    This framework kind of helps but solving a real case scenario would be highly helpful.

    Your way of breaking down any framework into little blocks of information is truly exceptional Soumi, it really makes us understand the entire process very easily! Thank you so much for all these prep videos!!

    Maam, I have been watching your videos for long now, and I can say that you are an expert in creating a mind map, just by communicating!!
    I was able to imagine a map of the 4 parts of "whether to enter a market" very easily !!
    Also, can we use BCG matrix too, as u explained in the previous video, to determine whether the existing product will be fit for the new market or not?
    (Loved this insider case study gyaan, waiting for more cases!!)

      Awesome!! If you are able to do that, try to do the same in a consulting interview...that's the power of structuring. And thank you :)

    Great video- could you share what are the underlying factors that drive growth in market size? I am thinking the growth in customer segment is already linked with that- so in a way when we assess how quickly the market size is growing we will be taking an assumption on growth in customer size as well

    Hi sommy,
    I really loved this video! But I have never given a consulting position job interview before so I was just wondering that how can I ask so many questions to the interviewer? Like do we like discuss all these things like market size/customer preference /product design verbally or will they provide us some sort of data to work on? I’m really confused coz if I ask all these queries to interviewer I’m afraid he might just think I’m interviewing him! So plz share your thoughts on this?

    Hi Soumi, Thanks so much for this video. I have one case I've faced: "A chemical mfg player intends to decide if it can enter US market with 7Bn investment." Do we need to consider 4Bn in calculations or can go ahead with 2 parts framework like you mentioned in this video? I directly went with 4Bn as capital and started doing profitability and came up with break-even. I missed other components you mentioned.

    • @InsiderGyaan
      @InsiderGyaan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Theres no one way to solve a case. J think in this case, breakeven calc ok since they specifically asked about the inv amt. However for a holistic answer, always good to call out other things the company should see - either at beginning or towards end of the case

    While talking about a market entry case we should consider three parts: Market Feasibilty, Operations and Risks. You missed the third part. I hope you'll keep eye to this in the upcoming vidoes.
