Hello Happy Travelers!
Welcome onboard the newest and largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas! This is the first ship in the Icon class so we are very excited to check out all the new features! We are very excited to be onboard this innovating ship for a 3 night preview sailing departing from Port Miami and visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay as well as the 7 night inaugural sailing departing from Miami and visiting St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Thomas, and Perfect Day at CocoCay! These sailings are going to be ICONIC!!! 😜
It is day 3 on the inaugural sailing of Icon of the Seas! We had a super fun day playing around in the Surfiside neighborhood designed specifically for kids (and big kids 😜). We ended the day watching the new INCREDIBLE Aqua Show “AquaAction”! It even gave Aqua80 a run for its money!

I don't know if anything can top Aqua 80. Like you said, it is also near and dear to my heart, since I am an 80s kid. We got a cabin right at the end of the boardwalk so I could watch it as much as possible. It is my favorite show on ANY RC ship.

Was so great to of met you guys on this day whilst you waited for the aqua show! We had watched the show already on the first night but managed to see it again with a seat right at the front in the splash zone which I thought was worth it as it was so enjoyable!
I also think this show is a close second to Aqua 80 as that is in a whole different category due to the music and concept of travelling back to the 80s which I love especially since I’m a big back to the future fan 😁

Hi! I do agree, it was a little difficult to see the very front of the pool with the heads. Overall it worked well for us because it was a more comfortable seat but I agree if you want the best view you would have to sit closer. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
Hey Matt. Quick question for you. Around 5 minutes in you guys were getting drinks from The Lemon Post and as you were getting them you said “diamond drinks”. Is that how you use the free drinks from Diamond and above?
Hi! Yes, so with your Diamond drinks you can redeem them at pretty much any bar including alcoholic drinks, mocktails, sodas, waters, etc. The only exception we have come across is that you can't redeem them at the Bionic Bar on ships that have it. So when you go to the bar you just order and tell the bartender that you wanted to use one of your diamond drink credits. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
@@HoffmanHappyTravels it certainly does. We are cruising again this winter and we will be diamond for the first time on that cruise. I need to make the most of our perks.
As an older cruiser with some back and hip issues I would probably have to skip the aqua show unless I could get a seat with back support. That kind of seating looks super limited. I’m not a fan of taking out the solarium to fit this venue. I like the aqua area better on oasis ships. Outside and its own area in the back of the ship and way more seating.
Hi Michelle! Your opinion is totally valid! It is tough with he limited seating. I do wish more of the seating had backing, I feel it would be a simple but much appreciated accommodation. It's a beautiful venue but requires you to be more prepared. Thanks for watching! 🤗❤️🚢
