Hello! For someone doing pipe work and using point cloud data of an existing space and converting it to a 3D model, would Revit be a good option? I have a friend who currently uses AutoCAD and a specialized 3D Plant toolset, but he is looking to increase efficiency a bit. Would Revit help this person with better ease of use?
I would appreciate any input you might have!

At Undet, we frequently work with Plant and prefer using Revit over AutoCAD for its ease in 3D modeling with the combined features of Undet and Revit. While the transition from CAD to BIM might be challenging at first, it will ultimately save time in the long run.

When you are creating dynamic views, please select "Calculate distance" and UNDET will create a dynamic view from the first visible point, the created view will be much cleaner. Otherwise, you should clean (remove unnecessary) points in scan data registration software before creating the UNDET project.

      Hello, Nurul Shafira.
If we are talking about Undet for Revit there are two ways how You can do that. First one is to adjust thickness size of dynamic image. Another way is to turn of unnecessary scan positions files or data groups.

Use Autodesk Recap for Cleaning unnecessary point cloud .
