no it's just as an American feminized woman, woman was thought to be a fat lazy whores, married to the government through public aid, and handouts.

The Amish are self sustaining, so educate, raise crops and do most things without modern conveniences and services. They even build their own structures, like barns. The best comparison is to America a century or two ago.
