1:50:46 A flying, singing Terry Gilliam suddenly appears and meets a gruesome demise… It’s just brilliant! I’ve always wondered how the rest of “I’ve got two legs” goes 😂
We were lucky enough to get tickets for one of the live shows - and were even filmed singing away in the finale on one of the giant screens. I’m a bit too young to remember Monty Pythons the first time around, but we loved the show.
Was only 12 when Python started. Some of the humour was way over my head. As I grew I got to appreciate it more. These guys will always be comedy royalty.
When young, I had bought an album "Live at City Center" (1975?), which had many of these skits (but audio only, obviously). What a joy to be able to watch this, thank you for uploading.
That can be said for any Python sketch... No critique here, but I can remember when they were on TV and the next day there where a lot of confused teacher that did not get us when we repeates some of their lyrics. The first time I heard an entire movie theatre start singing along was during Eric Idle's Look on the Bright Side of Life. bt Idle is my favourite Pyton, followed closely by Michael Palin.
Honestly I felt exactly the same but thought I would give it a go and to my surprise it was amazing 🔥 probably my favourite live show ♠️ it is well put together by Eric Idle 🌪️ very professional and i found myself enjoying them again after all these years later 😜
This is a hard watch for me. See, Monty Python was the world to me when I was a kid growing up in the 1980s, and the BBC repeats - along with the books, the records, and the films - were my gateway to a warped (and hilarious) world. I had high hopes for the reunion, but they were quickly dashed. I was one of the thousands of silly sods who paid over a hundred quid to be there, and I think I laughed twice during the whole show. Some of the sketches had aged badly. Big splashy Vegas-style dance numbers with no apparent irony. Thinking that allusions to homosexuality would still pass muster in the year 2014. Just sticking up ancient bits of Gilliam animation on huge screens for people who've paid a hundred quid or more for a ticket. The whole thing just felt very lame and forced, right from the opening 'Retardis' gag with the man dressed as a kangaroo. Knowing Terry Jones was in the early stages of dementia makes it even more ghoulish. And I haven't watched any Python since. The interesting thing is, the awful reunion shows damaged the Python brand irreparably. Look at the fiftieth anniversary in 2019 - the Network BluRay set of the original TV series didn't break even. The album reissues flopped. All the BFI events (with the exception of the screening of The Rutles' All You Need Is Cash, which was more of an Idle-Innes collaboration than 'proper Python' anyway) did very badly. It seems the o2 shows put the lid on it for a lot of people, myself included. I loved them once, but that'll do.
Hey if this make them enough money to keep them from scrounging in my garbage cans for food rabid raccoons I’m all for it . -1 out of 10 would definitely not watch again.
An Elvis impersonator singing I Like Chinese as John Cleese stands awkwardly waving a ribbon is possibly the most unfunny thing Python has ever produced.
@@drewhughes9127I find those who turned up noses at MP's Flying Circus are copies of the people they made fun of 😉. Maybe the joke is on those who agreed with the op. 😂
I've never seen this. Fabulous. Brings back so many happy memories.
Rest in peace, Terry Jones.. and you, magnificent man, Graham Chapman...
Two absolutely amazing comedians!
Mother and son (Brian and Mandy Cohen) have been reunited! ❤
I'm 62 years now . I can say Monty Python saved my life in 1974 from boredom. God bless Monty Python.

The song in its entirety was published in one of the books. It's just those two verses. There are no more.
They have no equal, not even a close second. We were lucky to have them.
62 now, Monty Python was a big part of my youth then...even getting a bit emotional now I see this ...

Till today, I didnÄt know that a recording of this show exists. It's such a pleasure to watch those good old men performing.
It's on netflix
12:37 - 16:47 Wow! The way they were able to handle such elaborate choreography and tongue-twisty lyrics is amazing.
And what makes you think the dancers are the singers? Just thinking aloud. :)

wow, the guys who invented humor! I'm laughing at them since 40 years and I'm not even english :-)
They should have done the Mr Cresote sketch and the audience would be the guests at the restaurant! 🤣
Python up to its usual funny obscure shelf 😊lol
The world needs more Python 🍿🤩 Thank You

Forever 💕💙💛👍🍿🤩💕❄️🌻🎉🇨🇦😍❣️😍
57:54 Where are we can you remember?
You've done God's work putting this here mate. Good on you.
As John Cleese writes! That this would not have happened if Eric Idle had not had the time to do this.
We should all consider when they came out with those hilarious gags and songs 😂
Having played the Liberty Bell March, I can’t listen to it the same way again.
This is hilarious I love Monty Python!
"And now for something completely different".........true........lol
Pass ⚰️😞

Carol is as lovely as ever 😘🥰😍
Except for Graham Chapman, I’m sorry that you missed a lot of events but guess, what, you’ll watch it in heaven.
Graham’s always been late to these sort of things, ever since 1989.
Mike Ehrmantraut at the baton
Merci messieurs.
I showed the original to a friend of mine in Argentina several years ago, she said, "THAT IS NOT TRUE!", I nearly died laughing.
Comedy at its best
Amazing show! Thanks for the upload.
and here comes the COMIC TARTs !.......chuckle
Better than ever!
Who knew mike from beeaking bad was an orchestra conductor?
I love how in the Nudge Nudge Sketch Eric's fake mustache is half off! 1:18:01

Jolly nice!
If you have a second watch John Cleese at Grahams memorial- hilarious
Why is the audio terrible? I had turn my volume up by three times the normal amount to even hear this.
I’m glad I have a butt 😂
Me too mate!

So it's mostly 1080p, with some of it in 720p and the odd moment of 360p?
Who knew Stephen Hawking was a Python fan?
Well, he was intelligent 🙂

Excellent!

Classic Monty Python, 10% great and 90% garbage.
