No, they are not part of the task, you can still solve it without using python script, I like to do automation, so I use the help of ChatGPT, I give it instruction how to write the code / requirements (you still need to check the code, sometimes ChatGPT do not get it write), I am still learning python, I am not in that level yet, so using ChatGPT help.
No, you get certificate when you finish paths (you can check paths on tryhackme website), some rooms, not all of them when you finish them you get a badge.

After completing this room, can we receive the certificate or not?
No, you get certificate when you finish paths (you can check paths on tryhackme website), some rooms, not all of them when you finish them you get a badge.

there is NO certification for the room, you only get certificate when you finish full path
