Hope this comment isn't too long, but I got so excited when I saw the topic of your video. I grew up Catholic in the era where women still covered their heads. My grandmother worked in a hat department, and my mother had the most incredible collection of hats. The most memorable was olive green felt with a stuffed bird with it's plumes in full regalia. (My brothers hated when she wore it). Needless to say, I love hats too and wear them all the time. In winter, I especially love the Chinese silk hats with the faux fur that were very big in the 80's. Also in Australia, all children are REQUIRED to wear hats during recess. Signs in schools and day care: "No hat, no play." So my grandchildren wear them everyday. Winning! Two brands you should check out are Melissa Odabash and Helen Kaminski. Sorry to be an enabler, but hat lovers of the world unite!

I loved this video. I have, in fact, just ordered a Panama hat for the summer! I adore hats and have several, but I don’t often wear them because I don’t want to be putting them on and off all day. Your video has given me the confidence to put on a hat and KEEP it there - no matter what! Our mothers and grandmothers wore them that way, why not us? That adorable little wool hat you have at the end is - I believe - more akin to what’s known as a newsboy hat. Love your collection!

Goorin brothers make my fav hats, but it’s a bit harder to shop with them online because they do the custom sizing in store to fit your head but I think their hats are totally worth it, plus they sell the cutest old fashioned hat boxes I love! Lol the rag and bone Panama hat is so cute and they all look great on you.,
You look great in hats! They are a must for me in the summer for sun protection. I just got the packable straw hat from Madewell in the blushy-taupe shade and it goes well with my skin tone (yours too!)

A bit off topic, but you’ve given us tips on how you make your shoes last by adding rubber soles; do you have any tips on keeping the inside clean and smelling fresh? I wear my flats and heels for 12+ hours a day working a corporate job and find my shoes can start to smell which makes me keep them for less time than I’d prefer despite taking good care of the outside.
I was going to recommend the same thing as Suzanne - dryer sheets work quite well. My mom used to sprinkle baby powder into her shoes which really helped but did turn the insides white which can be annoying. :(
I just bought a rag and bone size s/m for a gift. She has a “normal” size head. I don’t get these sizes. S/m or m/l. What size is the one your wearing? Im scared the s/m might be too small :(

A Little Bit etc Oh my gosh, you just opened me up to a whole another world!! I just got sucked in for hours. Love this app like to know it! You just opened me up to a whole new way of shopping. I love hauls so I can see the pieces on someone and now you just should me how I can spend hours shopping now by viewing instagram pictures. Sorry I probably sound way behind the times. Yes, I’ve been living in a cave....LoL. Reality is you could really call them my bedroom my cave because I spend a whole lot of time in there since I’m bedridden. I’m getting around more and more with a walker but still most of my time is in bed. Thank you so much for opening me up to this.XO

I stuff all my shoes with Mrs. Meyers dryer sheets when I'm not wearing them.
