You can’t have known this but starting November of last year I entered the end of a cycle and I could see that it was a cycle that started for me in 2013 2014. During that time, I had to work situation where I was supervised by a very narcissistic person and it taught me so much, but I was so broken.. it took me years to come to a place where I understood that that time in my life was my greatest teacher. November 2023 I started supervising someone and I knew that roles had been reversed and now I could do this in a better way than my greatest teacher had done it. I knew this is a cycle of healing for me me. I didn’t know when this cycle would end but over these last few days to weeks I’ve seen it starting to come to a close. I am walking out of this cycle, stronger, more courageous, more confident person. All the things you said resonate with me so deeply. I finally understand my worth. They really just want for themselves, and seem incapable of a healthy connection or relationship. It’s been quite shocking and jarring, very sad and baffling… Wish it could have been different😞.
