2024 Hilton Hawaiian Village Strike and Contract Victory

Celebrating one of our Union’s biggest fights and victories of 2024-40 days on strike at the Hilton Hawaiian Village ‼️
Over 1,800 workers at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, including Housekeeper Nely Reinante, stepped up on and off the picket line to win the best contract ever 🙌🏽 These workers led the way in setting the standard for hospitality workers across Hawaii with wage increases that allows us and our families to get ahead-not just get by, improvements in workload and staffing conditions, and better job security.
Since the strike ended, Local 5 members at eight more Hawaii hotels have ratified new contracts and secured the standard set by Hilton Hawaiian Village workers. ✅
