Catching a flying bird with food in it's beak is a wonderful shot. But even though I concentrate on nature, my favorite image is your December picture. The Golden light at night was a wonderful contrast to the black background.
Amazing pics. 2020 is a year many of us would like to forget but somehow it will be stuck in our collective memories forever. Let’s hope for a better 2021. Happy New Year.
Hi Peter, really enjoyed your images & the stories behind them. May image of an empty center in Helsinki truly summed of the year 2020 for the entire world. Living in a crowded city like Los Angeles was also eerie to see a people-less downtown during the lockdown. Thank you for sharing & looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
Happy New Year to you and yours Peter! Thank you for these images, your superb videos and for keeping the inspiration alive throughout a most difficult year.
The February image is very poetic diving the so mundane object into a fancy light. The march image is interesting not only because of the mixec light but almost of the unseen part giving rise to many speculations... The August image is very interesting but here the term cliché is appropriate... Thank you and have a good new year!
Thanks Peter for sharing your beautiful images and thoughts behind why you chose them. I agree with you about taking meaningful images, rather than trying to get "likes" on social media. Your videos are always informative; looking forward to seeing what's coming in 2021.
It's so good to see how you define yourself as a photo artist this way, Peter. The images were delightful ! Thanks for everything you shared with us this year. Your wisdom and insight is highly valued.
Always a good idea to go over last years pic’s. I enjoyed the video and since you give us an assignment every month it might be an idea to pick a picture from every month contributions and do a video about those.
Great images and it’s always nice to hear a little of the stories behind the images! Would love to test also the new 100-400mm or the 150-400 f/4.5 pro. I will be sending my image to you tomorrow when I have time! Let’s make the 2021 even better for photos! Happy new year! ☺️✌🏻
I've been very lucky living in Guernsey through the pandemic as I've been subject to very little restriction. At it's worst in March/April we were restricted to 2 hours outdoors which I used to walk my dogs (and take photographs). This has been the best year for me on the photographic front and the highlight has been having my first solo exhibition. Peter, you will know that you encouraged me to try for this and I'm pleased that I listened to you and managed to achieve it. Thank you for hosting your channel throughout the year and for giving your time so willingly. My favourite image of the twelve you presented is February, the backlit cobweb in the dusty room. Hyvää uutta vuotta.
Hyvää Uutta Vuotta! I am very happy for you that you had the exhibition. I think you have a lot of talent. Hope you will photograph even better photographs next year!
Thanks for sharing. I liked the first eagle shot and the flying bird shot. This year I haven’t been out shooting much, so next year I plan on doing more photographing. I also haven’t taken the time to go through my images taken this year, so maybe I’ll get get started with that. Have a Happy New Year’s and I look forward to next year. 🥳 👋
Who that spiral stairway is true art 👍 I agree with making meaningful photos some times you get lucky My best photos were taken 45 years ago when I was 13 and shot black and white Have to disagree my Olympus 12-60mm was my perfect lens My daughter wore it out some day ill get it fixed.
@@ForsgardPeter Today I bought my 9-18mm for my new M1-Mark 2. In 2021 I go on shooting TH-cam Videos. I always used CANON. Untill now. Have not tested my Olympus yet. Amazing to use a new Camera :)
Nice video Peter. Since discovering you,i really enjoyed your videos. Some questions. Are you still going to be a "olympus/OM ambassedor in future and will you continue with the olympus/OM brand. Happy new year to you and your family and see you in the new year.
Hello Peter. Jose from Puerto RIco. It's been quite a while since I commented here, but I just wanted to let you know that I purchased a used Olympus E-M1 Mark II. I finally took a leap and got it but it hasn't arrived yet so I will keep you posted. I also have to get a lens for it. Slowly but surely I'll be set up with it. After much deliberation I considered getting a used one since my budget is limited and with this COVID thing going on, you have too do it. I still believe this camera has an impressive feature set, so I will be going to your site and others who use the camera to get tips and tricks to get the best use of it. Goodbye for now. Thanks for your great content on your channel.
Nice photos. And I agree with you; try to take "meaningful photos". It is much better if a photo triggers a feeling than scores some likes on Instagram.

Feb and Sep pictures are really cool. And Dec is a picture that can go in a tourist guide or a stock photo library.
Thanks.

That is a good idea. Lets see what I will do. Now I have a certain genre or subject, but the inspiration could be an image that I made.
Great video Peter, thank you for everything. I wish you a wonderful New Year and that 2021 may be a better Year.

Wonderful Video! "May" is historical. I personal like the "February" the most. Looks like a Rembrandt :-)
