The chain of houses is my favorite method. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Very nice explanation, I am a big house user I can say it that way. Love and light, Alexandre

I definitely prefer the distance method but not as dramatic as ‘dog close’ then friendship vs ‘dog far’ then treachery. I would rather say that the consultant is not counting on friends or distant from them. I rely on proximity rather than chain of houses because I find it more fluid and less complicated. Great video Kelly.

Great video Kelly. Thank you. The Game of Hope website is no longer active. Shame, because I love those cards and would like a set for myself.

Sorry, I didn't quite get why the chain ended with the cross card? The 6th link card was the rider, which was in the house of the coffin (8). After that, the coffin card was in the house of the Anchor, which was the 7th link. Shouldn't we then proceed and locate the anchor card as our next link (in the house of the child)?
I'm trying to figure out why you choose to end the chain with the cross. The only way this would make sense is if the coffin card was in the house of the cross, and the cross card was in the house of the lady. Can you please clarify that part for me, please? Thank you for your time :)

Thankyou so much for your very helpful lessons, .....I know cards horizontally are read left to right, where I am currently stumped is “vertically. As I understand it by Andy Boroveshengra in a “vertical”, the lower card is the “noun” Or focus card and the card above describes it, an example, could be in 2 lines of x3 cards. Also lets use 3x3 or 9 card spread as an example, the bottom row would be described as what you’re walking on , (foundation), sort of speak, the middle? And the top? How would you describe these in more clarity? As I have yet to fully understand

Great video again, Kelly!!! Thank you!
I have to say, I really like the idea of backtracking :) Haven´t done that much GTs, but whenever I did one, backtracking (I looked at just one or two significators) was spot on. I even tried it out without the GT by just laying out the cards following the trail (Malkiel did a video about this) and it worked beautifully. Short and sweet.
Whereas I´m not really warming up with the thought of the near & far-method. Don´t think I´ll include that.
I´m really looking forward to the next video on timing!!!

I do love to backtrack too but the Near & Far method isn't something I would add in because I think it's one of those things that is more an either or methods although I do some people combine it. Still it was good to touch on it :) -Kelly

    Dear Kelly,
I want to appreciate your painstaking efforts to share your Knowledge. First time I'm watching you. Yes, the mini deck no longer available. I liked the idea of 2 decks together for Grand Tableau. Thanks for the Backtracking Method. I'm considering maybe to use Backtracking to answer a specific question by Client. Which Card would you consider as the Most Important from a Timing Perspective? Love and Regards from India! Ganga

Backtracking is also called "Chain of Houses", correct?

    • @TheTruthinStory

Yes, I tend to call it just running the trail or backtracking or following the trail lol, but I looked up Chain of Houses and that is the same thing :)

What happens when the Cross is in its house?

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  8 ปีที่แล้ว

+KAREN N When any card is in its house it amplifies it in a way, or puts an exclamation point on it, so the cross in its own house amps up the burdens or says pay attention to this, if that makes sense.

First off- THANK YOU! Your channel as well as Tarot Tribe Beyond Worlds are the two that help the most!
I have a Question-- when using the second deck set down the houses on a nine card spread, for example, it's not making sense to me to shuffle both decks because that's just basically a two-story 9card layouts, is it not?
Having the house cards in order and putting the shuffled/pulled cards on top, that makes sense because the houses don't move. Like astrological houses. Always in the same order. Sorry if that's unclear-
So basically the entire GT with the houses down first in order makes sense, but you shuffled 9 cards and put them down as houses. Then you shuffled the second deck and laid those on top.
Can u help me understand why not put them in order?
Obviously one reason on a 9 card box spread to NOT put them in order is because you'd always be using the same first nine, right? (Sorry!😬)

First off: YOU ARE WELCOME :D I'm glad you enjoy the channel. Yes, you've answered why you wouldn't put them in order because if you want them always in order then you're best to lay a grand tableau even when you're just doing a 9 card so that the cards have a chance to move around. I don't use the random 9 card houses very often but it is an interesting way to do it as you get that nuance of the house with just a quick 9 card. So it is similar to my doing an elemental tarot reading with an elemental deck below or animal deck below for helpful energies, etc.
