I would give this season 9.4/10 The only disappointment was deku vs shigaraki, not the whole fight was bad, only the parts that bad underwhelming animation and censorship I hope the reason the fight wasnt givin more attention is because theyre saving some sakuga animation
Endeavor is a good person with an obsession turning him into something he isn't, it's clear he can change for the better. Hawks father was a villain who was always like this
To be fair, Hawks's father was already abusive. Endeavor was a somewhat decent parent at first, but the messed up hero system caused a domino effect that turned him into an abusive father.

This really says a lot about Hawks how his family was so awful. That’s why he tries to help the hero he looked up to as a small boy because he knows his family situation is just as awful. I feel like in any other work it would be like. “You were just as abusive as my father DIE!!!” But no it’s very well written.
Hawk's casual demeanor just sells it all through the way he behaves. Feather-man's been through the ringer, so he knows how to respond well and brush things off. He's still there with the morals he started with.
I remember when I first read this chapter I felt so sorry for hawks. And the saddest part about it is that there are actual kids in real life that live like this. I’m just thankful he didn’t turn out like his parents.

the parallelism between him and dabi is wonderful, and the fact that both reconnects with endevaur at the end. its about the choice u make, and how u let the past consume you, hawks did all of that dabi couldnt and i think its wonderful.

You alone decide what is right, wrong, what is worth putting effort in, etc. The environment may influence that, but in the end, if two different people were to be raised in the exact same environments, events etc, they would still turn out different
