I love the background singing and would have liked a little more of it. Harmony is good for the soul. I love Diane Birch as an artist. She is a breath of fresh air and makes us remember the good old days when Pop was pop and was really music. You hear a lot of other artists with her style. Karen Carpenter, Stevie Nicks, Kristin Massey, Sade, Daryl Hall. Diane is a very technical thinker. Her ability to sing the story pulls you in like a good book. I would love to engineer and mix a few tracks for her.

I also want to say that your producer has done you no favors, Diane. A song like this? Your words need to be crisp and clear, given the subject matter. Like an Adele treatment. Your musicality and nuance are extraordinary. In this regard, I think your producer has held you back from a more widespread appreciation.

She's not that unknown she had a UK top 10 hit with Devlin last year. Some similar singers haven't had a sniff of success.
