I sleep in the wagon at work and I even have nightmares of the wagon crashing into schools and hurting innocent children. When you wake up you feel relieved it was just a dream. I get where your coming from though buddy. 👍

I find when i do Vanlife videos I look shocking, about 90 years old, lack of sleep really gets to me. When I did a 10 day wales vanlife trip i was utterly drained towards the end, I could feel I was struggling, my skin was dry, eyes looked tired, mentally drained.. I guess the more you get out there, the easier it will get. I slept the best at Anglsey on the sand dunes. You and Nancy would love it there Tor.

@@BOTG_Adventures 🤣 you could be talking about me there. I have problems sleeping anyway regularly so it’s not surprising that sleeping random places in a Vehicle doesn’t help me much! I think I look half dead in most of my videos and I feel it too 🥱 I sleep best in the van when I’ve got to know a place. Makes me feel like I’m kind of failing at the whole thing sometimes as I still have a romanticised view of van life which would have me sleeping in beautiful remote places, which in practice can feel pretty scary after dark. I wish people talked about this more as usually i feel like I’m watching videos of people saying how they had the best night sleep and never mentioning that they ever struggled to get used to it.

ps. I always have problems sleeping, cant remember last time i slept right through. I didnt get ya email so I will have to give ya short version.
Grab yourself a Garmin, the 503 edge is small and ok, though you might want to look more of a hiking one. You can then download routes such as GPX from sites such as Komoot, All Trails and Strava, some times they don't always work so you can covert them (if you email ill explain but long on here)
I also always use what 3 words for the start of any hikes and give that to somebody so they know where I am setting off from for saftey especially when I am alone.
Once you finish, your GPX route can be saved or uploaded to one of those sites and saved privately or publicly, also means you can redownload it if you ever want to hike it again.. Im out solo again tonight in the Yorkshire Dales, got that heater on..
Hope ya have a belting weekend Tor.
      Andy.
