I had that same experience during my time at Japan too. I even signed with that because I was alone that time. She (the cult girl) is my friend's friend. We met at supermarket when me and my friend was shopping. I thought at 1st it was my chance to get Japanese friend. But apparently she just want me to join her cult lmao. It was so sus when she and the leader of the cult ask me to not wear any cross related stuffs xD
