My cousin was released for a week and he still needed to act as if he was on base,without the training obviously but he still needed to wake up early ,exersice, keep his weight at where it needed to be.

His voice has gotten rougher probably from the training and he just looks really serious in this performance. It feels weird even though I'm really happy to see them perform again.☺ [Edited: Ohmygah I was not expecting so many who thought the same. It was just a simple observance. The performance was great regardless and I'm happy to see them together and that's all that matters.✌😊]

NO MI I kind of feel bad, but I don’t really miss my brother when he’s away in the military. We just never had a strong relationship, heck we’ve never even had a brother sister fight. I understand how other siblings may feel and that I shouldn’t be ungrateful and stuff but idk it’s just how I feel. ;(

Like ballerinas. They look light but theyre solid muscle the ballerinos have thighs like tree trunks too they are mostly lean muscle but they also have to be strong enough to effortlessly lift the ballerinas and act and be graceful and perform the moves as well. Its scary to see koreans wanting to look underweight people think asians are naturally skinny small. Yes they tend to be shorter and have smaller bone structure but female asians have the same requirements for healthy bmi etc as european women who are taller and tend to have bigger shoulders hips etc. So when you see an asian girl or guy looking much slimmer than his average looking western counterpart most people are like oh their asian when no they are just taught to constantly put image above health and instead of prizing sports and what their body can do they prize intelligence and therefore instead of maintaining health through an active and balanced lifestyle they go on extreme diets get plastic surgery etc. All to be like an idol etc. Onviously all slim and short people are going to be inherently unhealthy but i think people need to be more aware that men and women who might not look like models arent ugly or fat at all they just arent some unattainable and unhealthy ideal. So im glad youre correcting this. To me he actually looks like hes become more solid and muscular and healthy than the awkward skinny teenager stage.
EmmaAppleBerry hahah he has too. I got nothing against skinny people. Whatever they want but being too skinny will not end well in the military. When i enlisted i was a bit overweight considering my height. I had extra side training on the side. My life was much more miserable compare to my class since i had extra training to loose some lbs.
Every idol that go to the enlistment will have a much better body health/ weight . you have to put on weight close to your bmi as much as possible during your military training. With the frail and skinny body most idols have will have a hard time through training. They will do fine a couple days but after then their body will basically fail and give up. Its not like a guarantee a skinny body will fail but it just better if your weight is scaled to what your height is to make your training much easier. I was a bit over weight which made my training a lot harder than some. I also had a little extra training to the side to keep my body weight down.

@brian Don't put Seungri and JJY in the same categories. That reporter admits to had edit the Kakao talk chat room. Seungri never involves with JJY conversation in the first place. He was accused of drug (drug test negative) and pushing prostitute with some higher up form Yuri Holdings (All the parties involves denied Seungri, that dude from Yuri Holdings and even the women in the chat.)
Until now polices hasn't even confirmed anything yet. JJY already admit to all his crime, Seungri lawyers denied and Seungri goes as far to wanted to take a lie detector test cause no one freaking believes him. I believed in innocent until proven guilty, and stop putting him with that monster JJY.

Haeyan he was the face of that pub where it all took place right ? He could have played blind while it all happened and that’s not okay. Those innocent women couldn’t even do anything to defend themselves because of these monsters high positions. It’s not fair for anybody. Just think about it? If it happened to you? To your close friends? It could have happened to anyone and if he really knew about it, would you have hoped he turned his back on you?

The rest who are considered the ideal super pretty idols like lisa from black pink are underweight. In western standards most of them look anorexic or too thin given there heights and age especially even more so given their high activity levels they should weigh more than the average sized girl since theyd be more lean muscle than fat. Like ballerinas. They look light but theyre solid muscle the ballerinos have thighs like tree trunks too they are mostly lean muscle but they also have to be strong enough to effortlessly lift the ballerinas and act and be graceful and perform the moves as well.
Its scary to see koreans wanting to look underweight people think asians are naturally skinny small. Yes they tend to be shorter and have smaller bone structure but female asians have the same requirements for healthy bmi etc as european women who are taller and tend to have bigger shoulders hips etc. So when you see an asian girl or guy looking much slimmer than his average looking western counterpart most people are like oh their asian when no they are just taught to constantly put image above health and instead of prizing sports and what their body can do they prize intelligence and therefore instead of maintaining health through an active and balanced lifestyle they go on extreme diets get plastic surgery etc. All to be like an idol etc.
Onviously all slim and short people are going to be inherently unhealthy but i think people need to be more aware that men and women who might not look like models arent ugly or fat at all they just arent some unattainable and unhealthy ideal. So im glad youre correcting this. To me he actually looks like hes become more solid and muscular and healthy than the awkward skinny teenager stage.
EmmaAppleBerry hahah he has too. I got nothing against skinny people. Whatever they want but being too skinny will not end well in the military. When i enlisted i was a bit overweight considering my height. I had extra side training on the side. My life was much more miserable compare to my class since i had extra training to loose some lbs.
Every idol that go to the enlistment will have a much better body health/ weight . you have to put on weight close to your bmi as much as possible during your military training. Its pretty much mandatory. I experience it and was a very memorable experience. Almost all of the idols you see with their sexy slender body will fail the body weight check up at first. With the frail and skinny body most idols have will have a hard time through training. They will do fine a couple days but after then their body will basically fail and give up. Its not like a guarantee a skinny body will fail but it just better if your weight is scaled to what your height is to make your training much easier. I was a bit over weight which made my training a lot harder than some. I also had a little extra training to the side to keep my body weight down.
