Baits from NTUC Fairprice. Will it work? - Kayak Fishing Singapore

Hi everyone,
Welcome back!
Been a while since my launches have been fruitful but the will to hunt is still strong.
Decided on an early launch and to end the session earlier than usual. Only had some dead prawns and bought some yellowstripe scads from NTUC Fairprice the night before to use as baits. Haha....I ended throwing the prawns to the sea!
Not the first time using scads bought from supermarkets as bait. If you're lucky, something will hit those baits!
Did a bit of jigging and got a lucky strike.

how do u rig the fish bait?

Just a simple sliding ball rig with single 4/0 circle hook.
Hook the fish through the mouth with hook going through the head or hook slightly infront of its dorsal fin.
