In this video, we'll be continuing our series on building a Full Stack E-commerce App using Next.js 13. Specifically, we'll be focusing on setting up Multer and Cloudinary for image storage and management.
Multer is a middleware used for handling multipart/form-data, which is primarily used for uploading files. We'll be using it to upload images to our server. Cloudinary, on the other hand, is a cloud-based image and video management service that we'll use to store and manage the images we upload.
We'll start by installing and configuring Multer to handle image uploads, including setting up the directory where images will be stored on our server. Then, we'll move on to configuring Cloudinary by creating an account, generating an API key, and installing the required dependencies. Finally, we'll integrate Multer with Cloudinary to upload images directly to the cloud and retrieve them from there whenever we need them.
Whether you're building an e-commerce app or just want to learn more about working with image uploads and cloud-based storage, this video is sure to be an informative and practical guide. So sit back, relax, and let's get started!

Hello sir, why we are first uploading the file to local public folder instead of direct uploading an image to cloudinary? Plz reply ASAP... @Coding With Abbas

Hi!, is this working on Vercel deploy?, I'm doing a project where I'm uploading images in a admin dashboard, now I'm having some problems when trying to upload an image to cloudinary on my deployed project , something about multipart form data. I have no problem in local, so I was wonder if your approach would help, In case it does I would do it your way, this is taking me a lot of time to resolve till now!!!
