I'm so happy I found this video! I have been debating about which incubator to get. I liked that the Maticoopx can hold more eggs, and right now, it's about $40 cheaper than the Nuture Right. So I will be buying the Maticoopx! Thank you!
I would definitely look elsewhere then the NR one. I purchased mine last fall, used it 5 times & now it will do nothing other than power on. Hoping to get a replacement since supposed to have a yr warranty but I've found lately the reviews on the Incubator website state that it and the customer service isn't great.
Excellent review. Thanks for sharing your experience. Curious to know if you used a hygrometer to determine which was most accurate with temperature and humidity?? Again, well done Sir.
Actually I haven't because both have been so dependable so far. And plus there really isn't a whole lot of room for anything else in there. All three have been on the counter together now for three days and all of them read the same.
Thank you for the review! I was about to buy the Nurture Right 360, but now am leaning towards the Maticoopx. The candler on the Maticoopx is definitely better than on the Nurture Right 360. How do you like the egg turner on the Maticoopx?
It doesn't matter if you run it with one egg or with 30, it will work just the same. Wish you luck. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and thanks for the comment.
The egg turner turns itself off when you lock the incubator down ( day 18 ). You can also unplug the egg turner if you want to, it doesn't hurt anything. Just make sure that you leave the turning bar in the slot so egg shells and other waste doesn't get down inside your motor. Also it does get a little crowded in the Maticoopx when they all hatch out with the babies and the old egg shells in there together.
Maticoopx is the company. They have several products. Everything is made in China. I have never been able to find a Website myself. But they do have an email for customer service. It's service@maticoopx.com. I have emailed them a couple of times. It takes them a day or so sometimes but they will email you back.
Hi, I see you have some large eggs ready to hatch. I need to accommodate turkey eggs will they fit in the mattix? I have read natureright does not turn them unless you get a different ring eggholder.
I have not personally tried turkey eggs in either one. I know they are bigger than the regular laying hen eggs. The laying hen eggs fit snuggly in the Maticoopx trays so I don't think turkey eggs would fit although it does mention turkey eggs in the instructions ( I'll look again when I get home ). I do not think that Maticoopx makes any other trays for this incubator but I know that the Nurture Right 360 makes other turners for theirs.
I do turkey eggs in mine but only 5 fit per rack. Broad breasted eggs are a super tight fit but I did some of them also. On Etsy you can purchase risers to add height. I like being able to see eggs in the center better at hatching. I usually leave the center basket in with my Govee and some of the eggs, the turner is off, so no danger to hatching poults.
You would have to tape up the entire top. The whole thing is white and it all lights up. If they would change the color when they made it, it would fix the problem.
@@blueoceanpinksky do you cool them down once a day? Spray them with water? What humidity do you keep them at? Humidity at lockdown? Sorry for all the questions...I have never done duck eggs
It has the instructions on top of it. Hold down the menu button for about 3 seconds. It will beep. Then set it to how many days and what temperature you want. Hit the menu button again and it's set.
@@MG956_ Tractor Supply doesn't carry the Maticoopx. They only carry the Nurture Right. I get my Maticoopx's off of Amazon. They are usually $145.00 on there. How do you like the egg turner on the Maticoopx?
It has worked great for me so far.
Another benefit to a square box is they sit alot nicer in a space.
Thank you for this review.
No problem. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Is there any benefit to running an incubator at full capacity versus halfway full? Our Maticoopx is on the way and I was just curious. Great videos

Are either one of these, manufactured in the USA?
I'm not asking about distribution.
If not, then in what country were they made.
I'm pretty sure that both are made in China.
The maticoopx is definitely made in China.
Did you set your second Maticoopx temps at 100.5 as well?
I put one on 100.5 and the other on 99.5. I had better results at 99.5.
@@milkmoneyminifarm Yeah, it seems the corners run a tad hot at 100.5. I'm going with an even 100.

Will the maticoopx do quail eggs ? Or do you have to buy different rails to put the eggs on
You can do quail eggs just fine. You will just have to lay them on their side. I'm about to make a video on some quail eggs in a week or so.

Maticoopx 30 Egg discontinuous? Does anyone know where to find this incubator?
You can get the Maticoopx from Amazon. The Nurture Right 360 can be found at Tractor Supply.
Have you used the maticoopx to hatch duck eggs?
I have not tried any duck eggs but a buddy of mine is talking about trying some turkey and quail eggs.
I’m putting duck eggs in mine today. I had a good rate with my chicken eggs I hatched with the maticoopx a month ago.

95- 97% hatch rate with the Maticoopx. 91-93 % with the Nurture 360.

it looks easier to pull the turner out of the NR vs the matipoop

The Nuture Right is just a one piece tray as to where the Maticoopx is five separate trays. But neither one is hard.
