The problem with teaching English is that the employers want people from English-speaking countries so it's a problem for people like me whose 2nd language is English.
Nono I don't think so If you are fluent in English then there is no problem at all But if you are still worried than you can give ILETS or TOFEL!! and can show them as a proof!!

So thank you so much for making this vid TT and I just wanted to add that for anyone not familiar with the media/entertainment industry in general, Sunny's comment about having connections seems a bit intimidating, but from what all of my media professors have told me is that this industry in general is VERY connection-based, so whether it's working in Korea or America while you can still find jobs on your own, you're a lot better off if you have good connections; the sad truth :')

I guess a question that I wish would have been asked or would have been added to the questions would be not in regards to non koreans, but for those who cannot speak korean. I feel like that would be necessary for a job there more than your race or ethnicity. I guess my question is: how different would the situation be would for those who cannot speak korean (or very basic korean). Not just for media jobs but for companies in different fields.
kinda weird though Joan is American but she is still an ethnic Korean; but when in Korea she is considering herself as foreigner. I guess I will feel the same way if I go back to china! lol
