Congratulations on a superbly built and prefessionaly maidening this beautiful F-86. All things being equal, a traditional balsa and plywood built model will always weigh 20 - 25% less than same composite manufactured model. That equates to a much lower stall speed and slower landings - always a good thing.
Please replace the trailing link nose gear on the model. Get the correct strut so it doesn't look so silly. The wheel is way too small as well. That's too nice of a jet to have the wrong nose strut on it. Congrats on the maiden.

Wheels look too small?
Most definitely!! Nose strut is all wrong, and completely ruins the look of the model! The don't have trailing link struts!!
