just horrible! But it’s teaches me exactly who I don’t want to become when I have my own kids.

Oh no thats not the same at all.. it's not ur duty to make sisters in law happy. And they are NOT on the place of mother in law, and never will! Don't let them fool you

Thank you! Now I know what signs I should keep an eye out for😊 Do you think they would have a problem with a non-muslim daughter in law that doesn't intend on becoming Muslim either?

If Allah SOA can speak to us in words he will say that you ate so Sincere. Why I say this I’m a New Yorker who marry an a egyptian man over 20 years ago. When I learn arabic it was so shocking. Although I do love her? I don’t love her ways. I didn’t give papers to my 11:05 husband. They try in every way to make me feel not good enough.

@The Niqab Girl can you please tell me if my list is realistic? And can you tell me if the girlfriend/wife in egypt is seen more like an option than a priority? Thank you
    Egyptains men prioritys:
    1. Family/Job/Religion
    2. Friends
    3. His Passions
    4. Girlfriend/Wife

I would put wife beside family ! After his mum, the wife and kids are the most important thing in Egyptian man life.
Then religion, then Job and friends..but passion will definitely be the last thing !
And wife is not an option ,.Egyptians adore marriage in common and they value it very much

I had a relationship before with an Egyptian man, wayback 2017-2018, our relationship was long distance and we had never met. But he cheated on me, and suddenly he married the woman who was from the USA and moved there, and he blocked me to all our contacts, but I can't do anything just to accept everything that happened even though it hurt and we planned to meet and settle down then, but after 4 yrs (just this yr January ) I was surprised and he sent me a message asking for forgiveness for everything he had done! He said that for four years his life became miserable and he became unhappy with the woman he married, he suffered badly, now the process of their divorce is on going. And he said that it was all the payment for what he did to me ,cheating and leaving! Now he wants to get back to me and fix everything between us, should I give him a chance? btw i am from pilibin😊 God bless you sissy!
I learned a lot from your videos 😊

No! No! Don’t do it! Move on, find someone who values you, not someone who sees your worth ONLY after mistreating you. Egyptian men usually think foreign women are dumb and easy to manipulate, so if he did it before: He’s EXTREMELY likely to do it again.

Those things are all pretty universal I'd say, toxic mothers in law will be toxic mothers in law! I encountered the same problems with a Canadian and an Irish mother in law, so I guess I'm ready? 😅 Type B cluster kind of pesonality isn't exclusive to Egypt, sadly.
