Can't say I was happy that she got custody because it made no sense. She doesn't have the time to actually care for her daughter so she is mostly with her grandma. It would have made so much more sense for her to grow up with her dad and have the mother visit whenever there is time. As selfless as it was of him as a father, it was not really logical to me. Sure in the end everyone got along but I don't remember the mother's work schedule ever having been discussed again. Anyway the themes of this movie were so important and is definitely one of the best BL movies out there.
Yes. Yes. And yes. I understood why he wanted to give her custody but she did not deserve it. Her work schedule should have mattered more than the fact that Sora will grow up with two dads. The movie was really really good in my opinion, and it felt really real somehow. Wish we could have more like this one. 💙
It's is usually really hard for the father to the get custody of children because of the sexism surrounding whether a dad can be better than a mum so that probably why the mum won custody
I think she would have been way more happier with both dads, the mom was being selfish and she didn't have time for her daughter, her daughter was way happier living with shun n negiea in the country side
i just remember how much i BAWLED my eyes off when he gave up his costudy and just sobbed in shun's embrace so hard outside the court building. truly a beautiful movie. felt and looked so realistic. because a lot of gay ppl experience this yknow?
I am impressed by Shun's courage that he never looks at him and does not chase him away. And that he takes him in with his daughter without asking anything. I like nagissa courage to stand in front of shun and tell him that he made a mistake. The little one shows you the way to show that they are a team that they don't care about two daddies too But most of all I like the old man and the villagers that they are not narrow-minded that they receive boys as if they have always been there. Strong film about courage and pride Love that got stronger and stronger. ♥ ️🤗😘

I wanted this to be longer and then it hit me I just want people to see the whole thing because this video does not include all the beauty 😭 im glad to hear you liked this! And the series was such a soft one. You can literally see the transition into how they fall in love. The window scene as well as the small details. Nagisa was so so in love with Shun 😭 I wonder if he still used the same shampoo, I wonder what Nagisa did on the days he missed Shun 😭 I need a manga with moreee details. More plot. Hio Miyazawa playing Shun although not a lot of lines (dialog) he is going to be a significant Japanese actor. His ability to communicate with the audience by his very presents was amazing to watch. He carried off some very difficult scenes, eg; his stare at Nagisa when he realized who was at his house with his daughter spoke 10,000 words! I could watch this movie over and over again just for the brief interactions of Shun and Nagisa.
It was such a good movie. Ive seen it 4 times right after it was released with subs 😭😭 editing this i kept stopping to rewatch. If this had a manga i would have gotten that too

It touches a lot buttons for me - having been married (no kids) and divorced now living in a 20 year gay married relationship. I understand much of the feelings going on here.

i just finished watching it. halfway to the film i already told my friends and suggested they watch this. i loved it so muuuuuuch. glad it all worked out in the end.
Something about watching the mom try to crack the eggs like Nagisa at the end made me so sad...I was mad when she got custody, but when I saw how hard she was trying to be a better mom, I realized how unfair it was what Nagisa did in their relationship in the first place. The end ending scene though made me the happiest, because it was just like what the daughter asked for. Loved this movie!! Great edits...you really highlighted the great acting, thank you creator! :)
I'm so proud of myself for finding this movie by my own, it deserves so much recognition, it is just so good, the mini series was interesting too, the acting is recognition good and also I was amazed for the little girl's acting.

I think the mother did try harder to give sora-chan time and affection, but I do believe she wouldve been happier with nagisa and shun.
