I built the same system and I agree fully. This is an easy system to care for all around. Little hint, cover unused holes and keep light out of the rails the best you can. No algae will grow.

the PVC risers here seem to be different to what you have listed on the website/pvc and seem to get off easier. Could you list a link to it please?

Interesting video as always. Personally, I would have added a little bleach or peroxide to the water in the main tank, run the water pump for about three hours to disinfect everything inside and the pipes, then rinse last.

Ultimately a raft system would be better and easier to clean. I got the tube system like yours and it’s a pain to clean especially in the winter time.

I have a challenge for you......look at I harvest grow system, and see how can you grow 30 plants in 2.5 cubic feet?......I love hydroponics, but have little space, and 890. dollars is alot of money for me........? Got Ideas.....I live in a apt.........

You could nearly pull that off by using my 2-rail design and shortening the rails a bit. 30 plants would be crowded but you could do it.

How about a drain at the end of the last rail? You could scrub and flush with the old solution.

Muir and Monte Carlo are the favorites, but we try quite a few different ones.
