I am from Dorset so know all these places very well. Dorset is a beautiful county and if you've never been you are missing out. The weather is some of the best in the UK, not to mention the wonderful selection of pubs. Most of the places visited here have a long history, and even hauntings, if you are into that stuff. Dorset is a treasure that can give you a memory to keep forever.
I’ve actually been planning it for over 2 years so 3rd year lucky as previous two years I’ve had to cancel. I’ve got a whole itinerary all planned out, also some great restaurants but thanks for the tip.

@@TravelwithRidhi I'm actually from the UK but moved to California 20 years ago and even though while we were in the UK we travelled the width and depth of the country but for some strange reason never visited the Dorset area except Weymouth and few other places and now I know what we have missed. I have subscribed to your channel and will watch your postings. Thanks.
Thank you. Which part of California do you live in? I imagine the weather is a lot nicer there than it is in the UK. You will have to come back to the UK one day and visit the places you missed.
@@TravelwithRidhi We live in the San Francisco Bay Area in a city called San Jose which is about 40 miles South of San Francisco. The weather here is generally nice and warm but lately has been pretty cold. Actually it does get cold during Winter months but slowly is warming up and at the moment is pretty sunny. We have been back to the UK several times since we moved away but next time when we are back we will dedicate a big chunk of our time visiting Dorset and the Jurassic coast. We are huge fans of Devon and Cornwall and we travelled many many times to those two counties, maybe that is why we haven't visited Dorset often. It is the cream teas you see!!! LOL!!
Lol! I do love the cream teas too. Hoping to go to Cornwall this summer too. What a coincidence! I know San Jose very well. I have family there and have visited many times. It’s lovely there. Will hopefully to visit again in the next year 😊

I try to improve in every video I upload. It’s not easy filming on my iPhone so hope to upgrade to a better camera in the future but they’re not cheap. You can do it Rahul. Try to collaborate with hotels, hostels etc

Hi Nard. There are no special permissions. As long as you have your pilots license and operator ID on the drone plus follow the countries guidelines you will be fine. There are certain countries that don’t allow drones so always check before taking your drone and if you use DJI maps they can show you the recommended safe fly zones.
Great video - very useful information and the quality of the video is amazing. We will be going there couple of months from now but worried about the Covid testing on day two. Does anyone know if day 2 arrival testing available in Dorset?
Thanks Sandi. You don’t need a test to go to Kew Gardens currently. However, if you are entering the UK from abroad you do need to do a day 2 test. You can do this at Bournemouth airport which you will need to book in advance. Hope that helps 😊
Hi Magda, I googled the top locations in Dorset and then with a map I pinpointed the routes so I was efficient with my time. I was there for 3 days and you will need a car. Hope you have a great trip 😊

Your photography was good, but you gave nothing about the history. My Family originate from the village of Corfe. The Castle owners supported the King during the English Civil war. When the war was over the Parliamentarians came to the Castle with a lot of gun-powder, but not enough totally destroy it. That is why it is as it appears now.
