“Absence” - I’ve been touring non-stop for a while now. While it’s always exciting to share the music, meet great people and visit amazing places, I still find myself secluded sometimes on so many nights in single hotel rooms, and that’s when I miss my home. This one is about being both happy and lonely on the road. I had fun with some chopstick playing and bit of looping towards the end of the tune.

Seriously, how is this guy still underrated?
Wow! I just noticed that at around 2:33 in the video he uses his ring finger to intentionally mute the sixth string before hammering on again just a few notes later. That is some crazy dedication to achieving the sound you want. 99.9% of guitarists would just let the string ring out until they did the next hammer on. That is brilliance.
