I bought black one and I admire what they made. I was searching another low profile keyboards which seems better but I couldn't. So I bought white one last week and she's on the way, current in Tax Office, which I'm anticipating new Lofree Flow with another switches.
I payed 218$ for it and I wait for the delivery. I'm french so 50$ of shipping for the keyboard and the transport case, it hurt, but I think it worth it. I wanted a keyboard for programming in qwerty that I can transport to code at work in good condition without doing too much noise for a mechanical keyboard (the white one do less noise). It's in replacement for the apple keyboard at work that sucks for programming.
Best low profile keyboard out there in terms of typing action BUT the linear (white) switches are noticeably smoother than the tactile (black) switches (which are unusually fatiguing with alot of typing IMO).
Amazing edit, I love all the transitions and camera work that you did. Quick question: by any chance, do you happen to know how to get sponsorships? (i.e how to find companies who are willing to send their product for review).
Thanks a lot! Yes partly, growing your audience will attract sponsors, making high quality also. I personally do outreach weekly to brands and get sponsors and products that way in exchange for a quality video :) Hope this helps, if you have more questions feel free to dm me on Instagram!
@amazingabu well, here’s my plan, make the best content that I can daily and reach out to at least 10 brands a week for as long as possible. I’ll end up getting some at some point :) But not at the moment no
Any idea if the sound changes too much between the ghost and phantom switches? I love the quiet and creamy sound while typing but the black keyboard is better for me (my fingertips sweat and leave marks on white keys 😅)
The white one is a linear switch (smooth typing )while the black one has a tactile switch (has a bump when typing)! Hope this helps even though I'm 2 months late ❤
100 keys adds the numpad so if you use that often, 100 keys is better. If you don’t need it, 84 is better. Typically smaller layouts offer better mouse to keyboard ergonomics. Hope this helps :)
@@NickLater I recently got the NuPhy Air 96 V2, and the backlighting for that is okay but I’ve swapped out the keycaps for the shine through version and it’s a lot better. It doesn’t look like Lofree do shine through keycaps for this keyboard though
Maybe twice as loud, it’s not a super loud keyboard. The Apple keyboard sounds similar to the Mx keys so there’s a comparison in the video. Hope this helps :)
Hard for me to say since I mostly work from the office now and not at home. I would say it probably lasts around 2-3 months of daily use but I’m not sure 😅
@@NickLaterI prefer total silence in my office, I spend a lot time here. I use the apple magic but I want something better, I need try the lofree. I'll wait for a revision version 2.
@JohnSmith-zl8rz I think mechanical keyboards might not be what you are looking for, even the Lofree flow I got is not silent, it’s not super loud however

I agree, so far it’s the best I’ve tried!

Awesome! That’s also what I did but had the Mx keys and wanted to get a bit more noise so I went with the black one :)

I didn’t try the linear switches but I really like the clicky ones!
I don’t type a lot with the work I do, maybe 30min straight max
Nice review, This looks like a laptop keyboard so if your use to that type of typing experience this will be perfect. 👍
Thanks! It really offers a mechanical typing experience with great sound while being in a smaller format, it’s lovely to use :)
Great edit, love your content. Quick question, if you use the keyboard wired all the time Would that damage the battery life?
I can’t say how much for sure, but it’s never good for a battery to be used while charging
There’s a toggle switch to switch between cable-on/cable-off/bluetooth. Hence, I assume battery is not used when cable-on/cable-off is used.

@@NickLater hey! Is there a company willing to sponsor?

How does one switch between the Mac and Windows configuration? My alt and windows keys are switched and it is messing me up with certain applications
I have not figured it out yet. I’ll try to look into it and come back with a better answer. If I forget, please remind me over IG dms😂
Fn+N for windows, Fn+M for Mac

I’m not sure.. I personally love the phantom switches a lot. Also the key caps don’t show finger grease!

It’s a hot swappable keyboard. You can get the black unit and just buy the ghost switches separately if you’re into linear switches.
Is it better the 84 keys or 100 keys ?

How is the backlighting with the keyboard?
It’s okay but nothing more. It’s not very bright and doesn’t go through the key caps so if it’s for working at night, it’s not very helpful :)
@@NickLater I recently got the NuPhy Air 96 V2, and the backlighting for that is okay but I’ve swapped out the keycaps for the shine through version and it’s a lot better. It doesn’t look like Lofree do shine through keycaps for this keyboard though
@colinkilday Might have to look into that one next.. Lofree does not have shine through yet but maybe in the future. Still a beautiful keyboard!
You could get the NuPhy shine-through keycaps for the Lowfree flow. Read under another video that it’ll fit.
@hortehighwind8651 that’s a good solution
How loud would you say this is compared to an apple keyboard?

How long does one charge usually last you?

why in hell somebody wants a loud keys?
Auditory satisfaction and tactile / audio feedback
I think I like it somewhere in the middle just like the Lofree flow :)
