Your collection is incredible, all your videos carry professionalism and help us to better choose the figures from our collections, the angles used and the lighting make us see details that we normally don't see, congratulations on the work...
Thank you, thank you Daisir! I appreciate the kind words and I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed watching it! I'll be updating the space a little bit more, so stay tuned for the room tour for the end of the year. 😄
Absolutely phenomenal. Not much more can be said than that. Top notch production. Love that you’ve gone over everything with the room with prices, setup and just explaining what you’ve done and hearing how passionate you are about this hobby. Look forward to seeing what you do in 2023. Get Kuiil lol. Always great to have different height figures in the collection.
I wasn't sure if the pricing looked like I was showboating or not, so I didn't cover everything in detail, lol! I figured I'd share the important parts at the very least. I appreciate the compliments as well! Like I said, I'm already excited to see where the space will be in 2023, so I can't wait! So far you're the only one who said I should commit, haha! I don't know, I'm thinking on it. 😄 Thanks for watching!
Okay, that monologue was spectacular. "I wanted something that was more... me." Ugh! Perfection. What an incredible lead-in. Great collection and set up! Whenever I see collections like this (and TK421 -- I see you down there in the comments :), I wish my collection was more uniform. I collect any and everything that catches my eye. But these entirely Star Wars collections really speak to me. They look so darn good. And your choice of poses for your figures is a work of art. They are simple yet so full of life. I dig Mando's pose and the poncho on the Deathwatch Mando is such an amazing choice. In on of the Facebook groups I'm in, I saw someone put a ghillie suit on their Scout Trooper. I'll have to duplicate that idea once I get my hands on a Scout Trooper. Lately, and probably my favorite aspect of your collection, is how your displays tell a story. It shows every shelf is prepared with purpose and this, to me, is magical. If there was such a thing of TH-cam video of the year, this would be my vote. The Force is strong with this one.
Haha, thank you! I felt like it needed something a step above what we usually do and I wanted it to feel just impactful to the viewer as the space does for me. It did take a while to film, edit etc, but we really love the way it turned out. Not to mention, hearing it makes us feel THAT much better about it. So thank you for that, GenefactoR! 😄 Yeah, I think it depend on what your vision for the space is and how YOU use it. Even if you don't ever go so far as to do what I did, your collection space should make you happy. 😄 - Believe it or not, I was finally able to make that shelf the way I wanted to for the Mandalorians. The wife said I should make a Short/Reel and show you all, but wasn't sure if anyone cared that much, lol! I did see the Ghillie Scout Trooper as well, that was beautiful! Thank you, thank you. I feel like story telling is important in my collection to keep it fresh for me. Even if I'm looking at Dark Side Anakin for example, looking over to see Ahsoka and the 332nd or beneath him to see Obi-Wan, Light Side Anakin and Ahsoka really shows where his character is in that moment. Thank you so much for watching! We'll gladly take video of the year with honor! 😄
As ever, excellent production value on the video. You've distinguished yourself from every other Hot Toys reviewer on TH-cam I've seen so far, each new video is a treat. Keep up the good work.
That's very kind of you to say, Thibau! We try our best to separate our content so it doesn't feel so samey to watch. Not to mention, these figures are done so well, we don't mind going the extra mile to provide more quality to our production. 😄 Thanks again and stay tuned for Bo-Katan's unboxing! 😄
Outstanding collection and presentation, very impressed across the board brother, excellent taste. With regards to what to add or not, follow your heart and gut instinct. Kuill?, my opinion despite what I just said is that he exhibits moral qualities that endear us to him. Clearly, Kuill was instrumental in getting Mando back on his feet so to speak, and unlike Droids and other creatures, Kuiil felt human like, despite his appearance. One of the things I strive for in my own collection is balance, an equal representation of good vs bad, human/creatures vs non human characters in the Star Wars canon. But ultimately, you collect what speaks to you, that inner child that was blown away when you watched Star Wars for the first time, reconnecting with that wonderment. May the force be with you!
Great collection! The intentionality to the posing is immaculate 👌 Definitely inspiring me to better pose and arrange my Black Series, and absolutely tempting me to start collecting 1/6!
Such a dope display man bravo! Loved how you went into what each shelf represents. Totally shows the love you have for these characters and their stories. Truly incredible stuff👏👏
Love everything about your setup and display, the lighting is gorgeous. Sounds like you plan to go the Moducase route eventually, but personally I still like the way Detolfs show. The Moducases may allow the collector to display more, but it just ends up looking like a packed aquarium to me. When displayed elegantly like your's is, it's just a clean museum look that I prefer to Moducases. Anyway, thanks for the inspiration. Your collection and setup absolutely rocks!
I'd like to, but I have to admit, I like the glass display myself. It's something so premium about it that bumps up the quality for me. I'd hate to go the custom route, because that would be insane! I guess I'll either shop around or look into how much something like that would cost. Thanks for watching, Cinemaniac! Appreciate the kind words as well! 🙏🙏
@@BostonCollectors I hear you, I'm in the same boat. I'm a big fan of Detolfs when done right like you've done, but the best compromise between the clean museum look of Detolfs and the bulk display of Moducases are nice glass trophy cases like in toy shops. Premium ones. I've been scouring Craigslist and Facebook MP for years. I've got a few larger display cases for prop replicas and such but haven't found the perfect one(s) yet. Still displaying my sixth-scale figs in Luke Light lit Detolfs until I hopefully score the exact right trophy cases and without breaking the bank. Best of luck to you, look forward to seeing your collection updates!
Thank you! I’ll discuss more about him in the next room tour. I didn’t think a lot of people would care about him until showing him off last year. I veeeeeery rarely preorder two of the same figures, I had to do two for Mace! 😅
Dooku is such a fantastic figure. I only started collecting hot toys last year starting with the 501st then the 2 pack deluxe mandalorian boba fett. But with episode 2 being my fav episode since I was like 7 years old, I had to get dooku and yoda even if I spent a little more with being late to collecting hot toys. Pre ordered anakin and windu and 2 super battledroids. Super excited.
Oh wow! Kudos, kudos!!!! Brilliant display, tour, production and narration! Very nice touch on all the things. I'll be considering some of your ideas and DEFINITELY a few of your poses.
Pure class!! Clean and sleek looking! 👌🏽 Awesome collection and display, that rug is amazing!! I'm planning to paint my collection room black or charcoal aswell, love the look!😎
Thank you, Tron! the rug was the hardest part, but happy to have it. Even though it wasn't my first choice, it ended up working out for the best. It feels very premium, so you'll definitely love it! Give a chance to dry first before you hate it, because I thought I made a bad decision at first, lol! Thanks for watching! 🍻
Great video as always man. Love the setup overall. Being from and having lived in Boston, I know how tough it can be to make smaller spaces comfortable and nice and you did a magnificent job. I'd be lying if I said I sit through every second of collection tour videos but for yours I knew I had to. The way you describe what was going on and the story you're going for on each shelf is exactly what I ry to do when figuring who to pose together and how. Can't wait to see the evolution of it as more figures start to come in for you!
Thanks, Webb! You know exactly how it is, lmao! It took a while to get the dimensions and everything right, but it finally came together. It isn't there all the way, but it's a great start. I just have to figure out how to utilize the wall space without cramming and taking away the minimal approach. Haha, I'm glad this one was worth while to watch all the way through! I wasn't sure if the pacing was too slow or not, but I wanted the video to feel like my natural self since it's my space. I didn't want to force an upbeat personality if it isn't me, so that's great to hear! Thanks for watching and supporting us, man. We appreciate it! 🙏🙏
Awesome collection and posing. Personal favorite pose is that Beskar Mando leaning against the glass panel. Can't help but notice there isn't a single OT SW character in your collection. Different folks different strokes. I get that.
Thank you! Glad to hear you like the pose on Mando as well! 😄 As for the OT pieces, I like the films, but the characters aren't needed for my display. Love some of the pieces though, but for the price of the ones I'd pick up, I'm not willing to go that far. The wife loves it though! Even though she sold off a lot of hers she's got a few in her collection still.
Absolutely brilliant love your display, I still prefer the detolf over the module case. I personally think the star wars figures always look the best on display, only problem is I'm a marvel fan , however I do like the mandolorian series. And have 5 hot toys from that range. What's so great is that you have stuck with one theam and it looks great. I am a fan of one figure per shelf, but you have pulled it off in places. Great job. I only wish I had planned out my collection before I started, I have to much of a mix. Oh to have a massive space and to have four different sections.. Thank you for sharing your amazing collection. Regards Andy
I agree. I was talking with thee wife about how Detolfs allow for sections for a specific look versus cramming figures all in a box and calling it a day. If I did go the route for Moducase, They would have to square and not rectangular. The look is clean when there's one figure per shelf. Especially if the collector doesn't care to have squads or every version of their favorite character. I wish I could actually, but it would be in hallway or something that I don't have, lol! It's never too late to plan out your display depending on space and all. I'm sure what you have is awesome! But alas... space, our mortal enemy. Thanks for watching Andy, appreciate you taking the time to comment as well! 😄
@@BostonCollectors Thank for getting back to me much appreciated, I'm so addicted to this hobby, and it's nice to chat and see other people's collections. My girlfriend doesn't get it, or my friends , as I guess it's a lot of money for collecting, what is in theory is a toy in their eyes. And not only do we have to find space for the figures, then we have to find space for the boxes.
Thank you! 🙏 It's an awesome hobby and quite addicting. We both have been in it for quite some time and our love for the figures is still there. I hope you continue to enjoy it! 😄
It's nice, I guess. If you go for fantastic collections in great looking displays in a room that jumped out of a design magazine. I suppose some people are into that kind of thing. 😁 Gideon with Death Troopers AND Dark Troopers looks great.
Awesome setup man and really appreciate the explanation and inspiration behind the scenes in your detolfs. As for Kuil, if you don't have an attachment then I probably wouldn't. I don't have an attachment to him either so I think I'm gonna pass.
Thank you, Fig! And no problem. I figured maybe there wasn't an understanding for how the shelves around it brought a story together, so I went ahead and slid that in. I'm glad to hear it was received well! 😄 Yeah, I'm on the fence with Kuill, but I'm also... not because I don't want him, lol! I'm trying the break the mentality of "needing" figures to make sense with others.
@@BostonCollectors Wow, you said exactly the thing I’ve been battling recently. It’s hard for sure. There’s figures I truly don’t have much of a connection to but then I start thinking about how good they’ll look with a particular figure and boom…Add to Cart. That’s how I got out of control with my collection is all the companion pieces lol. Not easy to fight so I feel you.
Thank you, thank you! Ah, space is the true end game boss fight for collectors. I've finally reached my threshold and nothing sucks more than wanting more! 😄 Appreciate you for watching Benny!
Thank you, Gabriele! I'm not really a fan of Imperial troopers. There are very few styles that like which vary from Death Troopers, Transport Troopers, Dark Troopers and Purge Troopers. If I have anything outside of that, it's probably because I felt I needed them for a specific look to my display. Thanks for watching! 😄
Thank you 😄 It’s really just balancing. There are some poses that can’t be done because of weight distribution of the figure, etc. so just have to keep trying until you get it. Or use a prop or two 😂
Hey man! I love the collection! Quick question, what did you do with Plo Koon? I have one I’m about to get and like the way yours looks. Did you just do a body swap with another figure? Thanks man! Awesome collection.
Hey, Pacey! I’m using 4 miniature magnets (2 on either side) that I picked up off Amazon. Beneath the inside of the hood I have one there and just beneath the pleather tabbard to magnetize together for a better appearance
Haha, I've never had an issue with any of them falling over except one. I was able to fix it though since I didn't have the Chrome Troopers foot all the way on.
This collection was built over the course of 7 years and payment plans. I could never have all of this if it weren’t for time and being able to pay them over time. You can do it! Thanks for watching. 😄🙏🏼
I've been lucky that I've been able to choose poses that I love and that are stable! There have been a few mishaps here and there but overall they've been fine without the stands. I always do a quick jumping test next to the Detolfs when I put them in 😆
@@BostonCollectors haha thank you. I have my cases on those 2 cube organizer from target and are pretty stable. But would love more room so considering removing some stands.
I’ve been meaning to do a video on this, but I buy multiple baggies of different sizes and store them in a compartmentalized tool box. Makes it a lot easier than going in and out of art boxes all day, lol!
You don’t need to prove yourself as a Star Wars fan and I don’t either. It’s a toxic thinking process in this space that can become obnoxious. However, based on the canon material, he served as a commander during the Siege of Mandalore. In my display he’s Commander Rex, even though he’s sold as Captain Rex by Hot Toys. Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
@@BostonCollectors toxic 🤣 no im not and my mind is relaxed. im born with starwars its like my twin i know everything and if it refers to Star Wars I can rebuke anyone. coz if u are a fan of StarWars it doesent matter what u pay or how much u collect.. only your knowledge counts. and the reason why ur attack was unsuccessful is that im not a fan im a son of StarWars. and that is something that the simple fans will never be able to reach no matter how much they buy in their addictions.

LONG HAVE I WAITED, and it really paid off! Amazing setup King
Thank you, thank you! Glad it finally paid off!
Man this collection is absolute 🔥 😍😍
Thanks, Mark! 😄🙌🏼🙌🏼
Absolutely amazing
Thank you! 🙏😄
10 out of 10! So inspiring. Your personal thoughts on your collection and the direction you are going really stand out for me.
Thank you for watching Pander! 🍻
Everything is Incredible about this video! I’m stealing some of those poses too 😄. Brilliant 👏
Thank you! Feel free to use whatever pose you'd like! 😄 - Thanks for watching!
Awesome setup
Thank you and appreciate you for watching! 😄
I love that dark side Anakin/Vader pose.
AWESOME Collection💯🔥😍🔥!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you! 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks for watching!
This is such an inspiring room. One of the best put together and well thought out collections I’ve seen
Thank you so much, Emcee! Appreciate you for watching as well. 😄
Dude! You did it again! The display is so clean, the poses are exceptional and the lighting is on point! 11/10 display!
My man, thank you! Looking forward to what you think for the next one then if you like this one! Thanks for watching! 🙏
Yeah, I think it depend on what your vision for the space is and how YOU use it.
Thanks again and stay tuned for Bo-Katan's unboxing! 😄
Thank you for the inspiration! This is the way to display. The nicest collection tour I have seen!
We’re glad could give some inspiration! Thank you 🙏 😄
The way you display your figures is epic man , good job
Thank you, Charles! Appreciate you for watching 😄
This is therapeutic. Beautiful work Boston!!
Thank you so much, Tyria! Appreciate you taking the time out of your day to watch. 😄
Absolutely incredible collection and video production quality. Very well done
Thank you 🙏 😄
Beautiful collection and display! Love the stories you wanted to portray in each shelf. That’s dedication. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you, I really appreciate that! 🙏 Hard work, yes, but worth it in the end 😄
I’ve been looking forward to this 😤
🗿 on SSE an'nem!
@@BostonCollectors I simp
Your taste is fantastic bro
Thank you, thank you! It's still smaller tidbits to update in the space, but it's definitely in a good spot. Appreciate you for watching, Jack! 😄
Thanks, Brandon! I think I suffer from the same thing we all suffer from... Space. "I want more... and I know I shouldn't." 😄
@@BostonCollectors Definitely.. Space gate is no joke
Beautiful collection and video my friend! Top marks Sir. 👌🏾
Thanks, Mo! Appreciate it! 🙏
Wow this has honestly inspired me to completely reformat my room for my collection, new favorite channel on here!
Happy to help! Enjoy the process, because I had a lot of fun piecing together how I wanted the space to look.
I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too! 😄🙏
That plo koon is AMAZING!!!! When will we see him!!! Also mace is on his way 😊
Thank you, Blitz! I appreciate the kind words! Feel free to use any ideas or poses you like. 😄
Wow , truly awesome. 🔥🔥
Thank you so much! Still quite a bit to do, but it was enough to make a video on for now. 😄

I’m technically in this video! WOOO I MADE IT lol
In at least 3-4 shots actually. MAMA WE MADE IT!

DUDE! Much like your reviews, your office is stunning. Beautiful works of art, displayed perfectly. Truly awesome stuff.
Thank you, Norsky! You're always so supportive of our content, we really appreciate it. 😄
As for the OT pieces, I like the films, but the characters aren't needed for my display. Love some of the pieces though, but for the price of the ones I'd pick up, I'm not willing to go that far. The wife loves it though! Even though she sold off a lot of hers she's got a few in her collection still.
congrats man, amazing video and amazing collection.
Thank you, thank you! 🙌😄
Regards
Andy
What a beautiful collection, looks amazing! 👍🏻 Just started collecting a few months ago and I’m addicted 😅
Thank you! 🙏 It's an awesome hobby and quite addicting. We both have been in it for quite some time and our love for the figures is still there. I hope you continue to enjoy it! 😄
Whoa..amazing!
Thank you, thank you! 😄
I had to copy that dark side anakin pose I added one 501st clone with him. What a beautiful collection you have!
One of my favorites!
Thank you! I'm just happy to be able to share my collection with you all🙏😄
Now that they've announed the B2 battle droids, you'll have to put a couple behind Dooku!
That is true, lol! If the prices aren’t too bad then I can commit to 2 of them for sure! 😄
It's nice, I guess. If you go for fantastic collections in great looking displays in a room that jumped out of a design magazine. I suppose some people are into that kind of thing. 😁
Gideon with Death Troopers AND Dark Troopers looks great.
You had me worried there for a second! 😆 I appreciate you and your words more than you know. Thank you thank you🙏 🥹

amazing collection
Thank you, Paul! 😄
Amazing display, suscribed!
Thank you for the compliment and subscribing 😄
Maul is my fave too
Awesome setup man and really appreciate the explanation and inspiration behind the scenes in your detolfs.
Yeah, I'm on the fence with Kuill, but I'm also... not because I don't want him, lol!
Beautiful set up bro. I’d love to grow a massive set of hot toys. But room is one thing as well as potentially moving in the future is another thing
Thank you, thank you! Ah, space is the true end game boss fight for collectors. I've finally reached my threshold and nothing sucks more than wanting more! 😄
Appreciate you for watching Benny!
beautiful collection ! just 1 question .. why you don’t have stormtroopers ? For exemple ROTJ stormtrooper and scout trooper
@@BostonCollectors Super clear ! thankyou man 😁
Great displays! How do you get them to stay stood up without falling over? I’d love to show mine without the ugly stands.
Thank you 😄
It’s really just balancing.
You might like to pickup @1sixthjay's custom Mandalore throne for Maul
I’ll look into their work, thanks for the info! 🙏😄
How do you get the Anakin DS hood like that? Trying to replicate the pose and struggling
Hey, Pacey!
I’m using 4 miniature magnets (2 on either side) that I picked up off Amazon.
Beneath the inside of the hood I have one there and just beneath the pleather tabbard to magnetize together for a better appearance
You're a brave man not using any stands.
Haha, I've never had an issue with any of them falling over except one. I was able to fix it though since I didn't have the Chrome Troopers foot all the way on.
When i watch smt like this. I just thinking, how you got money for all of this
Like damn! It's my dream
This collection was built over the course of 7 years and payment plans. I could never have all of this if it weren’t for time and being able to pay them over time.
You can do it! Thanks for watching. 😄🙏🏼
@@BostonCollectors I highly respected the dedication. You inspired me 🙏
Thank you 👍
I'm working on a display where Batman is dead an my Arkham Batgirl has taken up mantle and Joker is dressed up as Imposter Batman.
I bet that’ll look awesome! 🔥🔥
Do you ever have figures fall without the stands?
I've been lucky that I've been able to choose poses that I love and that are stable! There have been a few mishaps here and there but overall they've been fine without the stands. I always do a quick jumping test next to the Detolfs when I put them in 😆
@@BostonCollectors haha thank you. I have my cases on those 2 cube organizer from target and are pretty stable. But would love more room so considering removing some stands.
How do you save all the small hands and devices?
I’ve been meaning to do a video on this, but I buy multiple baggies of different sizes and store them in a compartmentalized tool box.
Makes it a lot easier than going in and out of art boxes all day, lol!
Nice video. Do you only collect star wars?
9:10 yeah maybe he became a commander but pls call him captain if u re a real starwars fan
@@shooteraddicted8627, boom roasted.

not to sound rude although it does how can someone afford all this stuff but the setup is awesome
Most people in this hobby, including myself, take years to collect and purchase the figures, displays, etc. My office is about 5-6 years in the making.
Thank you and thanks for watching! 😄
Nice collection. I cringe so bad when people call Rey a “Skywalker”. No, just…….. No.
Thanks!
I'm going by what Disney's calling her and what will help collectors find her figure. Even if I feel she should've been called a Palpatine, they're sticking with Skywalker.
HHHHHmjHHHHH
Way too much of the Disney new woke stuff for my personal taste... The clone wars stuff is cool though!
Amazing. Many ideas can be stolen from you. Thank you! 🫡
The quality of the video and your collection are incredible. Good job!
Thank you for the kind words, Gabriela! It's usually why it take so long for a lot of our videos to come out, haha! Planning takes up so much time, but it's always appreciated when it's noticed. 😭
