Several were rescue's and the one who spent her first 2 years going in and outside lived inside with us for the last 15yrs of her life, never wanting out again. I have 3 indoor cats and they are very happy. As long as you have things for them to play with, a toilet you clean often and food and water sources they will be very happy. Cats, unfortunately, are bad for biodiversity so keeping them indoors is actually ideal!
