I agree, Midnight is very mysterious. All we know about her is that she's a girl, she's a Badger, She is dead, She talks (Well you know), she can understand foxes and cats, she can talk fox and cat, and she gave the location of the lake territory!
I was thinking "Wait! Midnight is not a cat!" Then I look back at the title. "She said characters in warrior cats not top 10 cats..." I would say that Ripple River, Darktail, Sol, Pinestar and One Eye are the most mysterious characters in the series. Ripple River keeps reminding everybody, mostly Gray Wing that he knows everything. Darktail is a dark character and that's all I know about him. I know that he's in Hawkwing's Journey and Shattered Sky, but I haven't yet had the chance to get my hands on those books yet. Sol is a clever fox-heart and anybody would say he's mysterious with his ways of thinking, but when you think about it he's just a non-clan cat Tigerstar/Brokenstar. Pinestar is a loyal clan LEADER but put his kittypet friend before his clan, which he's supposed to lead. I know there's a Pinestar "book" but don't read novellas. We barely knew anything on One Eye except he's Star Flower and he's friends with Slash.
