I think of FR dolls as the snobby glitterati of the doll universe. They live in those designer mansions that you can only get at FAO Schwarz. Barbie, and the other dolls you collect are the “Everydolls” of the universe. They have whimsy-which you use with aplomb in your storytelling and crafts. Plus Integrity Toys are so darned expensive. I know you’ve already done exhaustive research, and I’m sure you know that you can sometimes find good deals on eBay-but we’re still talking hundreds and hundreds of dollars. Plus, since Integrity makes very limited quantities of male dolls, they are sparse and even pricier. No guys in the Dollyverse. Have you checked out Robert Tonner’s Tyler Wentworth dolls? They’re 16” dolls, but they are a little less expensive and easy to find on eBay. And in my opinion, a little less pretentious. Nonetheless I can’t wait to see what you create with the FR dolls. If anyone can find the whimsy in them-it’s you.

This is a very beautiful doll. For sure, she’s a “buy” at $110. However, she is much more now in 2021, as happens with most Integrity dolls: they end up becoming $300+ dolls because of the small number made of each type.

I love my Dree Hill IT doll. She was one of my first purchases a couple of years back. I was lucky to find her as a Nude Doll and made her own clothing and shoes.

For the earrings, making a hole with a pin first really helps. They always have the beginnings of the piercings, sometimes you can pop the earrings in, but usually using a pin first makes it a thousand times easier.

If you think the girls are expensive at $110 (which is actually a lesser price compared to other IT dolls), you don’t even want to get the guys (Hommes). Love the new doll Toya! There are a lot of TH-cam channels that review IT dolls (Toy Chat (Max and Sang) and Suresh NY (Suresh)). Hopefully this helps. Suresh gives very detailed reviews of the clothing because he knows the fashion industry and vocabulary. Max and Sang have memberships with IT, so they know a lot about how to purchase IT toys.
Also they sell just the heads of a lot of integrity dolls and that whole type so you can put them on another body it might be a less expensive alternative
