I love how thoughtful Shane is. Bringing Merina some Christmas tree cakes! I ❤️ it. All relationships should be like that! Happy holidays y'all ❤ y'all
You can prep Thanksgiving dinner days ahead. I chop onions, celery, nuts stuff like that a couple days ahead. Casseroles can be assembled and refrigerated ahead. Veggies can be washed ahead of time. Pies, the day before. Racheal Ray has done some good tips on preparing ahead. I hope the power company repairs your yard. Happy Holidays!
Acre homestead on TH-cam has a holiday party hosting video and online course to make planning and prepping all the way to serving a breeze! It does take some organization and planning (but she and her mom explain everything). Becky and her family are a real blessing to watch.
Ohhh the grass!!!! Most of the time, whatever company or city(at least in Michigan) if they destroy your lawn or cement or whatever, they will make it right. I would be making a phone call for sure. And I’m not saying to be nasty to them in no means but, they should make that right. The yard was left pretty tore up.
Hey Rina I work for a power company in Louisiana. We let our customers file a damage claim with us if ruts are left in the yard by our linemen and we will come back out at no cost and fill them in and fix the yard. Call your power company and see if you can file a damage claim on those ruts...and also the day before Thanksgiving to set a pole ?!? Really lol...Holiday Blessings to your family. As we know Jesus is the reason for the season! God Bless!
Good job on Thanksgiving dinner, it looked delicious! You're doing great and learning as you go! A few tips for your holiday cooking/baking: Drape a kitchen towel over your mixer until the powdered sugar is mixed into the mixture, this will stop it from splattering everywhere. A lot of side dishes can be made a day or two in advance and then reheated the day of, like mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, stuffing/dressing. If only one oven is available, utilize crock pots to heat up the mashed potatoes, stuffing/dressing, green beans, etc.
I recently found this wonderful site! What a happy and refreshing channel! A real family who is centered in Jesus and surrounded with love and fun!!! The joy this family shares as they live, grow and create together is so special! I fell in love with this beautiful family from the first video I saw. Now I am hooked and look forward to watching everything they have produced! Well done! THANK YOU!!! 😊❤
I don’t think I have ADHD but I can tell you I would never have been able to cook what you did from scratch and keep my sanity. You go girl!! Looked delicious!!
I just love Shane. He is soooo funny! He is such a good father, husband, Christian, and person. You two are just made for each other. God is good. I'm glad you have a utube channel. You guys bless my life. Thank y'all so much
I’m so glad y’all had a Happy Thanksgiving!! We have so much to be thankful for!! Most of all Jesus taking on our sins and paying the price so we don’t have to!
Merina, please let Shane know that KFC has the best cole slaw in the world! It's less mayonaise and more sweet and sour. I drive 20 miles once a week just to get it.
I discovered You Tube and your family during COVID. I was immediately drawn in by your personality ,love of family and love of Jesus. The fact that whatever your past you overcame it and how grateful you are for everything. You proved you don't need a mansion if you can make a trailer a mansion !!! Then you DID !!! You and Shane are incredible !!!!! You work SO hard and love your family and care for your children with all your being. It was a little jarring to see the move ,t5he big double wide and all the property !!!! I realized you were able to purchase it with money you made from You Tube. NOBODY deserves it more. AS you have said most often it was the friends you made here that have taught you so much and given you so much. I can't even believe ALL that food you made from scratch. Amazing .Just determination and true grit YOU made it happen. and I am just in awe. I've wanted to comment a million times but here I am finally saying a few things . The #1 reason was months ago I noticed that you were taking off quite a bit of weight Keep that up. Your health is primary so you live to see your children's children. You are beautiful inside and out. Leave your hair natural and you don't need much makeup at all. The picture at the end of you in that royal blue sweater is GORGEOUS. You are blessed with a husband like Shane and your four wonderful children who are crazy about you. You have changed in looks and accelerated knowledge Your vocabulary is spot on and you've changed addresses but YOU haven't changed one bit and you make me smile. I am so happy for all you've achieved . God Bless you all and Nanny too !!! A friend from New Jersey XO
Merina, i can feel your gratefulness. Good people seem to just come together. Jesus is Good.😊 I enjoy your family period and you are a honest loving good somebody!
I love your relationship with your Nanny. My Grandparents raised me. They were my Mom and Dad. Gpa died in 99 from a Brain Aneurysm and Gma in 2018 from Lupus. I haven’t been ok since. My Grandma was my Best Friend and living in this world without her has been really hard on me. I just love watching you interact with your Nanny. It brings such a genuine smile to my face. I’ve found it very comforting considering she reminds me so much of my Grandma ❤ I’ll be honest I’m not the most religious person. I’ve struggled with my faith and the Church a lot since I was a small child but my Grandma used to always tell me it doesn’t matter WHERE you pray as long as you do. Please know your Nanny is most definitely in my prayers ❤ I truly mean that.
You did great on the pumpkin pie mix, you may want to keep in mind that any liquid pies that go into your oven, the pie plate should always be on a cookie sheet. It helps keep the filling from pouring or spilling into the oven and helps when you have to take it out of the oven to be safe as the filling and pie plate will be so very hot. Just a thought to be helpful.
Lmao to Mirena's visual reaction to cleaning the big bird! Shane, send that portion of this vlog to America's Most Funniest Videos. It's priceless and might just get you the big prize. Great job on this holiday, can't wait to see what you do next.
I love y’all ❤❤ Not even one minute into the video I am emotional over how sincere and humble you are. You are truly an inspiration to me and many others. I think the way you sharing Jesus on this platform is reaching someone who may never had the chance to hear about him otherwise.
Watching this makes me miss my mom, she passed in September. She loved watching your channel with me and reading the lovely comments. You have the best community.
Our electricity went out one year in the middle of cooking my Thanksgiving meal. I finished it all on two gas grills outside. 😂 We still talk about that thanksgiving. I’m fairly new to your channel by the way. I’ve been quietly enjoying it for a few months. Decided to break my silence tonight. Lol Anyway, I’m a KY girl and absolutely LOVE Tennessee. It’s my home away from home. Thanks for sharing.
I love watching Shane’s grocery haul. He’s so funny telling everything he purchased. Love your family! I look forward to seeing your videos. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Hey Friend,I haven't been on because i've been in the hospital...i'm so behind on all my videos and heres why~I was taken to Adena Pike ER last Saturday, tests were done and i had to have an ng tube put in and transferred to Adena Main,I had a bowel obstruction, uti, osteomyelitis in the bone in the wound,Septic, low sodium, dehydrated, I was given 5 bags of iv potassium and 2 iv bags of magnesium,I'm on a 12 day oral antibiotic and a 12 day iv antibiotic,I got home Friday evening,i have a lot of catching up to do!
We are happy to see you all! Our Thanksgiving didn’t happened this year. We stood vigilant for three days and nights because our 4 year old baby cat was sick and today Saturday November 25 God called her home. She was a blessing to us, she was smart and very loving. I will miss her so much. 😢
I’m so proud of you for cooking everything from scratch! I cooked for my family , 15 people this year. I was totally exhausted! Your food looked delicious! You have a lovely family and I love your videos.
Happy Thanksgiving weekend. It's such a joy to watch Shane give each item specifically as you asked him to buy. On both trips to buy your list. The kids clothes you found at Ross are really nice. Your going to do great making the desserts. Your excitement comes out with joy. You and Shane are so good for each other. Y'all work good with each other. It's looking so good in getting your Christmas decor up. I'm always happy to be a part of y'all's videos. Y'all are such a blessing to me to know y'all are part of my family. Merina remember your an amazing wife, mom, cook and baker and a woman of God. Stay strong in your faith. I know God is your saviour as He is mine. I love your precious sweet, kind loving heart and spirit. As I love your kids kind, loving, precious ,sweet hearts. I love Shane's kind, happy, loving, sweet heart and spirit and love all y'all's joy and laughter. Such all of y'all's kindred spirits. You can do it Merina. See your doing great. Love y'all. Y'all make my day. Jesus loves y'all and so do I. Thank you for y'all's great spirit. You kickin' it out of the ball park 👏👏👏👏💝💝❤️❤️
I know you don’t know me, and this may not mean much, but I’m so proud of you! You did the dag on thing!!! I’ve watched you for such a long time and watched you self make yourself into who you want to be. I never had anyone teach me anything, not to cook or clean, or laundry… so I know how good it feels when you accomplish things that you set out to do. I’m just so happy for you, that every day you get a little closer to your dreams. So proud of you! You and your family are beautiful and I’m so glad I get to see a glimpse into your lives through your videos. May God continue to bless you! Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m so proud of you for cooking all of those dishes from scratch! After cooking many many holiday dinners myself - I can offer a few tips. We have two side dishes that are family traditions for Thanksgiving outside of the normal stuffing and potatoes so that helps limit the guesswork on what to cook. The kids look forward to those dishes all year since I only make them for Thanksgiving so they have become special. I also make as much as I can the day before so I’m just baking the casseroles and turkey the day of. I cook the potatoes and sweet potatoes the day before so I’m just mashing and assembling and heating up in the oven or crock pot that day. I even make Ina Gartens make ahead gravy base a couple of days ahead and just heating with the turkey drippings while the casseroles are baking. All of this prep work allows me to enjoy my family more during the day and I’m not exhausted by the time we eat. You are doing so great and creating great memories!
Everything looks so good! I'd tear up that hb casserole. YUM! You did amazing! Although the baby carrot find was a highlight and made me giggle, I especially enjoyed the pics at the end of you and your beautiful family. Taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Psalm 24:8 and girl, you have surely been blessed.
I am so chucking while you are groaning over the turkey cavity… because I’m thinking no matter how challenging that moment the view (a beautiful green filed) is something to feel beyond grateful for. So happy you are now in your double wide.
Girl, you have come so far in your cooking, I’m so proud of you! You whipped up that whip cream like a BOSS! I’m sure everything else was delicious. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Honestly, I’m SO proud of you! I felt it in my soul when you said “I’m overwhelmed” I can’t even tell you how many things I would love to make from scratch but am too intimidated to. This was so inspiring, thank you! Hope you and your family have a blessed rest of your weekend ❤
Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Im thankful for you for being my friend. Been feeling real lonely this holiday season. Not sure why. Just trying my best to make it a magical time for the kiddos. Love ya'll lots! ❤
Don’t know why but you making all those thanksgiving meals made me emotional 😅 you’ve come so far one day you’re going to be an amazing nanny for your grandbabies ❤
You go Merina!!! That was a Beautiful meal!!! I'm so proud of you!!! We had our 2nd Thanksgiving today I'm So Thankful, but this old lady's feet is So tired. What a wonderful Thanksgiving. I'm So Thankful. God Bless you and your Beautiful family.
38:54 I recommend setting pie pan on cookie sheet before filling and also to transport to oven to cook so any spillage is caught on cookie sheet 😊 you cooked a feast! ❤️
Happy Thanksgiving weekend y'all. Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. I thank the Lord for the family and food we received. Truly blessed by the best ❤😊
Wow merina I’m so proud of you. Everything looked so good , you shouldn’t have to cook for awhile looks like you’ll have plenty of leftovers. I love leftovers ❤️
I don't know if anyone else told you this but here goes...place pies and/or casseroles on a cookie sheet and then put them in the oven. If they spill or boil out your oven will still be clean. Love your channel!🙂
Such a pleasure to see you and your beautiful family celebrate life and holidays! May the upcoming Christmas bring you many blessings and plenty of joy! 🙏♥
Hehe one of my kittens was clawing at the screen, trying to get the steam coming off your potatoes! Lol ❤ Had to share with you. You DID AMAZING! My father in law bought us a whole Thanksgiving dinner already made we just had to heat it up. We added 2 sides, added some extra bits to the sweet potatoes it came with, some rolls and I made a cheesecake pie. Let me tell you the little amount of work I did killed my back, and that was NOTHING in comparison to ALL you did here for your family. Great job mama! Also hats off to Shane for helping with dishes and late night grocery runs!
1. Always put your pies on a cookie sheet before putting them in the oven. Eliminates the mess but also makes it easier to take them out when hot. 2. There is always extra pumpkin pie mix. I pour mine into an appropriately sized dish without a pie crust and bake them. My family would fight over who gets to eat it.
You are precious Rena. I am new to your Channel, and can tell you have a story behind you. I think you’ve made a video about your life but I haven’t got that far yet. My grandma raised me, and I think it was so precious you are still taking care of her for thanksgiving any way you can. You have such a caring soul. Your hubby, when he said “I was just as surprised as y’all was!” Lol…. Your hubby thinks the world of you and it’s so clear to see. I love listening to his hauls and talk about what you are Fixin to make and he’s so excited about it. Reminds me of my hubby. Y’all are precious. I hope good things continue to come your way. You deserve to go as far as you wanna go with your Channel. Thank you for the real life videos and yes and amen about the showers. 😊
Glad y’all had a great thanksgiving. Just a suggestion but I cook my sides and the desserts Wednesday. As much as I can. It helps so much on thanksgiving day.normally all I have to cook on thanksgiving day is the turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, rolls. Prep the day before will make your day go so much smoother. Everything looks delicious!
Merina, you did great! I'm sure Shane told you that when his stomach stopped eating itself....haha Everything looked so good, and you made it all from scratch. Accomplished! God Bless you and your family....Happy Thanksgiving weekend to you all 😊
Wow Merina! You did so good, i am soooo proud & impressed. I'm 53 & have been cooking my whole life & I'm telling you i would have struggled & been stressed cooking all that & getting it to the table on time. Just brilliant, well done honey! ❤
Looks Delicious........... Momma! I know you're excited & Proud that you accomplished a wonderful & Meaning Thanksgiving for Us to watch and Family to enjoy 💖🕊️👑💋
The haul! It was epic this time around. It was giving all of the Thanksgiving food stuffs! I just wanted to give you a simple shortcut for semi-homemade coleslaw. 1 bag of coleslaw mix (sold in the vegetable section) 2 to 3 bigger size Roma tomatoes Mayonnaise to taste Either Spicy Brown or Regular Yellow Mustard to taste Salt and Pepper to taste Onion powder to taste Garlic Powder to taste Chop the Romas into small diced pieces Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate a couple of hours to allow flavors to develop Enjoy (especially good on or with pulled pork or chicken or beef sandwiches or fried chicken) I hope that you see this and like it. Keep up the wonderful work!
Amazing what you can do when you take a deep breath and are determined to achieve something.Well done.Cooking is simple once you over come your fear of it,it can be fun too.Its so much better than shop brought too..I stopped doing my baking a few years back due to ill health and it’s just me now.But my Daughter and Grandson will be her for a few days over Christmas,so I get to do a bit of cooking with her,so it will be nice.My grandson got knocked down crossing the road on the way to school last week.He hit the window screen and went over the car.He is ok ,he had concussion and a cut near his eye and broke his little finger .He was saved any further injury by his back pack as he landed on that.We were so grateful,he must have had an Angel with him that day.Apart from being sore and being teased about joining the gymnastic team now. He’s fine.In fact he seems happier than he was before. So it shows having Faith does go a long way.I am glad you had a great 1st Thanksgiving in your new home and that I am sure it will be the first of many more happy memories for you all..God Bless you all 🥰
Bless your heart Enjoyed watching you get your Thanksgiving dinner together Your homemade rolls looked awesome Have a great rest of the Thanksgiving weekend Love and Hugs
What a feast! Beautiful Thanksgiving spread and you did it all. That's no small feat so you really should be proud of yourself. It all looks delicious. Wow! 😊
I love Coltons sweater! He's got great taste! You can't beat the Ross deals. We don't have Ross but we have Gabe's... I think they're the same store just a different name
Hope you all had a great day! Call them and they have to come back and fix it…they have to put your property as they found it…I always try to watch the parade…this year is was a mess though, floats deflated and satanic symbols on floats…not good!! Happy holidays! You’re such a great grand daughter and Shane is great too! Lol👍🙏💕🇺🇸🐾😊
MERINA!! Try picking up some of those pet couch covers. Not the ones that cover the entire couch, get the ones that just cover the seat and back of the couch, almost like a blanket. They come in so many styles, even Holiday themes. This way u can just throw them in the wash when Blue Jeans and Moonpie want to cause a ruckus!😅Plus, they are pretty!😊
Hi Merina, everything looked delicious! Just a helpful hint for your pumpkin pie, I always put a cookie sheet under my pies. So if you have overflow the cookie sheet catches it.
Congratulations on making your huge Thanksgiving feast ❤. I’m 68 years old have always enjoyed cooking & doing from scratch, but never a meal like you did. ❤️ This is the first year I did some of mine ahead of time. Did the turkey a week in advance, sliced it, covered in the drippings/broth & froze it. Also did some side dishes ahead of time. I was very nervous, but it all turned out amazing. And for the first time, I used almost all disposable pans & tableware, instead of the fine China, crystal & silverware. My FIRST Thanksgiving I was relaxed & spent time with my family, instead of washing dishes all day
Here is a great tip that's late...after putting the Turkey in the oven we do our potatoes. Mash them, heavy cream, butter, s/p. Put them in a crockpot on warm. Stir occationally. We actually have several crockpots of different sizes. Just check it occasionally and stir it. May have to add some warm milk. I love warm mashed potatoes!
Loved the video!! I’m sorry your yard got messed up but I love how you handled it with grace and you still found a way to be thankful even through the mess 💕💕 I’m glad y’all had a wonderful thanksgiving! And the food looks Devine! Great job Merina!!!
Who else was yelling at their device for Merina to flour the counter under the dough?? 😂😂😂 Good job, girl! No more anxiety while cooking!
Call your light company and tell them to come fix your yard. Its their responsibility to fix it. They did mine the same way and I called they were out the very next day and fixed the yard back.

You should be proud. Awesome food.
Been here since you had 13,000 subscribers. Thank you Jesus for our blessings. Thank you Merina and family.
I’m so proud of you girl! I can see the happiness that you have! You deserve everything and more! Thank you for sharing with us!
So proud of you girl! That’s a lot to cook. You did the dang thang! ❤
Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Im thankful for you for being my friend. Been feeling real lonely this holiday season. Not sure why. Just trying my best to make it a magical time for the kiddos.
Love ya'll lots! ❤
You are out alone honey🙏🏼❤️
I have never made a pumpkin pie from scratch. I didn’t realize they are so runny. lol. I always buy one already made. Good idea on the cooking sheet.
My goodness, Martha! You did a wonderful job, and i know your family appreciates all you do for them. High five!
I was raised with animals outside. No cooking around animals. I get it❤ bless your grandma ❤
Wonderful❤❤❤❤. Have a blessed night. You are such a sweetheart😊😊
We all should have gratitude with the smallest thing that we are blessed with.😊
Merina, you did great!
That was a lot to cook yourself! Amazing! You are quite the cook! I hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving!😊
I am so IMPRESSED. You now have to stop saying you don't know how to cook. Amazing job!
1 bag of coleslaw mix (sold in the vegetable section)
2 to 3 bigger size Roma tomatoes
Mayonnaise to taste
Either Spicy Brown or Regular Yellow Mustard to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste
Onion powder to taste
Garlic Powder to taste
Chop the Romas into small diced pieces
Mix all the ingredients together and refrigerate a couple of hours to allow flavors to develop
Enjoy (especially good on or with pulled pork or chicken or beef sandwiches or fried chicken)
I hope that you see this and like it. Keep up the wonderful work!
Thank you all so much I just love you guys have a Blessed and happy Thanksgiving ❤
So it shows having Faith does go a long way.I am glad you had a great 1st Thanksgiving in your new home and that I am sure it will be the first of many more happy memories for you all..God Bless you all 🥰
So thankful Jesus kept him safe ❤❤❤
Bless your heart Enjoyed watching you get your Thanksgiving dinner together Your homemade rolls looked awesome Have a great rest of the Thanksgiving weekend Love and Hugs

What a feast! Beautiful Thanksgiving spread and you did it all. That's no small feat so you really should be proud of yourself. It all looks delicious. Wow! 😊
we love you all, and Thank You for letting US share your lives 🥰 💙💗💙💙💗💗🤟🏻🎄
Wow , you go girl 🦃 everything looks delicious !! Happy Thanksgiving ❤️
I love Coltons sweater! He's got great taste! You can't beat the Ross deals. We don't have Ross but we have Gabe's... I think they're the same store just a different name
Wow! You're dinner looks amazing. Great job 🦃❤
The Little Debbie’s made me tear up. How sweet.
Lol👍🙏💕🇺🇸🐾😊
Happy Thanksgiving y'all. I'm so Thankful for all of you. I love you my sweet friends.
This video made me cry. I'm so happy to see you happy. You did an amazing job. I feel like the proud internet auntie. 😊 Have a blessed Sunday. 🙌
You never wait until the last minute to get your holiday food. Get everything the week before the holiday
Your feast looked good Merina. You did a good job! 🦃💗
My prayer for 2024 is that God sends me a Shane! 😂 You two make an excellent team!
Awwww Honey you’re so Welcome. As your extended Family you give back to me and is as well. We love you today and Always 🫶🏻
This is the first year I did some of mine ahead of time.
“Not to be confused with whole and whole”. That made my day😂!!! Thanks for the laugh!!!
Loved the video!! I’m sorry your yard got messed up but I love how you handled it with grace and you still found a way to be thankful even through the mess 💕💕 I’m glad y’all had a wonderful thanksgiving! And the food looks Devine! Great job Merina!!!
OK Merino, I am dying laughing at you cleaning your turkey. So hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My 14 year old did the turkey this. The best turkey I ever had. This child is a natural born cook. I'm so proud of him.
One question...where was the canned cranberry sauce? We can't eat dressing or turkey without it. Lol! Food looks great Marina! ❤ 🦃 🐖
