It's a very solid tank. However, it's extremely idiotic this tank has 40 shells and the IS-4 has 30, so with this tank you can still do well while with the other one, after facing superheavies, you barely have ammo left.

Ammo amount can't be compensated by shooting heat man.

@@mina-qi5lf After facing three tanks you are already struggling. If heavies are using HP equipment+ field mods then you are in big trouble. A Maus has a whopping 3.5k HP or something, you need at least 7-8 shots just for this one. Good luck facing a triple platoon of superheavies. It's the same problem as the IS-7, WG clearly ignored these two tanks that in the past faced +4, +5MM and 30 shells were ok because the HP pool was way lower.

It is ST-1, and the double barreled is ST-2.
This tanks was so strong 10 years ago, I unlock it but figured why don't I get the double barrel one tier9 instead
ST-I mi amor. Favourite heavy in the game, was a little disappointed when they nerfed it a few years back but it’s still solid if you know what to do
One of the better HTs. If it had a bit better hidden dispersion stats, this would be close to perfection.

I like ST-I better than its big brother IS-4 because it has 40 rounds against 30 for the IS-4, which is not always enough.
I like the armor on this tank, this is a real front action in the game, I remember long time ago this tank was so slow and war game fixed it to go faster more power.

Watching this video makes me pick up this probably oldest heavy in game:D gun handling isnt the greatest but heat does its job. I think it needs a buff at least for faster turret traverse and faster aiming..otherwise armor is good expecially when you sidescrap:D

ST-I is my favorite tier 9 heavy and one of the best heavy tanks in the game. Nice armor, decent mobility not the best but solid gun handling. Plus, you don't feel bad playing it because it is actually balanced

I can't see this tank too often, but in my opinion it is a hidden gem. An absolute beast. I loved playing with it. (and I'm just an "above avg. player" category, nowhere near to Skill)

St-1 looks promising tank but that f**** cupola in front .... 70% of players will hit it. For me personaly Obj. 257 looks better despite his gun.
Skill doesn't mention that turret turns slow, gun is gamble to hit anything and overall - tank is outdated. Armor works for people who don't know where to aim. I grind ST I these days, with great crew and full purple setup and cannot hit anything unless fully aimed shots. And long aim time means you will take one for the tim doing so. ST I is avrg tank by my humble opinion. T 10 is way way better. Hull down is the only option and hide cupola ......

Wrong. This tank is bad. Armor is not good, everything pens you without gold, and gun is the worst it can be. Calling this tank anything beyond below mediocre is untrue
