I would prefer to watch ads in someone's video, rather than paying to watch their content through Patreon. I actually tend to watch the ads of content creators that I love, such as yourself, because I know it helps out!

I love how you switch up the songs. I think it gives each vlog kind of it's own mood/personality also sometimes it helps me find new chill easy listening type of songs for my own playlist and it kinda makes me feel like I'm in a pretty video like yours. hehehe
You should definitely get a Book of the Month subscription. They usually have a pretty good mystery/thriller options each month. You can add extra books/skip months if you want! I love it.

If you get a Kindle, you can check out if your local library has Overdrive which lets you borrow e-books and get them sent right to your Kindle! You end up spending less money on books and it's super convenient. :)
As a translator and text editor I love physical books but I really encourage you to get a Kindle! You save space, money and you can take them everywhere 😊 love your weekly vlogs 🥰❤

Yes a kindle is worth it. Libraries have a whole ebook section where you can borrow books. You can also just check out physical books from the library.

I LOVE my Kindle! Highly recommend. I was always hesitant because I love physical books. But even with the Kindle, I still buy/read physical books. It's nice to mix things up. Having the Kindle also helps with not having so much clutter and only having the books you really like. (Although having a color coordinated wall of books is just goals, but I digress.) Also easy to borrow books from the library onto your Kindle. I tried the Kindle app on an iPad/iPhone, but I couldn't read for long since it hurt my eyes. You might read even faster on the Kindle haha because it's so easy to tap through the pages and you don't realize how much you've read.

Team Kindle! I held off for awhile on getting one but now I've never looked back. Great for commuting and vacations. I still switch between reading on my kindle and physical books. Last year I learned you can rent kindle books from your local library and that has definitely saved me so much money....I read a lot!
I have a kindle paper white and I’m obsessed with it! I love it because I have access to almost every book ever at the snap of my fingers and don’t have a ton of books I’m only going to read once taking up space in my home.
Michelle! I don’t know if someone else commented this, but the kindle app + the Libby app are the ultimate reading duo! The Libby app uses your local library card to download ebooks that you can read on your kindle app on your phone, iPad, or computer. It has saved me sooo much money on books

For me Kindle is the best thing I ever bought. The fact that you can keep all your books in one place is very practical. Also, the ebooks are usually cheaper than the fisical ones which is a plus.
I never noticed that much about other vlogs music but your vlogs are my favorite because of how peaceful and low volume it is I love the music you use!

I upgraded my kindle for Christmas and finally got the paperwhite with the backlight. I love it because I don't have to have the light on in the bedroom to read at night so my husband can just sleep. I do love the feeling of a regular book in my hand though. Sometimes I get good deals on kindle books with the $1.99. I need to figure out the library borrowing on a kindle still.

I have a kindle and since I have gotten it I have been reading so much more and have gotten through a lot of books! Its so convenient because I also don't need to take up space in my apartment to store my books! Highly recommend!

The Guest List by Lucy Foley is really good!! I’m sure you would like it :) It’s easy to read and you get different perspectives from different characters which makes it super interesting

I love my kindle! Much easier to bring with you than a physical book. I honestly use my parents account but I think it’s kindle unlimited or something like that where it’s a cheap subscription and you can access a whole library of books. Would definitely recommend!

I have a kindle and love it. I used to read paperbacks but where I like to read at night before bed, I can cuddle up in my blanket and read at night in the dark to get sleepy for bed with my kindle easier. I check out books from the library for free and use goodreads to get more book recommendations. I’m a fast reader too. I’m not a mystery fan and the only ones I could recommend, you’d already read 😂 Woman in the Window is on Netflix now. Oh! And be sure to grab your free First Reads book from Amazon if you have Prime! I think they had some good mystery/thrillers this month. I think I chose the fantasy one.

i def enjoy your jazzy songs. it also be fun if you could create playlists of the jazzy songs to listen later like on Spotify or something or youtube mixes. I sometimes have lofi in the background but jazz is always lovely to add to spice it up :) Also idk why but I think this was one my favorite vlogs this year so far!

I'm a reluctant kindle convert but I LOVE IT. It doesn't feel like a screen at all since it is magnetic ink.

Rebecca and My Cousin Rachel both by Daphne du Maurier are such good thrillers and total literary classics! Also getting a library card is an absolute must if you're a big reader: free and they usually have the books I'm looking for!
I have a kindle and I LOVE it!! 10/10 would recommend. I always thought it would be like reading on a screen (which I really don’t like), but the screen of a kindle genuinely looks like paper.
The Couple Next Door is another good thriller :).
I LOVED “The Secret History” by Donna Tartt but I would recommend reading it during the fall time. I think it’s considered dark academia and it has some elements of mystery as well. One of my favorites now.
I have an iPad that I read on, and I love it since it can be used for a lot of things! My favorite part is that my local library has an ebook catalogue so that I can rent ebooks for free. I still buy physical books sometimes when the book has a really long waitlist, but it has saved me a TON of money on books
A kindle is SO worth it, I read books constantly and it takes up so much space. First get a kindle, then a library card at the Dallas library. You can download the app “Libby” and link your library card and literally have access to thousands of books. It’s my go to now !!! Some popular books you have to wait or put a hold on but there’s always something available!
I love different songs in the videos. Your dedication to picking them up really pays off because I feel like your music is always relaxing and inviting and pairs well with your vlogs. Love that your read! I bought a kindle but haven't enjoyed it nearly as much as purchasing a hardcover book so I switched back to buying the books. There is something special and thrilling to turning a real page and digging into a physical book. I don't know that these are classified as mysteries per se, but my recent favs along the lines of a mystery (books with a twist or a bit of suspense) are The Invisible Life of Addie La Rue, Where the Crawdads Sing, and The Nightingale. :)
I’ve had similar problem with books! I’m going through so many and I also love to read physical books but don’t want to clutter my space. So my bf suggested to try the library and it turned out to be such a game changer! Pretty much all the books that are coming out are already there! Thrillers, mysteries, ya fantasy - everything! The last time I’ve borrowed the Ruthless Elimination of Hurry and absolutely enjoying it!

I love kindle and only get my books this way now! I really recommend Tana French books!
I didn't think I would like my Kindle but it's truly awesome. Plus, if your public library works with Libby (most major libraries do!) then you can download that app and get access to books from the library that can be converted on to your Kindle! It's really great. I do that for all my books that I'm not dying to personally own. There can still be a wait like with regular library holds, but the Libby app has tons of titles available right away (and audiobooks!)

I have a kindle but I don’t use it as much as I anticipated. I found that I prefer physics copies of books because it’s easier for me to focus and go back and forth. If you also prefer physical copies I recommend signing up for the monthly subscription box Book of the Month!

I read A Good Neighborhood recently and it was good, not super intense, some teen romance and a twist ending. It's based on a neighborhood in Raleigh, NC! Also would recommend trying out a library, you get all the goods of a physical book without the price and space commitment 🥰

I love my Kindle. I also love Kindle Unlimited. I go through books super fast and you pay around $10 dollars a month and get access to a ton of books in all genres.

I just recently finished The Good Girl by Mary Kubica and loved it! Currently reading another book by her called The Other Mrs. which seems really good so far as well. I'm so glad you shared some of the ones you have read. I've really been loving these types of books lately!
I love my kindle! I have the kindle paper white (I got a deal on it on prime day). I used to buy most of the books from Amazon but I figured out how to get books from my library on it by using the Libby app! It’s amazing lol. I just finished reading “The Last Mrs.Parrish” last night and it was so good! Before that I read “the turn of the key” by Ruth Ware! 10/10 recommend.
