Apparently the ‘wrong’ knot means funeral so it’s really better to do it correctly.

      Thank you for the question!
The length of the diagonal line of a Furoshiki should be at least 3 times of the long side of your item😊
It is explained in this video below (00:35)

      Google says w common furoshiki size is 18in x 18in or 28in x 28in.

Traditionally, there are many sizes of Furoshiki.
I have a video explaining the sizes for different purposes here:

Thank you for sharing the name😊 I didn’t know the English name of the knot as English is not my first language. I didn’t mean to be exotic but this is how Furoshiki is tied in my country Japan. It’s traditionally called Mamusubi in my language.
I’ve seen many examples of ‘Furoshiki’ which are not tied correctly outside of Japan so I wanted to make a video about it for people who want to learn the traditional way.
      Thank you for your understanding.

Im sorry. I didn't intend to sound mean. And to a lot of people, a square knot isn't easy or intuitive. 🪢 I used to teach knots to Boy Scouts. I was impressed with your wrap.

@camckenzie why did you feel the need for telling someone they were twisting thing to make them more exotic when all they were doing was sharing a beautiful part of their culture? things can have multiple names yk. and how would you know? but your stuffs cool green wrapper, keep it up.
