You know what, I think I was wrong. The most coddled star QB isn’t Burrow, it’s Josh Allen. Like my goodness, the guy had the ball with 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter and all he needed to do was get 3 points and he couldn’t do it, I remember that Lamar had to get a TD in the fourth against the bills and he did it without his top 2 receivers. I was told it’s not how you start the game but how you finish but all of a sudden when it comes to Lamar vs Josh that goes out the window. And I’m not exaggerating when saying Josh is the most coddled because not only was he defended on here but literally tons of people in the media asked “should we feel sorry for Josh Allen?” but when Lamar lost after leading the ravens down the field for a TD and having mark Andrews drop one of the easiest passes in his life to tie the game and potentially force overtime, the whole media asked “is ravens loss on Lamar Jackson?” Like I swear the treatment Lamar gets from the media compared to Joe burrow and Josh Allen is all time double standard. All I know is that if Lamar had the ball in his hands with 3 minutes left in the fourth quarter and had all his timeouts and he couldn’t even get 3 points on the board to tie the game, the whole media would’ve crushed him. Double standards
I swear he has the best PR of all-time. Everyone says he was robbed of MVP last year when in reality he came in 5th place last year, and was 2nd in the league in turnovers. And the Bills win streak to make playoff started when they took ball out of his hands and featured James Cook as Allen had 5 TDs / 5 INTs during their win streak to finish the season. THey also make you forget that he also failed down 3 points last year with the ball in his hands. They all talk about a Diggs drop but if you go rewatch the game they got the first down after that drop only for Josh to get away with a ball that should have been intercepted, an acutal fumble that they were lucky to recover, and a missed Diggs who was open for a first down as he also missed another WR that was in the endzone. THen in another game vs the Chiefs in the playoffs where he had great stats, he padded his stats in garbage time after the Chiefs were up 38-15 in the 4th quarter with only 7 min remaining. Truly the only wire to wire impressive performance he's had in the playoffs was the 13 seconds game.
Could it also be that Lamar Jackson has two, potentially three MVPs, so therefore, the standards for him will be a lot higher than Josh Allen? Once you win those MVPs, you are judged a lot more harshly compared to everyone else. Also, Lamar had two turnovers in that game that came down to one-posession, whereas Josh Allen, although didn't score, didn't have those possessions. Don't get me wrong, Josh Allen should have finished that drive with a touchdown, but he did play well, so I get your point. However, I wanted to provide some context here.
@@IvanPerez-k4w Everyone tries this same tired argument the problem is ppl try to have it both ways. They want to say Lamar should have higher expectations because of MVPs while simultaneously ranking Josh Allen higher on their personal QB Rankings. You can't have it both ways. Cant let Josh Allen have the privilege of being the QB Ranked higher but also give him lower expectations. And the problem is overall hypocrisy. Ppl who say Lamar played terrible or he choked after leading an 88 yard drive, while Allen two years in a row failed to get a TD drive and this year couldn't even cross the 50 to even get his team in position to kick a FG. Ppl are all about his stats too without context of all the turnover worthy plays he had in both games. And we're not talking about diving INT attempts, we're talking balls that hit defenders right in the bread basket and multiple fumbles that Bills were insanely lucky to recover.
He did get it done but had 2 TDs and no turn overs. Y’all quickly forget that Joe Brady is calling the plays in those 4th and 1 situations and the multiple bad spots. The bills defense did not play well at all this game
Literally placed an extremely catchable ball while being instantly pressured on that 4th down. And then watched his defense give up a first down when they could have gotten the ball back. Yeah, Josh could have played better. But to sit and act as if he didn’t deliver in that moment is outright ridiculous
@@larry2281 The thing is all the Bills fans were talking shit after beating the Ravens but at least Lamar went down the field and got a TD, his TE just dropped the two-point conversion. Josh had 3.5 minutes to tie and or win the game and didn't do either. Not to mention, yes Kincaid dropped it but Shakir was wide open to the left for an easy 20-30 yard pick up since the Chiefs were all on the right side of the field which was the far better option than bombing it into triple coverage.
Can we stop acting like that Allen throw at the end of the game was some perfect pass??? He fucking chucked the ball up in the air off his back foot, it was a glorified hail mary
Deadass was a prayer. I think on twitter it’s like a moving breakdown of the play and Josh threw it so far behind bro had to run back to it that’s how he dropped it
Stop talking. To even get a throw off in that situation is beyond insane. For yourself or any fan to say what you are preaching shows just how little many many fans like yourself know about football
@ it was great that he got it off but ppl make it seem like it was this magical ball Allen threw on a prope for a dime and it wasn’t. It was a prayer that was so bad the guy had to stop his route and run the opposite direction
The pass was near perfect under the pressure. He didn't just "chuck up" the ball and hoped it was a prayer. Look at the sky cam footage. He saw Kincaid and threw it under pressure on his back foot and Kincaid misjudged the ball and dropped it.
Y’all are terrible for trying to compare Josh not being able to get a first down to Lamar marching 80 yards, getting a touchdown, and the tragic 2pt. Dells I feel you brother. This shit is sad. Josh had way more turnover worthy plays but yall gon sit here and glaze josh for his te not being able to catch a prayer
@@animetone9335 Josh did everything he could to put his team in the hole, he's lucky the Chiefs didn't recover any of his three fumbles or his gift wrapped INTs that went right through their hands. And at the end of the day he got the ball back down 3 and couldn't even get his team in FG range. Just like last year he got the ball down 3 and couldn't drive his team for the go ahead score and was even lucky that game to avoid an INT and to recover a fumble on that drive. And in his one AFCCG appearance the score was 38-15 with 7 minutes to go. In other words, Josh Allen has never even been close to a Super Bowl. As bad as Lamar has played, it was a scenario where Ravens were one drive away from being in Super Bowl. Josh has never been close.
@@animetone9335 Lamar still did enough to win the game. the issue here is that people are just not going to give you excuses when you lose and make mistakes that show up in the stat sheet. I'm a Ravens fan so of course this comes with bias but this also isn't new for Lamar in games in general. He has always shared a larger percentage of the blame for losing games even in the regular season when other players around him aren't doing their part either compared to other QBs. All season long people were talking about Kelce being washed but in their first playoff game, he did what needed to be done. Lamar's "security blanket" fumbled and dropped the ball when Lamar needed him most and that's just one example. But like I said when you make mistakes that show up in the stats all excuses and reasons are out the window if you lose.
Lamar Jackson has more post season turnovers than touchdowns, he also has consistently had better defenses than Joe Burrow and Josh Allen and choked at home in the AFC Championship... We're done with Lamar
No it was Josh fault. Tom Brady, RC and Shannon Sharpe explained where he went wrong. Kincaid was trying to run to the ball and help Josh. Josh didn't pick up the blitz correctly and switch coverage.
He isn’t. He’s had clutch moments, that’s all. Everyone focuses on the 4th down throw, and forgets Josh had three previous downs to move the ball and failed.
@@larry2281 that is correct. Scoring 2 TDS against the 28th ranked defense without their #1 CB is not clutch. We saw Allen with 3:30 left. He got 5 yards. 😂🤣
Let's be honest, since the 13 seconds game, Josh Allen has had two opprunities to beat KC late in the 4th down by only 3 each time in the playoffs... his net result is 0 points scored both times. Maybe just maybe deep down in Josh Allen's subconscience he knows the Reaper is real, and he plays QB for the Chiefs.
11:30 the ravens didn’t have Zay flowers ,Rashad Bateman or Derrick Henry on the field with Lamar had to go 90 Lamar went 90 and scored, no James Cook bills can’t you make it past midfield with Allen
The Bills D held The Chiefs to a FG, what more do you want ? Josh got the ball back with 3:33 with all his TOs . It was his moment to "shine" he simply failed...

I fell off my bike and sprained my wrist. I'm in a lot of pain and need rest. And as a Chiefs fan listening to a bunch of people bicker about the bills is rocking me to sleep
If you think Josh did good enough on the last drive just because he chucked up a "catchable" ball on 4th down (while ignoring his missed throws on 1st and 2nd). you probably don't understand football. He played a B or B+ game overall. He had some incredible throws, but this wasn't a particularly good game for what we should expect from him at this point. The Bills were overall pretty fortunate on recovering fumbles/dropped interceptions (and probably had a couple favorable "no calls" on false starts on two key plays that turned into points...) but that luck really just made the game look falsely closer than it probably should have been. Chiefs were the better team.
Neither Josh and Lamar did enough to win. Yall are all making the same arguments and disagreements for the players yall prefer when they both underperformed.
So haven’t the chiefs been giving up alot of points in this match up aswell? “The chiefs defense played great” they gave up 29 “The bills defense was trash” they gave up 32 I agree the chiefs were better but to act like allen couldn’t move the ball and score while mahomes was going up and down is crazy
I don't disagree but the Bills in their last 5 playoff losses have forced a total of 8 punts. Their defense gives up an average of 3.52 points a drive. To put in respective the Ravens forced the Chiefs to punt 6 times in one game last year in the AFCCG. The defense in their 6 losses gives up 33.3 points a game. Ravens defense gives up 18 a game and he is 3-5. Burrow in his losses gives up 23 a game and he's 5-2.
This is an amazing LEBRON vs MJ debate. Do you wanna be the do-it-all QB with the numbers (Allen) or do you want to be the best QB, making the most important plays to win the game (Mahomes). Allen is LeBron, Mahomes is MJ.
No body makes an excuse for the other great QBs that never won the Superbowl so why should Josh Allen get a pass. When a team teams a game the QB takes all the credit and when a team loses a game the QB takes all the blame, it shouldn't be any different for Josh Allen
Josh Alan ain’t good enough. He couldn’t get past Burrow, he’s never got past Mahomes; and in this last game in the first few minutes he was visibly shaking in arrowhead Stadium. He doesn’t believe he can win and that sent a message to the whole team. They lost that game before the ball was kicked. Alan ain’t good enough…I’m sorry to have to say it to you guys. 3 minutes and 33 seconds and 3 time outs and Allen crashed and burned? Give Burrow 3’33”… and don’t talk about Mahomes; he only needs 18 seconds! Josh ain’t got it, I don’t know what else to tell you!!
It’s really that simple. If Mahomes had failed in that exact scenario, they would not be making excuses for him about why his TE dropped the mini-hail Mary.
So put some accountability on the coaching on play calling the qb is an extension of the play caller…. Chiefs were able to move the ball with ease, with Bills it looked like they were pulling teeth yet JA still made crazy plays especially for the hollins and Curtis Samuel td
@@buyystocks you don’t have to imagine 2021-2023 the bills D only allowed 17 points per game .. where did that get them? Those same years the chiefs gave up 21 points per game. So he had a better defense than Pat.. did he beat Pat in the playoffs?? All the wishful thinking is cute tho lol
Y’all are not accounting for Spags his blitz calls in big situations have been as big a part of their championships than anything else and the blitz they called on the 4th and 5th was perfect not much Josh could have done and he still gave his receiver a chance

2% of the blame being on josh is so embarrassingly biased that it's hard to take the conversations seriously. Played mid the first half, got lucky the chiefs' defenders had butter fingers, then failed to do anything in a what could have been final drive to secure the win. Whatever % you give lamar blame in his loss josh should be damn close to it.
Yeah, 2% is crazy. But he clearly did more to win this game than Lamar did. First off, he didn’t turn the ball over. Yes, he had the turnover worthy plays, they didn’t end up going over. He led the Bills to 4 touchdown drives, made the throw to Samuel on 4th down for a TD. Huge scramble first down on the last drive, and made an incredible throw into Kincaids hands who just can’t make it. No, it’s not even close to as easy as Andrew’s catch should have been. That’s why Allen is probably at like 50% his fault for this overall game and like 30% for that throw. But his line gave him no time all game and he gave him a chance to catch that ball and he simply could not. He should’ve played better on a few of the drives. But Lamar was the one who actually turned it over twice. He was the one who put them in a hole. He made a great throw that should have been caught as well, but it wasn’t. That game is on Lamar like 60% for actually giving the ball away, but it’s like 1% his fault on the Andrews throw. Sure, it was a little low, but I think most college tight ends come up with that one. Just can’t act like Allen didn’t play very very good in this one.
@@austinblevins6942those 2 turnovers were 100% his fault and didn’t happen because the dbs on both plays had horrible hands. Both passes were in the defenses hands, 9 times outta 10 those are picks and you know that
Yeah I guess Josh should go down there and catch it himself. Back to back years Josh has made throws and his receiver dropped it. They had 3 last year including Diggs having the biggest one followed with his kicker missing a 40 yarder and this year it was Kincaid. Probably Josh's fault though right?
Kincaid literally leaped backwards for a wobbling ball with 3 guys in front of him he made a good effort for the ball that ball couldve been caught by 5 different players
The way they describe the play, you'd think it was the easiest catch of all time. They honestly made it seem like it should have been caught as much as the Mark Andrew's drop, which is hilarious
Numbers aren't everything. Mahomes didn't have the best numbers but he got every first down that matters. Exactly what yall said - chiefs didn't score on the first 2-3 drives in the second half... UNTIL they had to score, UNTIL they had to run the clock out and they do it every time. The last 2 years Allen had the ball against the Chiefs end of game and didn't score. You can't just claim numbers when you don't make the plays when they matter most.
Came down to coaching point blank period!!! Spaggz and Reid was playing Chess while McDermott and Brady was playing checkers, I’m a Bills fan also the refs wasn’t a factor either, we have to stop making excuses
Lamar is 3-5 in the playoffs and has lost to Allen both times. The playoff statistics aren’t even close either. Allen has performed better than Lamar and it’s not even close. It goes Mahomes first obviously, but this Lamar narrative being the same as Allen in the playoffs is laughable. He’s likely a 3x MVP and he only has 3 playoff victories. The most over hyped and coddled player is Lamar. You can just look at Ryan Clark as a prime example of that. He ripped into Allen last year after losing to KC, but then coddled Lamar this year when he lost to Allen again. And gee, I wonder why he would hold two different stances with these two guys 🙄.
@@RCS2774 Nice straw man. Ppl are saying ppl are hypocrites and stat sheet warriors when it comes to Josh Allen when watching the game you see how lucky he is to not have multiple turnovers in his last game and on the final drive of last year and in the last 2 years failed to put his team in position to take the lead when he got the ball back down 3 points. In fact he’s still living off that 13 seconds game. That was the only loss where he played great wire to wire. All his other losses his team got blown out like vs Bengals or he scored in garbage time like first matchup vs Chiefs or he failed to win the game when his defense gave him the ball back and a chance to do so like the last two Bills matchups and his first playoff L vs Houston
Tons of respect for you guys. Love the listen! I’m a Buffalo fan so obviously I have my Josh bias but the criticism is valid. That why I respect the Lamar fan. He believes in him and it shows. I respect it.
Josh Allen is getting the Aaron Rodgers treatment. Plays good-great in the play offs, and his defense sucks. How many games did Mahomes win, and his defense bails him out. Mahomes wasn’t up for the moment, most this season, and his defense carried him. Lamar hasn’t shown up…Allen is way better in the play offs than Lamar.
Lamar & Allen are regular season merchants, nothing more nothing less. Buffalo is 0-4 against Kansas City in the postseason with Allen as QB, and they lost in every way imaginable in each contests. It’s very simple to me: Unless Cincinnati can find a way to stop starting each season slowly and become a regular playoff fixture KC will have no real threats in route to Super Bowl after Super Bowl
He made the throw but didn’t give himself time to actually make it not a Hail Mary , you can’t just say he showed up because “he made the throw” on the last play when he missed a receiver for a clear first down earlier in the drive that would have kept it from being a 4th down to begin with
@ he had how many plays on that drive? If it didn’t end in a touchdown or at least 3 how can anyone say he showed up? The last throw he made was super difficult too but he “made” that one.. it’s a ridiculous argument because even if the TE makes the catch that still doesn’t guarantee that they score. If he showed up on 4th where was he on 1st-3rd?
The only People who will ever have the take that josh is better than mahomes are josh allen fans or bills fans so no if josh won we wouldn’t think that just delusional fans
Another player that get unfair shake from media is Russell Wilson, All he has been a model citizen and professional player in wining and losing, in his young prime, his passing accuracy iwas so efficient closer to Rogers
when it was time for lamar to show up he had an amazing drive where andrews fumbled they bare minimum get 3 points on that drive then the next drive he goes 5/5 and gets the TD.. and andrews drops the conversion. yes he had two TOs in the first half buh he negated them once he got them back in the game if andrews doesn’t fumble and drop the conversion they win that game plain and simple. riv be switchin up narratives week to week
The guy saying the defense is right the last 2 previous meetings Allen had gotten the lead one game I think Mahomes had 30 seconds when down and won and the other a minute and Mahomes went down again.
I think what you guys failed to mention is the challenges the Bills would have faced against the Eagles, had they managed to beat the Chiefs. The objective is for them to win the Super Bowl, not just to beat the Chiefs. The Bills just don’t have enough star power on defense. Mahomes turned the ball over vs Allen & Purdy (last SB) and neither of them had turnovers. Eli Manning has 2 SBs because of his defense and he’s nowhere near the QB that Josh Allen is. Now, Mahomes is better than Allen and is the second greatest QB ever for now. But the day may come where Allen beats him, loses in the SB, and never wins because his team overall was never good enough. Just saying.
A coin-flip?! Mahomes is on a different level then burrow Allen and Lamar can fight it out for who is left. Maybe Jayden is the next Mahomes who knows lol but of these 4 it’s not even close
@@animetone9335 You'd have a semblance of a point if Lamar didn't throw a dot to get his team in position to tie the game before the OC cost them 4 not getting the ball to Henry on the goaline. The refs cost them another 7 by an atrocious DPI call that was much worse than any call the Bills complain about vs the Chiefs. And Mark Andrews cost them a TD drive plus the 2 point conversion. Lamar had more than made up for his two turnovers before all those other factors. And Josh Allen did everything he could to lose his team the game putting the ball in harms way half a dozen times. He also failed to even cross the 50 yard line when it mattered the most.
The part yall are missing about josh allen being trash the opening drive is that they won the coin toss and chose to receive, which means instead of guaranteeing an extra second half possession, they wanted to come out and score first and keep pressure on KC. Josh ruined that "game script" lol from the jump so stop making excuses for him. Also whichever dude came was using the term "game script" is a goofball.

Even this season week 1 against the Chiefs with less than 2 minutes remaining I saw Lamar Jackson lead a drive from his 10 yard line to the chiefs 10 yard line against the same good defense, he could atleast gotten 3 points
Coaching lost the bills that game. After the Dalvin Cook touchdown drive. The bills had 2 other drives and didn’t give to Cook at all. Those 2 drives. Buffalo got conservative on offense and didn’t make good adjustments on defense
Josh only ever losses to Pat (and Burrow *once) in the offs, Lamar loses to everyone, to Josh 2x. I don’t see where the Lamar>Josh argument in the off’s has any legs. Josh definitely didn’t make enough plays to win and Lamar put his team in position to tie it up with a 80 yard drive with 2 min left. However, Josh didn’t turn the ball over.. Lamar did, twice.
The issue is that everyone has two eyes, to see that Lamar clearly outplayed Allen in both matchups this year. You're Josh Allen, playing at home, and you BARELY beat a team that had their top receiver injured, 3 turnovers, a horrendous DPI call, their second best receiver injured in the 4th, and a 2-pt drop... yet you only win by 2 points If all of Heaven, Earth and Luck wasn't on the Bills side, the Ravens would've blown them out by 17+ points. We can't lie to ourselves about Allen. He DOESN'T have to be superman to win against dumb teams like the self-beating Ravens, but when he NEEDS to be superman against Mahomes, he falls short, 0-4

Not to mention, yes Kincaid dropped it but Shakir was wide open to the left for an easy 20-30 yard pick up since the Chiefs were all on the right side of the field which was the far better option than bombing it into triple coverage.

No bs. Whenever the bills lose to the chiefs Josh defense let them down like mahomes defense ain’t get absolutely shredded 😂

Just wrong. Mahomes can do it all and/or be the best QB. Mahomes is LeBron and Jordan.
Don’t ever mention that playoff choker Allen again with the same as the goat LeBron
Whatever % you give lamar blame in his loss josh should be damn close to it.
No nigga, Josh deserves about 30%. Lamar gets at least 50%
